Since moving to Kugane, she has taken on her natural red hair as to not stand out as much in crowds. When wearing less, it would be obvious that she has freckles covering her body, as well as a few more piercings. Scars & Markings: Freckles on face, neck, shoulders, spine, thighs and top of her butt. Gauges in ears fitted for linkpearls. Her right eye is a mismatch to the left-- stolen from another. The back of he neck has a scar that looks as if shrapnel ripped through it, barely missing her spine and artery. The left side of her abdomen, right over her kidney is another two ilm scar, now faded, and a third on her forearm, faded. Bebop is a very jovial person, at least usually. The public side of her is a happy-go-lucky, bubbly girl who can drive a conversation and brighten up a room the moment she steps in. She is highly likeable-- or so most would tell you. Clever, out of the box thinking often leads her to some bizarre idea to keep her, and her friends busy. She is a loving, caring person to the people she lets in. Highly protective of her friends and chosen family. A healer, caregiver, and watcher. The part of her most don't ever get a chance to see is the little monster that lurks within her. "I do bad things to worse people..." When you meet this side of her, you will not get a jovial, happy response. Cold. Callous. Calculating. She is as likely to attack you just for talking as she is if you try to run. Apologize for whatever wrong you did and simply hope you said the right words, because once the little dancer of death gets going-- she is a terror to stop. It was obvious she was Garlean to those who found her, slowly bleeding to death under the Sultana's Tree outside of Ul'dah. She was held captive for a span, and questioned quite harshly before she was given freedom to move through Eorzea and start her work as a doctor. After obtaining her licenses in Ul'dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, and even Ishgard, Jaz was free to practice medicine anywhere she chose. With the blessing of the Botanist's guild, she, and her friend Trystal was free to go about picking as many herbs as she would need to supply those in help. She was an ally of Eorzea, and she thrived.... The Cult She continued to thrive for some time, before running in to a blonde haired catte in the Quicksands. It was there that Jaz turned over to the underworld that pulsed through Eorzea. As someone who was ignorant to Magicks-- the aether that pulsed with life inside of her went largely untapped; at least until she stepped in to the hallowed halls of the Collective. It was there that Jaz started to learn. To understand how the cyclical nature of the Stream worked. It was there that Jaz learned that maybe killing wasnt exactly the terrible thing she was once taught it was... and it was here that she murdered her first person. And soon after, her second. It was there she learned how to tap in to her aetheric capacity... The Assassins And then she was noticed. Contacts came, and then so did work. One after another, contracts came-- and she had only one rule: kill only those that the law failed to catch. Rapists, pedophiles, murderers. She killed those that would poison the society she loved so much. Cut out the sickness with a scalpel, and save what pieces she could. She was good at what she did, and that is all that needs to be said. The Mob Even with the contracts coming in, Jaz still needed a place to stay-- and the Coven was the place she knew she could stay. Under charge of the Purple Squid, as Mamaka Maka likes to call her-- Liliro Liro was a problem for Jaz since stepping in the doors of her "Family." Shortly after arriving, Jaz was forced to kill Renala Nala after the woman stepped on a swinging log trap. Paralyzed from the neck down- Jaz took her girlfriend's life with a single gunshot. From there, the Squid did all she could to hurt Jaz. Setting rules and limitations on who the once cheerful lalafell could talk to, date, and spend time with. Then the threats of having her tongue ripped out, being tortured, and getting raped by beasts and monsters of Eorzea were being tossed at Jaz on a constant basis. Her girlfriend at the time, Elaine Metronoma was constantly at risk, and then a miracle happened... both Jaz, Percy, Jean and Athulis decided enough. After being forced to watch the horrible suicide of Elysia Aurum they all decided to leave. The withdrawal took more than a dozen "Family" members to a new place... where they all flourish in their own ways. The tyranny was over... and now Jaz could refocus... The War After a stay in Orchid, she was introduced via Athulis to the Realmsward Initiative, lead by [[Von Sayrilliont]. After Athulis' murder, Jaz immediately took on the position of Orchid's representative. The Initiative was a bright light that she desperately needed. A way to free the auri, and country she loved so dearly-- Othard, Jaz went full on in to finding ways to support the cause, even going so far as to lead a small strike force of Magitek Reapers she used to combat the Garleans. Orchid, to her, was not enough. She was a doctor, and with so many in the company not sharing the same interests as her, she left to join the Drakensguard itself. And it was here her life changed the most. Sure she worked as a doctor in clinics she, herself opened, ran, and supplied, but it was in the Drakensguard that Jaz was able to really begin establishing herself as the masterful practitioner she truly was. She even managed to take on a protege, Tsumugi Yumitori. But it wasnt all work-- Jaz found someone special in her time between surgeries and battles; or rather, Mamaka Maka found her. From dancing on stages, to glancing at one another in the Coven's halls.. even hanging around bars in Ul'dah... the simple soldier who was so much more than that was a constant in Jaz's life. They always seemed to see one another, but never talk... Until they did talk... Love followed. Life followed. Happiness followed. A family began. And now they walk together, catching each other if they should stumble (even if Jaz is a lot more clumsy there). The war led them to Kugane.. and with the Realmsward Initiative crumbling, the drive to return to Eorzea faded. The Othardian Resistance was there with them. The fight to free not only Othard, but Gyr Abania, Maka's home was so close... So they left the Drakensguard behind, and now they reside in the Hingashi city of Kugane operating out of a clinic... Moving forward The clinic, also known as The Fox's Paw, is run by both Tsumugi, Maka, and Jaz together. While Maka may not be a doctor, Mugi and Jaz are some of the best around. And where Jaz excels in surgery, Mugi cleans up in alchemy and medicine. And where both of them lack in the wherewithal in magickal capability, Maka is there to spread her aetheric prowess, of which she happily teaches Jaz. It must be said though, that there have been sightings recently around Kugane of a tiny white fox hiding in the corners of Kugane... ever watching. General Practitioner Jaz picked up her first medical text at the age of six. Reading anatomy books and slowly learning from the ground up on her own, mostly. She was usually alone and left to her own devices as she wandered the labs and offices where her parents worked. At eight, when she became a naturalized citizen, she was given proper medical training and studied in psychology, surgery, basic alchemy, and rudimentary natural medicines such as aromatherapy and the like. Gunslinger Jaz is a nightmare with a gunblade, and trained at eight once she was naturalized as a citizen in the city she grew up in-- but ever since Scarlet Feather's aetheric weapon nearly destroyed her weapon 'Renala' in totality, and nearly killed her in the process in an outburst of rage from a post-traumatic trigger, she has had a tough time finding the justification to fight with the rifle she built using parts of her old. She now focuses in other areas... Water Dancer Jaz dances for entertainment, sure. She can put on cabaret shows, burlesque shows, and even strip seductively... but on the field? Jaz is alive. She is a dancer that once used her rifle to help shift her momentum in to attacks rather than a weapon to shoot people. Now she uses a proper sword and adds basic magicks to empower her blade. The moon of Bebop's life. The light that shows her the way along the Duskmother's path. Maka found Bebop when hope was dying, and pulled her back to a sense of normalcy. They can talk for bells on end about nothing, and show each other sides no one else gets to see. Maka is a black mage who lost much, but now it is Jaz's turn to help Maka feel that same sense of normalcy. Mamaka is curently pregnant with Bebop's child, and due within the moon. The two run a small clinic operating outside of Kugane known as the Faux Paw with the help of Tsumugi Yumitori. Maka acts as Bebe's aetheric teacher-- ensuring that Jaz is properly instructed in the ways of both Thaumaturgy, and Conjury... though, it might be suspected more is at play in her teachings. Scarlet Feather ♥ - The Max to Bebe's Min Scarlet Feather destroyed Bebop's most prized possession: her gunblade. She destroyed Bebop's body-- breaking every rib, puncturing her shoulder and belly through and through and fractured her skull after a duel that went south and quickly evolved in to a post-traumatic triggering. This was the first impression the Roe had left on her, yet despite it all... despite the loss and the pain.... Bebop apologized to her, of all things-- for making Scarlet worry and feel guilty. Bebop and Her, over time, have now become like sisters and are inseparable from one another Tsumugi Yumitori ♦ - Doctor Moogle Jaz knows little about this woman, save for that she is a Garlean defector-- and the important fact that she is also auri. Mugi, or, Vesper as Bebop has taken to calling her is a subordinate in her eyes, but shows great promise in the field of medicine. Jean Lefavre ♥ - ♪♫ Jeeean the Soulmate ♫♪ Jean is quite possibly the one true person who would ever truly get Bebe, ever. The two are insane, and dont ever not manage to have fun. Be it drinking, Jaz riding on his shoulders, or doing something dastardly, the two are troublemakers through and through and it shouldn't ever be any other way. After some brushes with death, Jaz finally laid her feelings out for him. Somehow, miraculously, she used the right words in the right order to come to a sort of... romantic, but non-sexual partnership to always have each other when everyone else fails. Renala Nala ✖ - Deceased, Ex Girlfriend Renala tore Bebop's eye out on the unjust order of Liliro Liro. Blinded, maimed... yet still Bebe cared for her. They were together a short time, but Renala was Bebop's first girlfriend since coming to Eorzea. She was struck down due to a swinging log trap that slammed in to her head, severing her third vertebra. When she awoke from a coma it was found she was Paralyzed from the neck down-- and in an act of mercy Bebop gave her a warrior's death and ended her life with a shot to her head. Renala lives on-- the loud mouthed little lalafell will always be remembered as Bebe's loud little gun, named after her. Athulis Faulkner ✖ - Deceased, Ex Boss Athulis was always levelheaded. He helped Bebop countless times while in the Coven-- be it listening or just being a friend. When the exodus came to leave that place, he led the charge with Eshea Tende and all of her friends in tow. She stood by him, and he stood by her. When he said "No" in the order to restrain Elysa Aurum he gained a loyal follower for the time he had left, and while he walked away leaving a terribly sour note in Jaz's mind, it doesnt change that he meant so much to her-- and that she will find whoever killed him, and end their life. Elaine Metronoma ♠Distrust, Missing. - Fiance Ellie is missing, presumed siding with the Syndicate. Jaz wants nothing to do with her after standing her up when Jaz finally proposed to her. Liliro Liro ♠ - Tyrannical Douche Liliro Liro is the epitome of everything bad in Eorzea and Lalafell. Insane, unhinged, no basis for her violence. She has sex slaves, tortures people for no reason, leads people to suicide, openly tries to get her employees raped by monsters. She killed Elysa Aurum via torture that drove the girl to commit suicide while under the effects of a hallucinogenic. She coerced Elaine Metronoma in to becoming a sex slave. She unjustly took Bebop's eye, and emotionally traumatized her for moons. She is a disease that needs to be cut away and disposed of in a fire. Bebop openly plots to kill her. Kye Karu ♠ - The Absent Coward Kye Karu abandoned Maka and Bebe quite some time ago after promising to never leave the two of them. His complete lack of any care about the both of them has painted him in a heavily negative light in Jaz's eyes. His whining over everything that didnt end in his favor, and flaring anger got her set on edge and with his lengthy absence-- she now see's him as a coward who ran from never getting his way. Jaz and Maka, though, regardless of his rude, self-centered behavior, share a quite happy life together and are expecting a child, and no matter the asinine ideology he lived by, Jaz recognizes that without him, the time she and Maka share now would never have been possible.
