In reality, she hails from the prestigious Tokunaga family, one of notable power in the lesser-traveled mountainous regions of Yanxia. How one may find her entirely depends on what role she claims to play at the moment; Shion, the meek, stuttering mess of a healer, or 'Sparrow', a gun-toting exorcist intent on bringing justice to lawless lands and cleansing corruption when she comes across it. The two personas she plays vary widely depending on her company. Error creating thumbnail: File missing The face most commonly worn by Shion seems to differ depending on the company she currently keeps. When among strangers, she plays herself off as a stuttering mess of a novice healer, who knows little of Eorzea and its ways. However, around those who have either garnered her trust or have thrown off this mask, she reveals herself to be a well-spoken, though almost aloof woman. The former face is used to garner information easily for her other persona - 'Sparrow' - as few would think much of someone who seems so fearful standing around. While she does seem to have several personalities she plays, she does not seem to have a malicious intent behind them - it seems to be more of a carefully thought out observation plan than anything else. Notable Aspects: ■ If one is to throw off her 'shy' face, she does make an effort to make the transition to her 'diplomat' face as seamless as possible. ■ It is possible to know her as 'Sparrow' and recognize her as Shion - it's not a secret identity, just another face she plays. ■ Despite her 'vigilante' face not being secret, Shion is unlikely to admit to being 'Sparrow' directly, unless one happens to catch her and make the connection. Appearance She is most commonly seen donning a finely made set of robes, which are a pure snow white in color. A keyhole cutout for her breasts is also notable on the clothing, as well as various small crystals among it; these glow faintly, though otherwise seem mundane. Alongside this, she wears thigh-high stockings and black mary jane pumps. Shion is rather attractive - befitting of one whose specialty is political socialization - with a youthful face. Her age is unclear, but she appears to be in her early twenties. Her eyes, chocolate brown with bright gold limbal rings, always seem a bit tired in part due to their naturally droopy shape; she often takes the time to put on makeup, though keeps it relatively simple - primarily winged liner, mascara, and a bit of concealer. Dark freckles dot her cheeks, going over a small, flattish nose; her lips are quite thick, often covered in a deep pink balm to keep them from being chapped. Her hair is a long, flowing chestnut color that falls in layers down to the small of her back. Bangs sit just above her eyebrows, feathered straight across, and the tips of her hair are dyed a rose pink. Her body is quite thin, though accompanied by a very large bust for her figure, and a well-shaped behind and legs. Notes: ■ Rather short, even by Au Ra standards - she's barely four fulms and nine ilms. ■ Sometimes wears black oval glasses - lately, though, she hasn't been wearing them as often. ■ Her disposition remains almost constantly neutral, though she knows just when to use an expression for maximum impact. Please note that I am very open to gore and violence and am not beyond having my character sport an injury for days to weeks on end. However! Dismemberment, permanent damage, and even death needs to be spoken about prior in vivid detail/discussion before anything will ever occur IC. ■ Teir 1 Combat: An old Tier combat system from Cheetah/Yahoo Chat days. This system is something I grew up using and enjoy thoroughly. This system uses detailed paragraphs (I don't expect 4+ paragraphs) to explain actions that are being placed in combat. It uses a roll system which the person playing the attack will roll and the defender will need to roll higher to defend. Critical hits are welcomed in this system and often are considered if the difference between rolls are over 700 (using ingame /random rolls) ■ Designated Personal Systems: Everyone has their own system for group combat RP which they themselves made or they made for their Free Company. I am open to discovering, learning, and uses all kinds! ■ Slider Scale: While I do not mind a slider scale of abilities, I would very much like to limit my usage of this system in any roleplay. ■ Freeform/Honor System: I will only acknowledge the honor system with people I trust or know won't be literal jerks in RP. I will often request the basic roll system (See t1) for fights with people I do not truly know but am willing to Freeform/Honor system it if you can prove you are not going to just Naruto/Bleach up the fight as well as avoid EVERYTHING thrown at you, even within less then an inch of the attack. OOC NOTES OOC INFORMATION Player Note I have a very clear distinction when it comes to OOC/IC. They must remain separate at all times if we are to RP together, especially on an extended basis and I reserve the right to end interactions should this be impeded upon. I've been burnt heavily by people mistaking IC care and OOC friendship and attention with romantic regard and honestly I don't wish to go through another such debacle once more. If my character dislikes yours that does not mean I hold the same sentiment. If my character loves yours that does not translate to me feeling the same for you, though I might feel a platonic equivalent. I am not my characters and they are not me. Respect this and we shall get along famously. Personal RP Limits I don't have very many hardcore limits honestly as I feel consequences must be adhered to when RPing any character regardless of whom they might be. However there are a few exceptions to this and they are as follows. ■ I will play Almost anything that isn't described below. ■ I won't play Death, Rape, Maiming, ERP only Plots. I don't mind romance but it needs to be earned and respected. Do not try and force your character on to mine. If I feel this is the case I will quickly end the RP and speak with you OOCly to either correct the issue or end the RP connection between the two in a faithful manner both parties can agree upon. Disclaimer Little Tidbits. ■ If you're ever uncomfortable, tell me! I don't bite! I can get pretty into RPing out consequences however and while I do my best to make sure permission is had and everyone is comfortable I'm not perfect. If you have a problem speak up. ■ This is a broad statement for all my characters, but I have a hard limit of at least two months before I'll allow my character to enter a relationship. A good friend mentioned their own rule regarding this and I greatly respected the idea of it, so I'll be putting it into practice myself. I've been burned far too many times by hasty RP relationships and want to make it clear from the get go so there is no misunderstanding. If your character is trying to romance my own, be prepared for it to take awhile.
