Edyva hails from relatively humble beginnings. Her father works as a humble merchant and her mother is a weaver, and together they run a small textile business in Limsa Lominsa. Edyva had a much older brother - Eadwin - but he enlisted in the Maelstrom and was lost in the Battle of Carteneau. Losing him and coming to terms with the destruction that can befall the people she loves, the bubbly young Edyva's personality shifted immensely at the age of 16. Where before she had a lust for life, she has grown rather blase about everything. Everything, that is, except for gaining power. One night - after yet another attempt by her mother to get her to help with the business failed immensely - Edyva booked passage to Vesper Bay and began the journey to Ul'dah. Appearance

Cocovachi is a short, stout young man with a dark skin tone and smooth complexion, a jagged mop of snow-white hair that spikes out in various directions, and a pair of Amethyst eyes that shine a vibrant purple when the light catches them. Despite his lack of height at a meager 2' 10", his bodily strength in such a small form makes up in spades.

Born and raised on a farm, his motions are practiced, and methodical, if a tad meticulous at times, what with his teachings of doing something right by pacing himself, or keeping matters simple, stupid. This results in motions that utilize the weight of his body moreso than energetic efforts - a single beckoning swing towards himself to call others close, rather than rapid side-to-side hand motions, or spending time shadowing his movements before executing them...

Mannerisms

Cocovachi always had an aspiration from a young age to see the world - the sights, the sounds, the people! Not being much of a homebody, but knowing when to take breaks, he'll spend a good deal of time in an otherwise unusual place - somewhere he's never been or seen, to soak in the culture, and try to better grasp their ways. Of course, he might make a small mistake here or there, and try to correct himself while retreating into his original ways...

He's never been one to simply stand by and watch when things ain't going right - often stepping in to the defense of others selflessly, even if it means he gets roughed up in their place. It started with a farmhand trying to calm down a Chocobo, and ended in him getting kicked in the chest, rather than the farmhand. But it proved to him that even when life knocks you down, you get back up a little toucher every time. And he's gotten up just about every time he's been kicked down, so far.

If it's one thing Coco' can't help himself with doing, it's admiring the birds - The chocobo farms are to blame, but being a caring soul, he loves to hear the "stories" the 'Bos have to tell him, as well as plenty of practiced care to provide them - whetehr it be a bird of his own, or someone else's.

Philosophy & Ideals

Cocovachi firmly believes that everyone deserves some love in their life, and that deep inside almost each and every person he meets, there's a little bit of light in them that just needs some nurturing and care to make it come blossoming out, and into the kindness he "knows" they can provide to those around them.

Despite his can-do attitude and willingness to put himself in harm's way for others, beneath the surface, he's come to terms with the possibility that he can't change every heart or mind. That he's just one little soldiery-man, and that he can't save all of 'em. ...But that doesn't keep him reminding himself that he's still gotta try.

Personality Tidbits

• Coco' knows how to carry a tune by himself, but others singing with him causes him to clam up...
• Coco' will spend minute upon minutes, the time between the seconds, just to make sure everything's maintained, and everyone's prepped.
• He treats Chocobos like they were people - down to asking for their name, and their story.
• The boy's never had a proper brew in his life yet, but his tolerance for pain belies his tolerance for the spirits...
• Due to his upbringing, Coco' could do menial work - the most boring, mundane crap imaginable, and somehow find a way to make it a pleasant detour.
• Coco' will never admit any affections he has openly, merely hinting at them. He's bashful about the people he like-likes, maybe even loves, very much so.
• Coco' cares for those that care about him back tenfold - maybe a bit too much to some, but his truest friends are worth more than any sum of Gil.
• Offending the farmboy usually comes with the benefit of the doubt - maybe it was just a slip-up on their part. But doubling down on that offense threatens to bring out the beast in the boy...

Strengths		Flaws
Swordsmanship - Strong arms make for a good swordsman, like the heroes in the fables he's heard. Acceptance - Having lived a life of being told his tasks, he's come to take what he can get, and give back in kind for his efforts. Courageous - Call it foolishness or courage, but Coco' is willing to approach situations that others might backpedal from. Determination - Once his mind's made up, there's no stopping Cocovachi. The job gets done full-way, or not at all, no ifs, ands, or buts.		Stubborn - Despite the difficulties presented, Coco' may just try to press on past them, with either borderline Herculean tenacity, or Sissyphean oblivion. Too Accepting - Often times, he just doesn't try to bargian for less work, more pay, etc etc. He just takes what's given, and does what he can. Oblivious - Some things just go right over his head, usually because his mind is focused elsewhere entirely, and usually requiring a blunt statement. Self-Esteem - Often times, he might seek validation that he's doing just as good work as others, often worried that he's underperforming... Protector - Coco' might sometimes step in for 'the little guy', and end up in a no-win situation, or he might extend his defense to one that doesn't actually need it, out of a desire to help.

Catagelophobia - Coco' is afraid sometimes, that those he cares about might ridicule him, especially without warning or reason. Autophobia - Sure, there's nothing there in the dark that wasn't there in the light, but it still doesn't do Coco' any favors when just being alone, be it out in the open or in a room, terrifies him, to the point of carrying a stuffed animal. Selenophobia - Horror stories have taught him (erroneously, or maybe not...?) that only wicked things come out under the light of the moon, creating a fear of the celestial object itself, and the idea that the Moon itself is an icon of evil.		Exploring - He loves to see new places and folks. Chocolate - Milk, Semi-sweet, Dark, almost all kinds of cocoa are his favorite dessert, or even a snack, and it comes in so many forms... His favorite flavor, is Red Velvet. Helping - Just aiding someone else in need is satisfaction enough for the farmboy. Defeating tough opponents - The adventuring life will demand he gets stronger, and nothing builds strength like a challenging clash!

RP Preferences:

I'm open to roleplaying with just about everyone - Veteran or novice RPer alike! Walkups are welcome and encouraged. My only three real requests are:

First - That you try to keep OOC and IC interactions separate when possible. I really prefer trying to keep character interactions in-character, and trying to differentiate when I'm talking to your character and *you* is difficult when someone constantly switches between the two without a warning. So trying to use "(( ))" tags when possible is greatly appreciated! :)

Second - I welcome almost all backstories and roleplays. If you'd like to do some sort of life-changing collaboration storyline involving Mikae, please clear it with me first so I can think about the story a bit ahead of time and make it an awesome experience for both of us! That being said, I almost never turn down playing a role in your character's development.

Third - Regarding character relationships, while I am okay with Mikae becoming - slowly - involved with somebody romantically, It would need to be something that would be built up upon many roleplaying sessions. I also want to stress that it would be strictly IC and would have it not bleed into the real world. Please respect that I prefer to keep the boundary in-game and will respond negatively if you try to make it go beyond that. Thank you! :)
