Keeper of the Moon miqo'te who claims Ala Mhigo as his home and an Ala Mhigan refugee as his father.

Appearance & Personality

Soft spoken, Krys'a has unruly black hair with streaks of a deep russet color and fair features. He wears the matching black boots and vest of a street performer over a short sleeve shirt and off-white pants that are tucked into his boots. A pouch seems to hang on his left side, but its strap is actually sewn to the vest to keep his bag of tricks from being displaced as he performs his acrobatics. He wears no jewelry, his arms bare nearly to the shoulders to give his slight of hand tricks better effect when he produces small items from nowhere or makes them vanish.

Krys'a is almost always smiling, even if only slightly. He is also almost always doing some kind of minor trick such as rolling a coin across his knuckles or making coins seem to vanish and reappear as he moves his hands in a flourished motion. While friendly to everyone he meets, Krys'a has a definite soft heart when it comes to Ala Mhigan refugees, particularly children who he will sit and do trick for for hours on end.

When talking about his family, Krys'a constantly forgets to say that none of them are miqo'te since it really does not matter to him what race anyone is. Due to his upbringing in the poor districts of Ala Mhigo, he rarely saw other miqo'te before he fled the city with his father and is still highly curious about other miqo'te and will study them, especially if they are doing something he finds confusing - such as sitting perched on a railing in the Quicksand. Despite that curiosity, he avoids walking close to groups of four or more miqo'te.

Biography: Revealed during RP

The search for his missing sister was what brought Krys'a and his father to Ul'dah. Having found her, Krys'a began to spend more of his time with the local Ala Mhigan refugees or making connections in the encampments and on the streets of Ul'dah where he is a street performer.

Among those Krys'a met is the young miqo'te N'ureai Urezie, who he began teaching coin tricks to in exchange for her showing him how to hunt. Things are complicated between them, but Krys'a remains committed to trying to help her.

Krys'a is currently in La Noscea, having gone there to avoid his family in Ul'dah being pulled into the chaos that surrounds him.

Krys'a is a born streetrat'cat' that learned it is better to fast-talk his way out of fighting, than to face much larger highlander youths in hand-to-hand combat.

When he does fight, Krys'a will use either knuckle guards, to prevent damage to his hands, or knives. He has some training in the use of swords from his father, but has only began to learn swordsmanship after they left Ala Mhigo.

RELATIONS ♥ Romantic Interest ♥ Platonic Love ● Good Standing ● Neutral Standing ● Poor Standing ● Nureai Urezie : He enjoys spending time talking to Nureai and started out their friendship by teaching her slight of hand skills in exchange for her promise to hunt with him. Krys'a had never hunted before and knew he would not be very good, but he still looked forward to being taught how to hunt. The hunt lesson, which is still unfinished, is turning out to be far different from what Krys'a had expected, even knowing that N'ureai thought a little different from everyone else. ● Rick Fairchild : Krys'a met Rick when N'ureai finally took Krys out on his first hunting lesson. Rick managed to come to almost arm length of Krys'a without him being aware, a testament to Rick's skills outdoors or Krysa's lack of outdoor skills. He has not yet decided what to think of the healer, but the man seems to mean no harm to N'ureai. ● Sasha Rochester : Krys'a had seen Sasha around Ul'dah a few times, and was finally was introduced to her by Rick shortly after Krys'a and Rick encountered N'ureai in the Gold Court. Shaken by the experience of a few minutes before the meeting, Krys'a was horrified to completely fail a simple slight of hand that should have looked as though he had picked a rose from the air for Sasha. It was Sasha who was able to provide Krys'a with the location of the Shrine to Rhalgr in Little Ala Mhigo. ● Zeryr Roemeaux : Krys'a is not sure what to think of the sellsword, but knows that the elezen has information on his sister. He sees the sellsword as someone to be careful in dealing with, so has left the task to his father. (Krys'a would never admit this is partly because he knows the sellsword is only steps from the Quicksand, so assures his aging father is not running all over Ul'dah in the desert heat.) ● Ruinfeild Oakshield : He met Ruinfeild when the Roegadyn was sitting at a table in the Quicksand with Nureai. Ruinfield reminds Krys'a a lot of his father, so chose to call him "Old Bear" when given the option. ● Severian : Krys'a would not exactly say he is scared of the guildmaster of the alchemists' guild, but he has avoided returning to the guild after the guildmaster overheard him ask one of the apprentices about Talyn and told Krys'a that he was welcome to ask all the questions he wanted, as long as he was testing the potions of beginning students while he did so. Enemies: ● Vahjah'tan Raha : (Standing: hatred) Krys'a was told about Vahjah'tan (Vaja) by his sister. After hearing of how the pale-haired Seeker of the Sun had stalked his sister and caused her harm, Krys'a hunted for Vaja, shocked to actually find the other miqo'te and a young lady in the same location as where Talyn had described being assaulted. Krys'a warned Vaja there was now a considerable bounty on the miqo'te's head and that Vaja was to leave Ul'dah and never return. There have been no reported sightings of Vahjah'tan Raha in the area since, although the Flames warn ladies of all races that there are still known to be others like Vahjah'tan hiding within Ul'dah and advise ladies to seek the company of trusted companions should they need to walk the streets after certain hours. Any Miqo'te players that would like to interact with Krys'a would be awesome.
