Basic Info

"Basic information? Like what? My height? 5 fulms 10 ilms I guess.

My weight? 150 ponze if I were to guess, I could be wrong.

Are you seriously asking me what I look like? Alright...I'll play along. For one, my hair tries to be as black as it can and it's just up to me to style it however I want. I have brown eyes if you couldn't see that properly. I'd like to think that I have a fair complexion but that could go either way really. I'm probably dark compared to those pasty white Ishgardians I saw that one time.

What do you mean do I swing that way? I do not swing that way.

My own musculature? Are trying to bloat my ego? Well if you were asking me I think I've been doing a fine job toning myself, swinging an axe almost day in and day out.

Am I single? Do I look like I have a special lady friend? I only wish I have one.

My name day? 20th sun of the Third Umbral Moon.

My guardian? Well I'd like to think it is Nymeia since I believe that she's been spinning my thread away from those who would like to shank me in a dark alleyway somewhere because of my own self and how I see the world.

Any other interests? Cooking, I love to eat but I love to eat the delicious things that I make. On top of that, I have this curiosity about aether. I'm hoping that one day I might be able to tap into my own reserves and roast an entire field of Sahagin or Amal'jaa alive. I guess I'm also interested in learning how to be better with a spear. I also carry around this arcane tome supplied by the Arcanist's Guild after I had asked to apply and somehow passed the application process. Too many big words for me though and if Adeya had any say in it, I think it would have something to do with the guild's standards dropping immensely."

History

"Now how far back do you want me to go? I mean my childhood isn't exactly interesting, my mother, an ex-pirate, made it a point to teach me how to use an axe like she did so many years ago. She surely didn't waste a single minute of my own life. Though I did sneak out every now and then and played with the other kids. She used her share of the plunder, which was all of it after turning on her own crew and selling her own ship, to buy us a house and as well find me a mentor. The house wasn't large and my own mentor who would teach me reading and writing expired after a certain...incident. Let's just say I knew enough before she finally sent me off on a boat, with my puppy, Apple, to Limsa Lominsa a few years after I became of age. I try to keep Apple in my 'free' inn room at the Mizzenmast after I had helped solve some of the problems of Summerford and Red Rooster Stead.

In any case, my mother said something about a Roegadyn named Wyrnzoen who could help me learn the ways of the axe and how to use it beyond chopping lumber, which was the main reason I was even sent to Limsa Lominsa. Well, aside from her wanting me to follow in her footsteps, though I am anything but seaworthy and somehow fear what lurks beneath those waves. Thankfully, someone mistook me for an adventurer and sent me to Baderon instead, I think it was my mother's old axe slung on my back that gave it away or someone thought that I was a pirate looking for another way of life. In any case this Baderon was my sole source of gil since no one wanted a very fresh immigrant to work for them or it must have been the axe slung on my back. I can't really tell. I found Wyrnzoen at the Marauder's guild a few days later.

Where does my father fit in all this? I have no idea, my mother herself refuses to speak about him. So I can't exactly say myself."

Personality

"You're seriously asking me about my own personality? Okay then.

I guess, I'd like to point out that I have this need to just help the people that come my way. Steel Wolf herself had warned me about my tendency to help others, says its an easy way for people to take advantage of me. And true enough, I am no stranger to being taken advantage of but if it helps from keeping me homeless and puts food in my stomach I couldn't really care either way.

I'm usually a quiet individual, content to eavesdrop on others unless talked to. You can't exactly expect me to be objective about my own self but I do also believe that I have the inability to stop talking once talked to. Now I have seen a number of reactions to me and myself and most of them have been negative. Just ask Adeya, she looks like she's about ready to sic her Carbuncle on me whenever I start asking her things about the arcanima. I get the feeling that continuing down this path would probably piss someone off and get me killed, but I can't stop being myself now can I? Though I do try not to get on anyone's nerves, if someone takes a sarcastic tone with me, I take on with them. If they're aggressive, I'm aggressive.

I do make it a point to finish whatever I've started and to commit to whatever others require of me. Again, it makes me easy to take advantage of but I simply cannot stop myself.

I'm not really sure what else I could say on this front."

Affiliations

"My affiliations? First and foremost, I'm a registered member of the Adventurer's Guild, secondly I work for the Yataghn Trading Consortium based in Ul'dah. In the Adventurer's Guild, I answer to Baderon while I answer to Nako'li Chalahko in the Consortium.

As for the people I've met so far, which are a scant few, one of the most notable ones would be an arcanist who refuses to say my name. You may know her as Adeya Evenar, I have this creeping suspicion that she'll try to attempt something while training me to be an arcanist. I am very sure that she'll purposefully teach me the wrong methodology but I think it is better than just trying to transpose scribbles from a book blind.

I have had a run-in with Steel Wolf or Stahlwilf, I would say that she could easily strike fear into the hearts of whatever the hell is in her way. She is a nice enough individual though and is responsible for the armor that keeps me safe as I'm sent into repeated excurions into Toto-Rak.

Another Roegadyn I'd like to mention is Gentle Sun. He was probably the reason I know the difference between a warrior and just another person with a weapon. A warrior is a predator sitting on top of the food chain, I want to be that. He was also generous enough to show me a few tricks I could use with my axe.

A stranger named Chou and her compatriots once mistook me for her father. I barely run into them but I get this notion that one of them, a man named Oskwell, would probably take pleasure in seeing my corpse in Toto-Rak. It wouldn't be a stretch to say all three or four of them want that. I'm happy to keep them disappointed and continue living. Well personally I don't hold any ill will against them. I'm told I'm too forgiving and too trusting so that might actually make them happy once I realize I've been shanked a few dozen times in some Ul'dah alleyway and someone finds my body.

Avis Inkwood, I have only seen her once and that was her dropping a comment about where I chose to go fishing. I do have to agree with her in that 'Drydocks' doesn't sound like a promising location to catch fish.

I met Nako'li Chalahko while I was waiting for another Miqo'te in the Quicksand. He had approached me after I had been sent to bolster a Flames Detachment to stop the Amal'jaa from summoning Ifrit, I don't want to remember that, mountains of Amal'jaa on either side. I had not known that he was an officer of the Flames but he did not mind. In the end, he had given me an offer I couldn't see myself refusing.

Finally, I guess there is another Miqo'te I have met. Goes by the name Khaja Lahti I've only talked to her once but she seems like a nice enough person."

RP Areas

"Where am I usually wasting away? I guess the Quicksand or the Drowning Wench come to mind easily. I also spend time at the Bismarck every now and then or peruse whatever the Ul'dahn markets have to offer. Sometimes I'm at the Canopy in Gridania as well. Well any of those places really, if I'm not being sent out into whatever part of Eorzea."
