L I K E S ■ Fire -- To say Yuki enjoys watching fire would be a terrible understatement. ■ Chocolate Milk -- Her first introduction to it was after coming to Eorzea. Ever since, it's been her only drink of choice. ■ Cats -- They're small, they're cute, they're fuzzy, and they purr. What's not to love? ■ Piano -- It's been a while since Yuki has had the opportunity to play. And she's not the best. But, she has fun, and that's what's important. ■ Shiny Things -- Whether a silk, a bit of metal, or just something that shimmers, Yuki loves it, and would likely try to collect it. Especially if it's reflective.

D I S L I K E S ■ Swimming -- For one, she can't call upon her beloved fire in the water. For two, she can't swim. ■ Rude People -- Although she doesn't always catch it due to not having a perfect grasp of Eorzean, she doesn't like rude people. She doesn't think it necessary. ■ Melancholy -- When someone is obviously down, Yuki makes it her goal of the day to fix it.

H A B I T S  &  S K I L L S Quirks/Vices ■ Friendly -- Yuki can, and will, make friends with everyone. ■ Extrovert -- It's not hard to get her attention. And she'll try to get yours. ■ Playing with Fire -- Whether she called it herself, or a campfire, match, or what have you, she'll watch it, and she'll play with it. Abilities/Skills ■ Pyromancy -- Yuki's primary combat skill lies with her magic. She is especially capable with fire-aspected thaumaturgy. ■ Fire-Dancing -- An interesting skill she's worked on and developed herself. Whether she is using her staff, or using the Star Ruby slivers in her fingernails, she is constantly moving while casting, almost like a dance.

■ Spirituality/Religion: Yuki pays tribute to the Dawn Father and Dusk Mother.

■ Politics: An art for those with more patience and more selfishness than Yuki.

■ Body: She is not the largest of women. She's not strong, she's rather small (although a little chubby), and she's soft, with fair curves, that often are hidden by thick clothing. ■ Skin: Yuki has smooth mocha skin. It is interspersed with various patches of glimmering white scales. ■ Hair: She likes to let her thick red hair hang in her face, most times. Still, she takes great care to keep it healthy. ■ Eyes: Her eyes are a deep violet.

■ Clothes: Her clothing is often something that stands out, much like herself, preferring finer clothing whenever possible. ■ Jewelry: She doesn't wear too much jewelry, aside from a pair of silver rings around her horns. ■ Distinguishing Features: She wears a pair of silver glasses. As well, like all Au Ra, she has pointed horns instead of ears, and white scales across her body, with a matching tail, that's spined at the end. ■ Other: She often wears a light bit of makeup. Eyeliner, blush, and lip gloss. None of it too thick, just enough to make herself feel pretty.

H I S T O R Y

Yuki was born in Doma, on the continent of Othard. She first displayed her magical gift when she was very young, nearly burning her family's house down. However, that fire was not linked to her, and it would not be until she was about six that it would be discovered, and she was sent to a special school to train. She enjoyed her time there, even if she struggled as she found it was difficult, if not impossible, for her to cast most schools of magic.

After she finished her schooling, she soon found work at one of the forges. Although she was not strong herself, she had a knack for heating the forge, and even being able to heat the metals herself. Oddly, she never seemed to be burned by it, even holding white-hot metals in her bare hand, with no adverse affects. She continued to work there for a few years, before the rebellion started. She had not taken part of it herself, not even really knowing, as she was mostly in her own little bubble of happiness. What she did know though, is that the Garleans fought back, and they fought back far more effectively.

She fled on the boats to Eorzea, generally being seasick the entire time, before finding herself in a strange new land. She spent the next couple years trying to learn the language and culture, occasionally struggling with it from time to time. Since coming here, she has met Fenrir, and found a new home and family within her Free Company, Aethertide Venture. And despite it all, she remains just as happy and friendly an Au Ra as ever.

They met in Ul'dah, when Yuki was being swindled by a street con in a game of Cups. After the scene that occured, Fenrir chose to serve as a guide for Yuki, who still hadn't quite learned the way of the world when it comes to Eorzea. They have since started dating, and have been enjoying spending time together. They have a relatively open relationship, although Yuki stays dedicated to the Miqo'te, only dallying at her side.   Cleo Tekka (♦  ●  ✔) - Cleo Cleo is another member of Aethertide. After having made a cheeesecake and sharing it with the small Au Ra, quickly becoming her favorite kind of cake, Yuki has considered her a friend.   Aran Aethersmith (♦  ●  ✔) - Aran Aran, dubbed 'Trouble' by Fenrir, is a fun person to be around. However, due to their own accent, Yuki often has difficulties understanding what she's saying.   Hotaru Gin (♦  ●  ✔) - Gin Gin is one of the Medics of Aethertide, and as a fellow Doman, Yuki immediately made friends with her.   Koke Qalli (♦  ●  ✔) - Koke Another Au Ra, and a talented musician. Seeing this, Yuki immediately grew to like the man. I like to think I'm an understanding sort, and I generally let everyone do what they do.
