The pale skinned Keeper isn't all that tall, but she stands proudly, her arms more than often crossed as she closes herself off before others even attempt to converse with her. Her twilight black hair is an unkempt mess, matted in places while braided in others with remnants of green dye throughout. Her mismatched gaze is intense, unblinking when she focuses on her prey, or rather, the people who might speak with her. Her ears are ever alert, the long triangles soaking in information and sounds like little sonars - constantly flitting and swiveling. Her face is youthful, if scarred - though her expression is often stoic or non-existent, it is a rare occasion that her lips curl into a natural smile. She is also a lithe huntress, while muscled and toned, there is no excess bulk to her - she is built for speed, the ability to pounce instantly like an angered Coeurl. Scars & Markings: Rhela has several scars - as do most who grow up fighting for their lives. The most noticeable are the two on her face, one running over her right eye and one beneath her left. Like most Keepers, she also has her face paint applied at almost all times. Voice: Gruff, growly. When the tribal girl speaks, her words are carefully thought out. Slow. Methodical. Her trademark "Hrrnn.." is but her thoughtful pausing, but also that rumbling voice building like a wave. Clothing: Clothes? It is rare to see Rhela wearing anything but her armor. Be it her old hide and scale armor she wears while wielding her lance, or her new light mail she wears to wield her far eastern styled blade. She is one to utilize function over fashion. However, she has expanded her wardrobe recently and can be seen in plaid pants and a nice top while helping run Bar Saisei. Scent: Rhela's scent is a mixture of floral and nature scents from her treks, and probably some form of meat. Dried, smokey flavours often drift from a pouch that she opens to snack from regularly. She is definitely not one for perfumes. PersonalityPersonality Silent Observer Rhela's personality is an enigma. Both simple and complex, the huntress is stoic, calculating and ever watchful. She is more likely to stand with her back to a wall and give an unblinking stare than she is to approach someone. However, there are topics that will perk her interest and there have been moments when she even takes over a conversation with several rapid, curious questions. Rhela is a sponge for information - verbally, anyway. She loves to learn, and is enthralled by the subjects that she enjoys. However, the girl has minimal social experiences and barely says a word in large groups - fading into the background as she is content to listen and observe. If gently coaxed from her comfort, the Keeper is more than willing to open up to those who spend enough time to learn and accept her as she is. For family and friends, Rhela is a fierce protector and would sacrifice anything to keep them safe. Woe be the person who would attempt to cause harm to the people she cares for, because there is little forgiveness in the tribal Keeper. That rather emotionless face of hers changes little from person to person, and laughter is probably not in her vocabulary - even when she is happy, her face does not necessarily outwardly show it. Those who know Rhela very well though can notice the subtle changing of positions of her ears, the motions of her tail and for that one person in her life - the curling of the corners of her lips. ( ♥ ) - Family Matters. Character's Thoughts: "Kasi? She is very important. Hrrnn.. bother her and I will have to deal with you." Kasi is one of Rhela's first friends and one of the closest people to her. A family heirloom allowed Kasi to make the connection between the two, as they met on the road rather than growing up together. The pair have made up for lost time and Rhela is eternally grateful to have happened upon her sister. Fu Majime, Mate. ( ♥ ♥ ♦ ) - The Most Important Shape Character's Thoughts: "Hrrn.. I had.. never thought I would be capable of such feelings. Fu is the.. one who first made my heart feel on fire. I would do anything.. for her. Hrrn.. our shapes, are one." An unlikely union between two oft misunderstood individuals. They met through a mutual friend, saw themselves in each other and gradually over time, Fu managed to break through the shell Rhela had put up and found her heart. To the once reclusive and disinterested Rhela, Fu's importance in her life can't be described in words. Koh Jinjahl, Mate. ( ♥ ♥ ♦ ) - Treasure Hunter Character's Thoughts: "Koh has hrrn.. taught me much. Of myself, of my bonds." Koh and Fu had formed and bond and through transitive property, Rhela was also pulled into it. While she was weary at first, Rhela would give her life to protect Koh and loves the woman almost as much as her first love. Gehr'ir Ett, Addiction. ( ♥ ✔ ♦ ) - Sweet Release Character's Thoughts: "I hate Gehr'ir. He makes me hrrn.. feel things." Rhela and Gehr'ir have a history stretching back twelve moons or more - though there was a long separation in between. Their first meeting was less than friendly, their second reunion though has brought them much, much closer. Miir Raj'ar, First Friend. ( ♥ ♦ ) - "Smirking Shape." Character's Thoughts: "Hrrn.. Miir? She is.. one of my first friends." Miir has been a rather big influence on Rhela's life, even if she hasn't exactly realized it. The unique Seeker is constantly forcing the woman to push her limits and to experience new things in life. Without having met Miir, Rhela would have likely never met Fu. Aimee Mayuzuma, Motherly Figure. ( $ ✔ ♦ ) - The Bartender. Character's Thoughts: "She is kind. Understanding. Experienced. Aimee is hrrn.. Aimee. There is no other way to describe her." Rhela has met Aimee through her work at the Velvet Rose, and the white haired Elezen bartender has quickly earned Rhela's trust and respect with her wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with people. The woman continually amazes Rhela with her ability to seemingly sense peoples thoughts and produce the perfect drinks for them while holding a conversation effortlessly. They have since moved to Shirogane to create Katachi with Fu and Koh, while helping Aimee build her dream bar; Bar Saisei. Lihra Yanjahl, Sweetness. ( ♥ ✔ ♦ ) - Younger Yanjahl Character's Thoughts: "Lihra is.. myself. Hrrn. I believe I would be.. much the woman she is, had I hrrn.. been born a Yanjahl." Rhela and the younger Yanjahl have bonded quickly and strongly, though their relationship is just blossoming, it's likely to develop into one that Rhela is fiercely protective of. Veyha Yanjahl, Sister figure. ( ♥ ✔ ♦ ) - Elder Yanjahl Character's Thoughts: "Tachi reminds me so hrrn.. very much of Kasi. I respect her. Her strength. Aura. Hrrn.. her everything. I wish to one day.. command a room as easily as her." Rhela has known Tachi, or rather, Veyha for a long time. Introduced to her by Kasi, Veyha trained Rhela in more traditional senses early on - helping her develop into the capable warrior that she is now. They have recently reunited, and Rhela continues to admire the talented and mysterious woman with the utmost respect.
