Romero is an avid reader and enjoys books more than people most of the time. That isn't to say he'd never strike up a conversation, however, his voice can come across as "over it" at times. If a person has a good story to tell, Romero is all ears though. While he'd say he prefers to be alone with his books, if left alone for too long Romero will easily suffer from loneliness. This kind of hot and cold personality tends to leave people wondering how he really feels about them. Romero is not very open with his feelings (especially positive ones) and comes across "tsundere". Poke him enough though and he'll open up (if only to get you to stop poking). Romero enjoys stories, both fiction and non-fiction. He's a sucker for learning, and enjoys absorbing knowledge from his surroundings. While he likes to think he knows everything, Romero is eagar to learn something new from someone, no matter the skill. ... Except farming and botany. Romero has read too many fantastical stories about Voidsent and no amount of reading scholarly works about them has managed to assuage the fears that have built up towards them and what his brain imagines they'll do. Despite his fears (and his on/off nature), he's a reliable ally and will be there if you truly need him.
