Basic Info

K'lear is a very serious, cautious, and untrusting Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te. It's hard for him to find peace around others, especially Seeker Miqo'te males. He will keep himself secluded if he can, and watch from a distance. Despite being a Keeper he finds himself acting a lot like Tia when he is around others. If he is confronted he will attempt to make himself seem smaller so as to show he wants no trouble. However he does know how and will defend himself if need be. After leaving his hometown he finds himself accusing and offending people of false intentions.

Complexion: Light, bluish gray skin. Scars from past fights can be found along his body, especially his hands along his knuckles.

Hair: Dark blue with yellow tips, fairly long and oddly well kept.

Eyes: Silver

Particular Traits: A scar across his his face, right between his eyes, as well as scars all across his knuckles from punching dummies bare handed.

Voice: Lower undertones, a good singing voice.

Clothing Style: He likes to keep his body covered as much as he can for more protection, though her prefers lighter fabrics that are easy to breath and move around in. Hats and eye protection from the sun are good too.

Before Dalamud's Fall

Birth and childhood (0-10)

The boy was born to mixed parents. His mother, a Keeper of the Moon, and his father, a Seeker of the Sun. They lived with his father in Thanalan, which was tough for his mother who lived her whole life in the Shroud. She had left the Shroud and her tribe after finding that was pregnant with the Seeker's child. Lear was nineteen, and the father was twenty.

Though he took on the name of his mother, K'lear was raised as a Seeker, and there for brought up around them. Though he quickly learned just how different he was, as well it was made known to him by the other children. He slept a lot during the day and found himself staying awake during the night, usually staring at the moon. It came to a point that the other children started making fun of him, and even harrasing him physically. He started staying indoors and emotionally clinging to his mother, who told him about the other Keepers who lived in the shroud. He was taken to see them every so often, meeting one of his uncles and his son, a young boy named Nyali'a.

K'lear found he loved it in the Black Shroud. The Sha tribe was much more welcoming, he couldn't understand why his mother would leave such a nice place.

Teen Years (11-15)

He grew up going back and forth between the bullies of his Seeker home and his family with the Keepers. One day, after K'lear turned twelve, he and his mother found the Sha tribe gone, completely vanished. Even his cousin who he had come to know decently well. After that he had no choice but to stay in Thanalan with the Seekers. This tore K'lear apart. With no escape aside from his mother her found himself fighting with his peers far more often. He became stronger and angrier, releasing his rage on any who dared pick on him. One fight won him the scar he now wears across his face. An older boy thought it wise to bring a dagger to a fist fight. K'lear lost, having to retreat to his mother who cared for his injuries. His father decided it best to take him to the Pugilist guild, where K'lear could learn to better defend himself. If he was going to fight, he might as well do it right. He was thirteen. He was there for two years, before a tragedy befell Eorzea.

After Dalamud's Fall

Teen years (15-19)

With Thanalan half destroyed by Dalamud's fall K'lear had to put a pause on his training at the pugilists guild. In the wake of the Calamity he had a break from any judgmental children, though his heart was already hardened. He took to helping rebuild the land as best he could, practicing what he had learned on a tree near by his house, or what they had to consider a house for now. Their home had been completely wiped away by lesser moon. Now nearly homeless and broke K'lear began looking for jobs to help support his parents. Ul'dah was very unforgiving. With all the Ala Mihgan refugees there was no room for work anywhere. He couldn't afford to move outside of Thanalan. He tried again and again, finding only temporary jobs that paid barely enough for food.

A Realm Reborn

For two years things seemed to drag on. With no stable jobs K'lear and his father both struggled to keep food on the table. Times were very trying, until he met a blue skinned Miqo'te. Down on his luck K'lear turned to drinking at the Coffer and Coffin, where he was met by a blue skinned female Miqo'te named Miya. She was odd, spoke funny, though looked oddly similar to his mother. This must have effected him in some way, for her let her buy him a drink and talk him into going to Limsa Lominsa with her where he was introduced to Nel Turuphant and learned about the Celestial Forge. Having no skill in crafting anything he feared he would be of no use to them and thought to return to Thanalan, though they assured him he would be of use to them on the battle field. Skeptical of that as well, K'lear had little other choice. He accepted the job, where they began giving him missions. One such mission was to protect the very Miqo'te that had found him in the first place.
