Tall for an elezen, sure, but not towering. Dark, subdued, some may even say boring clothes. Nothing special. A closer inspection would reveal hints as to his personality. Notably, how neat and clean he always appears. Lionnet's clothes are always perfectly tailored, without tears or stains or wrinkles. His hair is kept short and neat, and his sideburns (perhaps his most iconic feature) neatly trimmed- no excess stubble. His skin is clear. He's rarely, if ever seen with even a spec of dirt on him. However, his attentiveness to being clean and orderly doesn't present itself in an overly flashy or "look at me, look at how good I look" sort of way. He doesn't try to stand in the spotlight- in fact, he avoids it altogether. Lionnet always looks tired. His face is set in a perpetual scowl, his eyes heavy-lidded and with permanent bags under them. He's thin, as most elezen tend to be, but even moreso. One could describe his weight as skinny. He's not especially muscular, the type that would have trouble hefting a greatsword or battleaxe. Scars & Markings: Like any soldier or warrior, Lionnet has his share of small scars, nicks and scratches. But nothing major, nothing that stands out. Save on his hands; they're covered in tiny cuts and scars. At any given time he has a pair of gloves on to cover them. Voice: Lionnet's voice is low, both in that it's somewhat deep and it isn't prone to carrying long distances. It's got somewhat of a husky quality. Clothing: Lionnet's wardrobe seems to consist entirely of black coats. Everything he owns seems to be achromatic, though occasionally he might be seen in a very, very dark blue coat. It's almost as if he wears the same clothes every day- but he doesn't! They're all different coats. Just almost always black, with black pants and boots. Maybe a white shirt or tie. Always black and white. Mundane, subdued. Never a bright color, flashy design, or eccentric outfit. Just simple, workable clothes. With a bend towards the stuffier, more formal side of things. His only bursts of color come in the form of the lenses on his glasses. He owns a pair of red and a pair of blue tinted glasses. Another constant in Lionnet's wardrobe is his gloves. He always has gloves on. They're usually a pristine white, but blacks and greys have occasionally made an appearance. Lionnet has at least two spare pairs hidden within his coat if his current gloves were to become soiled. He can often be seen fidgeting with his gloves, pulling them taught on his hands. Lionnet comes off immediately as someone cold, uncaring. Very serious, not very talkative. He speaks in a very polite, if monotone manner, very detached. To be frank, he's not a very likable person, going off first impressions. Given more time, however, his good points do show up- they're just buried a little deep. Lionnet is obsessed with his work. He must constantly improve his skills as a doctor, as a healer. He practices with alchemy every day, and often shows up to study or volunteer at local clinics and hospitals. To him, work and honing his own talents are the most important things, the forefront of his life. Friends, family- they're just a distraction, he'll say. They just take up time. Of course, this is not entirely true, as anyone who considers him a friend will attest. Very dedicated to his work as a healer, he has somewhat of an obsessive personality, valuing order in all things. He works himself to the bone, and is known to rarely, if ever, treat himself to anything special. He seems to believe he is undeserving of special treatment, and gifts and affection will make him uncomfortable. He is definitely a glass half empty type of person. Lionnet is not vocal about his inner troubles, choosing to always wear a mask of complete politeness and apathy. When all that is stripped away, Lionnet is quiet and contemplative. He genuinely cares for others, and pours himself out into his actions to heal and save lives. He's uncomfortable with expressing emotions and is relatively awkward in social situations. He enjoys wine, too. Religious Views: Born and bred a devout of Halone, he's been disillusioned in recent years due to the actions of the church and his prayers' lack of response. Hobbies: While Lionnet claims he has no time for hobbies, there are a few things that catch his interest. He's become a big fan of alchemy, since learning it, and mixes potions and poisons occasionally, instead of his normal curatives. He also enjoys reading. He's a sucker for a good book, especially mysteries. NPC Silvairre Blodoint (♥) ( NPC ) - Older Brother The oldest of the three Blodoint brothers, Silvairre can be credited with effectively raising the other two. A strong and silent type, always serious with his gaze fixed clearly straight ahead. The epitome of nobility, honor, and chivalry- or at least the appearance of it, Silvairre became the younger brothers' idol. They looked up to him immensely. Excelling in all forms of combat, when Silvairre joined the defenders of Ishgard officially he was quickly raised up in the rankings, killing his first dragon at age eighteen. He was a prime dragoon candidate, and yet remains as one, tirelessly defending Ishgard. Lionnet was influneced quite a bit more by his older brother than he'd like to admit, and there are some distinct similarities between the two. A young Lio would imitate Silv as often as possible. Ironically, although Silvairre is as handsome and chivalrous as they come, he is perhaps lacking in social skills more than Lionnet- if he has a sense of humor, none have seen it. All three Blodoint brothers shared a powerful bond that is as strong as ever between the two remaining, but communication is often sporadic and rare nowadays, as Lio and Silv pursue different paths in different places. If one calls, however, the other will come running. Drystan Blodoint ( ♥✖ ) ( NPC ) - Younger Brother The youngest Blodoint, Drystan had all the talents his older brothers' didn't have and none of the ones they did. Equipped with an infectious smile and a disarming demeanor, Drystan was always able to quell conflict within the family before it arose. The baby of the family, Drystan's life was one full of familial love and protection. Unfortunately, it was cut short. Although the young Blodoint had excellent charisma, a good heart, and a pure soul, he lacked the combative capabilities of Silv and the intellectual capabilities of Lio. Nonetheless, he was determined to join his brothers in defending his homeland, and was eventually assigned duty as a simple, low ranking guardsman. He was sadly killed during the war, on his first major assignment. Lio still hasn't forgiven himself, and more than likely neither has Silv. The young elezen's death drove a rut between the other two brothers' relationship, and its' ripples resulted in many changes of character. PC Alexandre Belliard (♦ ) ( PC ) - Doppelgänger An older elezen Lionnet met the Quicksand; a retired knight. Initially drawn to each other by the uncanny similarity in their appearances, the two soon hit it off, both being Ishgardian, and both being somewhat old-fashioned. Lio has stopped by to visit him occasionally, and seems to have decided that he will do everything in his power to help find the retired and stagnant Alexandre a job, or at least something to do. In contrast, Alexandre seems to have taken it upon himself to get Lio to loosen up, stop worrying so much, and relax. Milloux Allard (●) ( PC ) - Ashen Enclave A leader of the Ashen Enclave Clinic that Lio met when he popped in for a visit. The two exchanged linkpearls, with Lio hoping to be able to visit and assist the clinic in various matters, learning new skills and techniques in the process. Lafayette Moumadelle (●) ( PC ) - Mysterious Physician A fellow doctor Lio chanced upon in one of his first trips into the wider realms of Eorzea from Ishgard. Meeting in Ul'Dah, the two chatted and Lio was taken to visit Lafey's clinic. Lio's sphere of knowledge, for both social etiquette and general knowledge of Eorzea at large, failed him, and he left feeling like a foolish child. He hopes to meet Lafayette again one day, and fix his failure of a first impression. She seemed like a very interesting person. Adelise De'bayle (● ) ( PC ) - House De'bayle Lio was initially drawn to House De'bayle for two reasons: it was an Ishgardian noble house in Gridania, and it had a bakery that made real Ishgardian knight's bread. The Ishgardian culture-deprived Lio has since made a few trips, leaving with a loaf of bread or three every time. Adelise is the only member of the De'bayle family proper Lio has met, and seen around. He is very skeptical of her, finding her somewhat unnerving, like she's hiding something. Her baby wyvern doesn't help matters, leading him to instinctively not trust the woman. Killian Waltz ( ●) ( PC ) - House De'bayle One of the people Lio has chatted with at House De'bayle. A fellow healer, Killian strikes Lio as someone friendly and worth chatting with, but also distinctly odd. Gregor Stormborne (● ) ( PC ) - House De'bayle One of the people Lionnet has met at House De'bayle. He reminds Lio somewhat of Silvairre.
