Basic Introduction

Sarcire Sinclair, an individual who aspired towards notoriety until it almost brought about her ruin. Now she seeks to hide in the shadows - while she might hide in plain side; her thoughts, feelings and plans remain a mystery even to her limited number of acquaintances.

Personality

Sarcire Sinclair is a woman who is ruled by logic; her heart will take a back seat to what her mind might dictate. Once an arrogant and reckless individual, she has now 'reformed' into a being capable of greater 'consideration' for those around her.

A capable business woman, Sarcire has a talent for numbers and is more than happy to barter her way to a bargain. She can recognise an individual's potential at a glance; and their value with a small amount of observation. She has no inclination to get her own hands dirty, or to sully her name publicly, but she will be the first to call in mercenaries or adventures if she requires it. Shrewd, she isn't one to be crossed or tricked, granted it isn't impossible to trick her, but you will be subject to her ire should you succeed!

On the surface; Sarcire appears to favour wealth, vanity and status above all else. However, should you be 'worthy' by her standards, you may gain her respect and with it her loyalty - a 'status' that promises more warmth than many would consider possible.

Appearance

Sarcire is an individual who had luck on her side when she was born; she is above average in terms of her appearance and might be described by some as pretty if she were to take their fancy. Tall by Hyur standards, she takes after her father in height, while she clearly favoured her mother in build. Slight through lack of strenuous activity, she has a lithe form that belies her inclinations towards magic as opposed to martial exertion. That isn't to say she is unfit, the woman is more than capable of walking a fair distance, but she would have quite a bit of difficulty attempting to lift any type of battle axe... nor would she even attempt to.

She favours ornate attire, something that gives a 'statement' and reinforces her status. However, while it might be ornate it must also fall into line with a number of other requirements - it must be form fitting, it mustn't be to garish and it mustn't blind the eyes. For this reason she will rarely go sunny colours, favouring a darker attire with accents or trimmings.

• Skin Tone: Pale, occasionally a light tan during extended periods in Ul'dah.

Temporary/Abnormal Features

There will be periods during roleplay where Sarcire might exhibit unusual markings due to a subsequent part of her plot line. These markings are harmless and are for 'display', however their appearance may indicate the current state of her health. From an IC stand point a player will only see the markings that appear on her face. Depending on her condition, they will vary in size and severity.

Rune Markings:

• Meditating (Common)

Majority of markings appear around the eyes in an egyptian-esque design. They are inclined to glow during evenings of low light but would look like normal tattoos from a distance. Often dismissed ICly as ceremonial 'paint' by Sarcire.

• Weakened (Unusual)

The markings will begin to twist and coil away from the eyes to cover the cheeks and forehead, on more severe occasions these markings will be seen to press against the lips and cause her lips to darken. During this period she will exhibit signs of fatigue but will again endeavour to dismiss it as 'paint'.

• Severely Weakened (Rare)

The markings that are usually only visible upon her face will sweep across her entire body, in dim light she will radiate with a bizarre glow. During these periods she exhibits extreme weakness and will generally dismiss herself from the company of others. It is highly unlikely that she will ever be seen in this state.

Acquaintances

Sarcire is inclined to keep her notoriety low following previous interactions with certain individuals, as such, there are only a select few remaining individuals who are currently aware of who she is. Some have a deeper understanding of her than others...
