Though his emotional state may have plummeted as Nox seemingly took off on a trip to Ishgard for the sole purpose of avoiding his shift into her fear of his new form, he never lost faith that she'd return, and she did. An emotional reunion followed by shed tears on both parties, he confessed his frail state since her departure. Her own admitting of her missing him whilst she was away brought a smile to his face; it seemed she was willing to work on her fear of Miqo'te for him. Despite his curiosity towards how a conversation with one man seemed to immediately dissipate her questioning feelings towards him, Oliver is nevertheless happy. He is her ship, and she is his captain; he loves her more than he knows how to express. If she would have him, he truly believes he could happily spend the rest of his days with her. He fears her power, yet at the same time, he understands her words, her reasoning. This is who she is. Everyone knew that from the beginning, but that hasn't stopped everyone from being impacted by her transformation. When he looks into her eyes his deepest fears eat at him, tempting him to accept the woman before him. While the practice he had done has helped so far, he can't imagine his luck will last forever. He cannot allow her to enthrall him; not now, just as he's reaching peace with Nox. Perhaps his fears are unjustified, given she claims no desire for him. Nevertheless, he looks over his shoulder from time to time, wary of being cornered. This has only grown more and more true after Reijin's warning, with him watching, almost paranoid. GENERAL INFORMATION

Oliver Amaranth Oliver Amaranth is a Keeper of the Moon that was born and raised in Ul’dah for the first half of his life, but fled to the pirate city of Limsa Lominsa early on. Most of this time was spent alone, but as time went on, he opened up towards others and would eventually become known for his sharp tongue, sharp shot, and love for Au’Ri. By now, he's got a relatively large circle of friends, most of which the crew of ship is comprised with.


APPEARANCE

Long black hair falling past his neck in the back and bangs that often fall before his eyes, Oliver's appearance alone gives off an impression of a barrier between him and the world; a barrier that isn't actually quite there. Beneath his relatively thick hair, however, is a man whose face is actually well kept. Free of any blemishes, his face as a whole is clear as the sky on a sunny day. In the shade, his eyes look almost black, yet with enough lighting their true deep blue color is revealed. Aside from his facial features, Oliver is a mostly average Keeper. He stands at approximately five-foot, eight-inches. He's relatively thin, but when without clothes, one can see the growing amount of lean muscle he has, as well as the outline of what appears to be abs growing in, touching it would confirm such a thought, and, although he won't boast about it, he is relatively proud of the muscle. As of recently, however, he does seem to have been growing a bit more in muscle mass; nothing quite spectacular, but the change is evident.


PERSONALITY

Stubborn. Guarded. Loving.

Socially, Oliver has changed immensely in just a short few months. Snarky, stubborn, and quite a bit cynical, he's the kind of man that can annoy someone as easily as he can befriend them. To most, he's quite the gentleman, even with his overly sarcastic demeanor. Yet to some, he's simply the king of snark. The woman closest to him since Al's death, Madam Seraphine, a woman that hated him before she learned to like him, is the best example of such. For the most part, Oliver is content with his life. He can actually be described as a bit of an optimist, despite his pragmatic tendencies. He puts a lot of faith in the people close to him, perhaps even when he shouldn't. Because he's stubborn as all hells, he tends to go down with the ship, so to speak. Putting all of his eggs in one basket doesn't help this, but he's aware of this habit learning from this mistake. Even if a bit slowly, though his overly emotional attitude certainly isn't helping. Contrary to his nonchalant outward appearance, Oliver's mind is always racing. He pays attention to some of the smallest details in a person and draws presumptions based upon them, usually accurately. His mind is as sharp as his tongue can be.

STRENGTHS

Marksmanship. Aside from his snark, Oliver is known to be a crackshot when wielding either bow or gun.

Agile. Both to enhance his shot and shield his weakness, in combat, Oliver moves with incredible agility. Hitting him at his peak can be quite a challenge.

Analytical. Though perhaps not the first impression one may make of him (by his own choice), Oli is usually quite capable of playing his cards to the bigger picture, rather than what lies before him.

Bold. Over time, Nox has come to help Oliver discover the strength within himself. While still present, his insecurities have (for the most part) been pushed aside in favor of what he desires.

WEAKNESSES

Impulsive. Despite being fully aware of the consequences for his actions, Oliver tends to do what he wants. Thankfully, he doesn't usually ask for much.

Spiteful. While not to the unacquainted or friends, Oliver can be quite spiteful towards those who badly impress. Often, this is what gets him into trouble.

Close-Quarters-Combat. Even if he isn't as helpless as he used to be when one enters his range, that doesn't stop him from being increasingly vulnerable as the gap is closed.

Isolation.. Regardless of how independent Oliver may be, he still has an overwhelming fear that he'll be deserted by the ones he loes yet again.

CHANGING THE COLOR SCHEME To change the color scheme of this wiki, copy the wiki code into a document. Using the find and replace feature, exchange each of these color keywords (i.e. ‘PRIMARY COLOR’, ‘SECONDARY COLOR’, etc.) with a six digit/letter hex code for the color of your choice (i.e. ‘FFFFFF’, ‘000000’, etc.). Remember that when you are writing blocks of text and wish to break them into a new paragraph, use new

tags. Otherwise, the text will tender as one paragraph or break.
