CURRENT INVENTORY This is a list of the items that Anirito currently is keeping on her. Large Rucksack: Ani keeps a large, rose-pink rucksack on her at all times which contains a variety of what she considers to be necessities for every day life. Sweets: Most of her candy is kept in the aforementioned rucksack, with pretty much every variety you can imagine present in a small amount. That said, she keeps a few small pieces in a hidden compartment in each sleeve for convincing people (particularly Soren) that candy comes from people. Generally, these are small peppermints, bubble chocolates, and the like. Trashy Romance Novel(s): At any given time, Ani keeps 1-3 cheap romance novels in her rucksack "in case of emergency." These tend to be on the racier side of things, and nearly all have covers with tall, well-built men or women practically amazonian in proportion. She tends to prefer Thunder spells, but still observes the importance of having a varied arsenal of spells available to her. White Magic Healing is less Ani's cup of tea, but she's managed to become reasonably skilled at White Magic, even if she generally chooses not to use it except to save her own skin in the absolute worst-case scenarios. Arcana If she were to be honest, the complexity and tactical nature of scholarly magic isn't something Ani particularly enjoys. In fact, the only reason she has a Scholar's Soulstone to begin with is because she won one (and a fairy) in a game of dice. She did manage to earn herself a Summoner's Soulstone, but she doesn't find it as interesting as Black Magic, and as such, rarely uses her knowledge of that particular field. Astromancy To be determined when I actually do the AST quests eventually. Oops. BACKSTORY In a small fishing town near Aleport, there once lived a fairly ordinary Hyuran woman by the name of Annabell Stone. She wasn't particularly attractive, nor particularly wealthy, nor particularly strong, nor particularly fast. What she was, was particularly good at magic, not that it counted for much in a town full of sea-faring folk where your worth was judged by how good you were with rigging, or navigation, or rowing, or any number of things she had no skill for. Then one fateful day, she ran into someone who would change her life forever -- a visiting Lalafellian sailor. He immediately struck her as out of place, and she watched him curiously. To her surprise, he seemed to get away with anything he wanted on virtue of being cute and innocent-looking. She found herself instantly envious -- he received all sorts of affection she could only dream of. Sick of spurned advances, she set out to change her fate with that sailor in mind. After years and years of research, and plenty of bribes and favours, she managed to find a tome of ancient magics that would allow one to alter their form. She set up the ritual, performing everything to the letter, and that evening, an adorable Lalafell checked out of the inn room a Hyur had rented. ( 🔃 ) Ani’s Thoughts: "He's too serious and needs to lighten up." Ru and Ani have only spoken once, and only briefly, but he came across as a bit of a stick-in-the-mud, albeit one with an interesting story he wouldn't share. He warned her away from the 2-year-old, but honestly, what fun are 2-year-olds anyway? Aetheria Crescent, partner in crime. ( ♥ ✔ ) Ani’s Thoughts: "SHE'S MY BESTEST FRIEND EVER SHE'S BASICALLY ME BUT A KITTY!" Ani met Aetheria in the Quicksand after having been warned away from her by another member of the FC "for the good of all of Eorzea." The two instantly hit it off, and tend to cause chaos whenever they're in the same place together. Harmona Wiltfang, giver of divine hugs. ( ♥ ✔ ) Ani’s Thoughts: "Melonboobs gives the most amazing hugs ever.. They're just perfection incarnate! Also, 11/10 butt!" Ani met Harmona through Aetheria, and discovered that the moniker Melonboobs was quite accurate. To her delight, Harmona had a tendency to envelop lalafells in her cleavage in hugs, a fact Ani's taken full advantage of, demanding at least one hug daily. It's largely for this reason that Ani's started learning how to hold her breath for longer, so she can enjoy the hugs for longer without having to resurface for air. Hiromi Hiten, FC member. ( ● ) Ani’s Thoughts: "Miss Shy Dragon Lady? She's alright, though she doesn't play along very well." Hiromi and Ani met one day in Lion Order's FC House. Despite Ani's natural tendency for perversion, she realized quite quickly that it wouldn't be any fun around Hiromi, and took a more serious attitude with her. The two talked for a while with Harmona, and eventually Hiromi's relationship with a Grumpy Kitty came up. Ani persuaded her to act on her feelings, and to this day takes full credit for the two's pending wedding. Soren Arashi*, professional lap provider. ( ♥ ✔ ) Ani’s Thoughts: "Mister Comfy Lap has the single most comfortable lap in all of Eorzea!" During one of Ani's many excursions to the Quicksand, she stumbled upon easily one of the most beautiful and elegant Elezen she'd ever seen. Her immediate reaction was to hop in his lap and monopolize his attention, and fortunately, he didn't seem to mind the intrusion. She has since convinced him through some sleight of hand and trickery that candy comes from people, a "fact" she happily uses as an excuse to dig around in his pockets or under his skirt, on rare occasions. Though she doesn't technically know his name, that doesn't bother her, as she's perfectly happy to refer to him as Mister Comfy Lap. D'sol Rhedigo, Soren's friend. ( ● ) Ani’s Thoughts: "Mister Braidy Kitty is interesting. His lap isn't as good as Mister Comfy Lap's, but he's a great picker-upper!" D'sol and Ani met through their mutual acquaintance, Soren Arashi. Ani quickly judged D'sol's lap to be not as comfortable as Soren, but bestowed upon him the role of 'Picker Upper' after he whisked her up and turned her around. Now, she's more inclined to view him as a walking roller-coaster... Aedh Duskhawk, Mister Mean Man. ( ♥ ✔ ) Ani’s Thoughts: "BEST. LAP. EVER!" Ani and Aedh started off on the wrong foot; Aedh offered her a pillow to ease her discomfort caused by sitting on boxes, and she thought he was a schemer in league with one of her rivals at the Thaumaturgist's Guild. Through some timely intervention by X'ammeha and Soren, Ani got over her indignation and got to know Aedh better. She soon discovered that his lap surpassed even Soren's in levels of comfort, though admittedly he lost points for not being quite as pretty as the Elezen. X'ammeha Rose, Miss Pink-Haired Hero. ( ♥ ✔ 🔒 ) Ani’s Thoughts: "She is the hero we all need!" Ani's brief feud with Aedh was solved by X'ammeha testing the pillow for Ani and proving it not to be some sort of mean, booby-trapped prank. Ani quickly proclaimed her a hero, which continued to prove true as the Miqo'te fetched her a drink later on in the night so she wouldn't have to move. Morrick Malkavian, nickname or alias.
