H A B I T S  &  S K I L L S Quirks/Vices ■ Altruistic -- Arnvidar is altruistic to a fault, always doing everything he can to help people, even those who have wronged him severely. He gives most of his income to the poor, but he will also seek to redeem the ne'er-do-wells of this world. Which has resulted in more than a few scars when this goodwill has been exploited. ■ Fighter -- There is no denying at all that Arnvidar LOVES a good fight! He can sometimes be found at local fight clubs, or dishing out a bit of vigilante justice on the streets of Ul'dah. Arn also has a habit of never declining a challenge once it has been issued. ■ Protective -- While Arnvidar himself holds the opinion of "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger " and will rarely provide assistance unless someone asks for it directly (provided the person in question seems to be able to handle it in the first place, of course ), this does not always apply to his family. He is protective of his sisters, bordering on over-protective. Having lost their parents at a young age, Arnvidar has no intention of losing more family than he already has, and would willingly throw himself in front of any and all dangers that threaten Nailah or Ophelia. He also has a bad habit of trying to intimidate any potential suitors the two find. ■ (Placeholder) -- (Placeholder) Abilities/Skills ■ Martial Arts -- Having spent the vast majority of his life trying to master using his own body as a weapon, Arnvidar is an extremely talented hand-to-hand fighter, proficient in a number of fighting styles. ■ Chakra -- Being a monk with years of training and experience, Arnvidar is able to open up a number of Chakra "Gates" in order to increase his own combat capabilities. ■ Inner Workings -- He has over the years gained a complete knowledge on how the bodies of the different races work, memorising every aspect about them. ■ (Placeholder) -- (Placeholder)

■ Spirituality/Religion. Arnvidar is a devout follower of Rhalgr the Destroyer, but has a view that might differ from other followers. He has met many people claiming to seek to use the strength granted by Rhalgr to annihilate all who opposes their teachings. Arn however sees his strength and abilities as a way to make the world a better place, only ever using lethal force when absolutely forced to.

■ Politics. While not an active player when it comes to politics, Arnvidar knows how he wants things to be but he realises that he is no politician so it is best to leave that to those better suited for the task. If someone engages him in a discussion about the topic however, he will be able to talk at lengths.

A P P E A R A N C E

■ Body: Arnvidar's body is in extremely good shape for a person his age, with very defined musculature even for a Highlander. It would certainly be obvious to anyone who sees him that this man is more than capable to handle himself in many dangerous situations. ■ Skin: His skin is of a lightly tanned hue, with scars being dotten all over his body. ■ Hair: Dark red by nature, Arnvidar's hair is more often than not kept tied up into a number of braids to keep it under control and not get in the way. ■ Eyes: The eyes of this Highlander are of a cold pale blue colour. They often give out a feeling of warmth and friendliness however, offering a sense of security to those around him. Or so he hopes atleast.

■ Clothes: He has been likened to a Chocobo on more than one occation. Arnvidar proudly bears the yellow colours of the monkhood even when not in uniform. When he is dressed as a civilian, he keeps his attire simple and unimpressive as he willingly lives on a minimal budget. ■ Jewelry: Arnvidar only owns a single piece of jewelry, a necklace he was given during his childhood. ■ Distinguishing Features: Other than the vibrant yellow he dress in, his size might be the most defining feature about him. Otherwise he looks just like anyone else, not wanting to stick out in a crowd. ■ Other: (Placeholder)

R E L A T I O N S   Nailah Quill (  ♥  ♥ ) - Nai Arnvidar's youngest sister, and part of the leadership of The Kindred. Arnvidar is very proud of Nailah and her achievements, but he has recently noticed that his over-protective side has to work overtime whenever he's around her as she always seem to have atleast one person hitting on her. And in one case even made an attempt at her life. He knows that she is more than capable to handle herself however and tries to not interfere with her private life unless he really needs to. If he succeeds in stopping himself is a whole other story however, but he always has the well-being of Nailah in mind.   Ophelia Gale (  ♥  ♥ ) - Niamh Younger sister of Arn, and Nailah's older sister. They were both placed at the same orphanage in Ul'dah after the fall of Ala Mhigo but were adopted into different families. Despite the distance between them, they kept in contact by way of written mail. She has been through more traumatic moments than any person should have to endure, and Arn will therefore do anything in his power to keep her safe and sound.   Aliandrielle Naveleal (  ✔  ♦  ♠  ♥ ) - Green If you ask Arnvidar about Aliandrielle he will most likely tell you that she is a good friend of his, as well as the only person in a very long time that's beaten him in a sparring match. What he won't tell you however is that while he does consider her his most trusted of friends, there is something more to it than that. It didn't take long after the two meeting each other for Arn to start developing feelings for the Elezen, but she seemed to be so against the very concept of relationships that he decided to let things fall were they would. He does fear for her however, as she harbours a lot of unresolved pain and fear which he tries to help her overcome. How that turns out remains to be seen.   O'maelia Rhan (  ♦  ✔ ) - Determined Student A young Miqo'te with a determination that rivals Arn's own. He had met her a couple of times but never thought much of her. Sure, she seemed nice and helpful to those around her, and Arn quite liked her. She seemed to be what the company needed. It wasn't until he saw her wearing an outfit which looked a whole lot like the clothes belonging to a monk that she caught his attention. He found out that she wished to become a monk to help protect herself and those around her. A goal which Arn related to more than enough to start consider her as his first student. After a short while, and a lot of amusement from Arn's side, O'maelia finally learned that Arn was indeed a monk himself, and he accepted her under his wings.   Ranic Iriq (  ●  ✖ ) - (Placeholder) Arnvidar never truly liked Ranic in life, believing him a single-minded brute. The Highlander would also admit that this opinion could have been swayed, had the two only had more chances to speak eye to eye before Ranic's untimely death. Upon seeing peoples' reactions to the Xaela's death, Arnvidar began realising that perhaps he had been more mistaken than he first thought when it came to Ranic. While in the end he did respect the sacrifice made by the berserker, he wasn't about to mourn him.   Cirina Malqir (  ✔  ● ) - (Placeholder) Ah yes, Cirina. A member of the Kindred Council. This Au Ra might be small in stature, but definately not in strength. Arnvidar holds a certain respect for her, always having treated him pleasantly despite their limited interactions. It wasn't until he saw her snap at a few other members of the Kindred that he realised that if Nailah ever were to give up her position as the de facto leader of the Kindred, Cirina is the person Arnvidar would vouch highest for to fill that position.   (Placeholder) ( ) - (Placeholder) (Placeholder)
