P E R S O N A L I T Y

Diligent by nature, Kahran may come off as cold or standoffish. He seems to truly dislike the presence of overly cheery people, but he does not fend anyone away. He is calm, calculated, and stoic, poised perfectly for the role of an officer. He is not above addressing concerns of those who need is help, despite what his terse nature might imply. At times, he almost seems like an inhuman sentinel, though occasionally a glimmer of compassion and emotion break through to the surface. Unfortunately, what one sees is mostly what one gets. Kahran does not become very warm the longer he knows a person. He does, however, open up to questions once one has proven themselves trust worthy, interesting, or an equal in battle or virtue. He has a great respect for those with honor and constitution, and if a person proves to be a worthy leader with a good cause, he will offer his abilities to aid them, so long as it does not cause harm to his homeland of Garlemand.

A P P E A R A N C E

Kahran is a somewhat tall Midlander Hyur with a lean, but muscular build. He often wears heavy armor, but favors trench coats and tailors linens when not in battle. His hair is a very pale blonde, almost like cream, which is cut to just below his cheekbones. It often rests in an obscuring fashion over his gold eyes, which are strikingly bright, almost as if they glow. He has somewhat gaunt features, and his resting expression is one of cold indifference.

L I K E S ■ Solitude. Ramsus finds peace in solitude, often going out of his way to avoid crowds. ■ Duty. Ramsus enjoys having orders to follow and a reason to follow them. ■ Skill. Ramsus has a true appreciation for those who hone their craft, be it battle, craft, or gathering.

D I S L I K E S ■ Sanctimony. Using religion as a tool to further one's agenda is reprehensible to him. ■ Religion. Outdated and dangerous. The fixation with The Twelve is the cause of this chaos. ■ Manipulation. From personal experience, Ramsus has grown to despise any attempts.

Q U I R K S ■ Face Twitches. A telling habit of his lips twitching or his eyes squinting, giving away an emotion. ■ Weapon Care. He obsesses over his weapons being kept in absolutely perfect condition. ■ Blushing. When you manage to make him blush, he's red from ear to ear. It stands out on pale skin.

N P C   Legatus Nael van Darnus (   ✖  ✔  ♥ ) ( NPC ) - The White Raven His superior officer, as well as the man who commissioned his creation and destruction. Ramsus has a complex relationship with the now dead Garlean. He respected the man he once was, even loved him, but now recognizes his insanity, and ultimately feels stupid and reckless for having been so willingly blind to his true intentions. He is still uncertain if he was being manipulated by him through mentally conditioned keywords, making his feelings all the more mixed.   Momodi (   ♦ ) ( NPC ) - The Quicksand Tavernkeeper After the Calamity, Ramsus wandered from Mor Dhona to the Thanalan, aimless and hoping to die from exposure to the harsh sun. He fainted beside the road, and was found by Momodi on her way back to Ul'Dah. She took him in and nursed him back to health, despite he wishes against it. When she eventually found out his identity, she looked hard into his eyes, told him he'd paid enough for his crimes, and agreed to keep it a secret, so long as he agreed to help people no matter their citizenship. He will always do favors for her, when she needs him.

P C   J'bhal Nunh (   ♠  ● ) - The Pirate In their short meeting, Ramsus knew two things about the Miqo'te. 1: He was as annoying as he was skilled with a gun. 2: He was far too interested in ancient artifacts to be a mere pirate. He dislikes pirates on principle, and J'bhal certainly didn't make it any harder to dislike him when he tried to flirt with him. Ramsus views him as a confusing man, who has no idea whether he wants to be an honorable scholar or pub scum.   Mar'khas Sol (   ● ) - The Double Agent In the midst of trying to fend off a group of Amal'jaa from a village, Ramsus found himself suddenly assisted by a young Miqo'te, who was nearly as energetic as a cub. He was a talaneted fighter, and won Ramsus' respect when he managed to take down the leader of the group with a mere two swings. He can tell there is something more to the lad, but he will not ask questions unwarranted. He instead chose to bid him farewell, and only hours later and malms away did he realize the bastard had stolen his coin purse.
