In the case that anyone was to look at her eyes, they would feel the effects of them. How influential they are to each person is up to the PC. But generally, these are the descriptions given to each person to react to. The first being for men and the second being for women.

Eyes of the Enthralled ♂ If you were to look into her eyes, you would feel the creeping of voices—whispers digging into the back of your mind. They would grow louder and louder the longer you stared, as if they were pulling your curiosity. Gentle, sweet voices they were, filling your mind and touching your heart as they spoke to your interests, gradually prying into your temptations. You stare on, those voices convincing you that she met your interests, tickled your temptations. Further still, the voices would send waves of pleasure to your core, strumming against your sexual desires, cooing-- coddling-- Any resistance, the voices would doubt you, doubt anything that could pull you away from them, that would raise your guard and defenses. The bombardment would increase in intensity the longer you stared. Could you pry away? A constant taunt.

Further still, the voices would send waves of fright to your core, plucking at what terrorized you to shake you, blaming-- screaming-- Any resistance, the voices would only validate your sins, validate that you are evil, that you are worth nothing but death. The bombardment would increase in intensity the longer you stared. Could you pry away? A constant taunt.

  The Forbidden Tomes

History Born from Sin Born different amongst the others of the realm, Seraphine’s birth was a tragic one. Her mother seduced and was impregnated by a priest of Nymeia named Saint James Fletcher. In the eyes of the goddess, this was a crime against her and believing it was just, she cursed the child that was to be born. In hatred over this, Bellatrix burned down the Nymeian church in the North Shroud in retaliation. Growing up in the Void proved difficult as well; aside from looking much different than the others, many of the voldlings challenged her. Many of them did not succeed, only growing to Sera’s power—just like her mother. As the years moved on, she continued to grow and learn of the mortal realm, preparing herself to comply to her curse. At eighteen, she left the Void and started to serve a multitude of people, traveling across the realm. The White Void For a while she became masterless, wandering around until she reached Ishgard. There she was taken in by the Lord of the Duredaire House. She served them for multiple years, seeing Lords die, children born, and heirs rise. From these children, she grew fond of Nenanie Durendaire, often found at her side throughout the city and manor. They grew close after a certain event, revealing to the teen of Sera’s true nature. Instead of death, Neena protected her from then on. All was well during her stay, minus a few incidents amongst knights and other visitors of the manor. It wasn’t until Neena’s adulthood that things turned for the worse. She left to follow her mother’s footsteps against her father, and as a result, Sera was forced to stay with Lord Durendaire. Not until the war worsen. Sera was sent to the other city-states for supplies, ordered not to return until her tasks were completed or if anything bad were to arise. Welcome to the End Reaching Gridania was the after so long brought back some memories. Awful ones. But it wasn’t too bad after blending in as an adventurer; a novice archer. She stayed a few months before leaving the place for good, seeing that the officers were taking more notice. From there she settled in Ul’dah, taking aid from the Thaumaturge Guild. With their aid, Sera started her mission on getting necessities but as a bonus, she found her missing master. The Void Says Hello Many moons and many friends, it was safe to say that she was settling in fine in the city-states-- was safe to say. After much happening, part of her curse was broken along with her body and she retained a new one-- her true form. With it came some unexpected changes in personality, demeanor, and most importantly her looks. Seem like all involved with her now will have trouble adjusting to the angsty teen-- and most have, though a few seemed to be more troubled by it than others. It eventually ended with more conflict within herself and more harm than good. And the uprising of some unfamiliar faces... Death Blossoms It seemed like years passed as Seraphine finally got herself together-- only to face the end crushing her into nothing but dust. With her friend, she fought one of the biggest threats to the Void-- only to kill her and then endangering herself. And ultimately dying. But to her and her sister's surprise, another large threat saved them just in time to return to their home to recover, and not gone forever. With recovering came highs and lows-- her curse finally gone, but opening up other problems, which led to her returning to the mortal realm and secluding herself. Until an unexpected person found her...

RP Hooks She's a Voidsent! She's always doing something mischievious-- rather something big like charming unsuspecting men, or rather small like stealing cookies from children. She can't help but dabble in her natural tendencies; the scent of trouble pulling her towards it and finding something to do. She is a Pirate--Sort of. Despite current relations with her captain, she is still a part of a pirate crew. Her position amongst the crew is unknown; one could guess entertainment or torture of prisoners of war. Or even the crew's mascot! Who's to say really? She is affliated with House Durendaire of Ishgard. She was a handmadien of the high house, and to this day, people still see her as such amongst the city. Being the Count's main servant, Sera has a bit of influence amongst the Durendaire knights and dragoons-- this stretches to the Observatorium as well. She is Hungry. As a succubus, hunger is a big thing for her. Not easily sated like other Voidsents roaming around. Most of her time, she's hunting around for her next meal, eyeing those that could be a quick and satisfying bite. Rather it be a harsh bite, a soft kiss, or more behind closed doors-- she is prowling. She works with the Alchemist Guild. She constantly give donations to the ever-needy guild; giving the rarer materials that they desire. Current Arc Alive... Really alive... The first breath of the frosted air and in a new body, it seems like the dead has arisen. Arisen and confused with new things floating in her head. After hiding for what feels like years, it was time to slowly move back into society. But will it be that easy?

The icy shape-shifter had done more than enough to be a permanent pain in her backside. At first, she was just a entity for the young succubus to be wary about. But not she's deemed the enemy to not just Sera's mother, oh no. But Sera herself. ▲ Bellatrix the Maddening ( ♡ ★ ) - Mother Bellatrix is an elder voidsent in the fouth rung of the Void, and the mother of Seraphine. Whilst among the mortal realm, she seduced a Nymian priest and ultimately got pregnant. Because he was such a priest, the goddess herself did not like this and damned the unborn child. And in return, the succubus torched down all of her churches. Unlike most succubi, this woman lusted more for blood and battle, often starting mass wars. Her mutation shows this; the lavander hair and red eyes a trophy for her maddening hunger. Still, being as she is, she has a unbreaking soft spot for her daughter, and wishes to see her again. ▲ Rosckalakof ( ★ ) - The Red King At first a very wary person, Rosck has been more than an ally to Sera. Worldly and daunting, the Elder Voidsent as expressed his thoughts and concerns-- and even delights-- to her and her friends. Not to mention some sort of hidden relationship with her mother he has. For the good or bad, she doesn't want to know what it is.

*She was named "Seraphine" after an indigenous crystal found in the Void. The scientific name is "Violacei invidiæ" meaning "violet envy". Rare in nature, they're found in clusters and react to touches of any kind; physical or through aether. Closely compared to amethyst.

*The Void and its residence use a native language. It's real-life counterpart being Latin. You would catch her using such language when explaining terms of the Void or speaking with her mother.

*The lavander hair and red eye are a genetic mutation from her mother, inhertited onto her. The white eye dawned on her from a previous curse. Succubi and incubi's natural colorings are black hair and yellow eyes; much seen within Haukke Manor.
