He also has something of a thin and frail look to him. This is because of his illness he has had most of his life. While he eats plenty and isn't under weight he still seems to be rather weak. This isn't entirely false. His hair is lavender and his right eye is green. His left used to be blind however after an aetheric explosion his vision in both eyes was restored however his left one can now see in aether trails. Wears a blindfold over the aether eye. Scars & Markings: Lerran has a scar from his childhood along his nose, he also has a scar up his left eye and aetheric brand on that side of his face. Voice: Voice Claim Here Clothing: When out in a battlefield Lerran wears a heavy jacket with some chain mail under it. It protects him well during combat and is well insulated to keep him warm if he is in a cold climate. It is a bit difficult to wear in warmer regions but he manages. When at home or in a relaxed setting he tends to wear just comfortable clothes. Lerran hates being anything particular fancy or ornate, and dressing for comfort or practicality and often forgoing style has led him to be called a hobo-healer. Lerran is rather gruff and curt, unlike many healers. He doesn't really beat around the bush and you always know where you stand with him. Some people think he's mean, others say he's nice and honest but just has no tact. Either way Lerran does like to help but can also be very stubborn and let people suffer for their idiocy. Secrets are something he takes very seriously and if someone confides in him he won't divulge the information except in the most dire situations. He is an all around good man who has been through a lot and doesn't want to deal with excess trouble. NPC (And Alts) His Parents ( ♥ ♠ ) ( NPC ) - Shithead Parents Lerran's parents have left a strong distaste in Lerran. While loving and protective to start, they were strongly burdened by his poor health. The burden of taking care of a child who was constantly ill, and yet somehow survived against all odds was to much for them and their relationship. Eventually the decided to send Lerran to his aunt and uncles in Gridania unable to bear taking care of him any longer. This happened when he was ten, and he has thus far (at 30 years) refused to speak to them again and hardly even speaks of them. Father: Dalmas Nemas Mother: Tieve Nemas Other Family ( ♥ ) ( NPC ) - His Family Lerran's aunt and uncle (on his fathers side) and their children. His uncle is a midlander and his aunt is a highlander. Their family took Lerran into their Gridanian home when Lerran was ten, despite already having five children and barely enough resources to take care of everyone. They managed to handle everything, with help from the Conjurers Guild and a Padjal named O-Sane-Cant, and keep Lerran in good health. Mostly. Uncle: Albin Nemas Aunt: Gerhild Blackburn-Nemas Cousins: Oldest to youngest Fiontan Nemas, Vedis Nemas, Braya Nemas-Young, Celcilia Nemas-Browne, Hida Nemas - Fiontan is an alt of the player and has her own character page. O-Sane-Cant ( ♥ ✔ ) ( NPC ) - Elder Padjal O-Sane-Cant is a friend to the Gridanian half of the Nemas family. He spent a lot of time helping and aiding Lerran through his illness and took a liking to the family. After spending a long time watching Lerran and getting to know him, he petitioned the Elementals to allow Lerran to work for him as a White Mage. Pleading that he needed assistance in his work and someone that could easily walk outside the Shroud when needed. The Elementals, being fond of Lerran in their own way, granted O-Sane's request. Now Lerran spends much of his time working for O-Sane, along side his duties to his current Free Company. E-Sumi-Yan ( ● ✔ ) ( NPC ) - Guildmaster Lerran gets along well enough with E-Sumi-Yan. Growing up though he had some issues with the Padjal, and the Padjal wasn't entirely fond of the sour attitude that Lerran developed as he got older. However given the trials Lerran as gone through, he couldn't blame the young man for feeling how he did. When Lerran was 20 he agreed with Lerran's request to leave the Guild, when Lerran wished to return to Ul'dah. He wished he could have kept Lerran around though with Lerran's skill in conjury. Now that Lerran is back he started helping with the guild again, but refuses to be a formal member of it once more. Nasan Tumet ( ♦ ✔ ) ( ALT ) - Free Company Leader Lerran and Nasan get along pretty well, though they aren't fully friends they are friendly. Lerran likes Nasan's balance between sentiment and practical. He does think most people deserve another chance, but not without proper thought about it. Nasan is rather hard for Lerran to read sometimes, with his generally stoic expressions or casual attitude to most things. Still Lerran is glad to be working for him. Faysal Amatu ( ♦ ✔ ) ( ALT ) - Pain in the arse Someone that Lerran knew from the founding of the first Free Company Lerran was part of. Faysal was rather young at the time, as this was six years ago. However Faysal has always had a dismissive personality, bordering on offensive at times. They get along pretty well though there are times where Lerran finds him annoying. He won't doubt Faysal's skill as a mage or with voidal beings. Fiontan Nemas ( ♥ ) ( ALT ) - Padjali Guardian Fiontan is his cousin, and one of his closest ones despite her being ten years older then him. The two of them often work together aiding O-Sane in his work in and out of the Shroud. He finds her over bearing sometimes in how she looks after him but he appreciates her being there for him. PC Ali Magia ( ♥ ) ( PC ) - Bonded Partner Magia is his childhood friend and bonded person. The two of them have known each other nearly their whole lives, and despite ups and downs ended up dating and eventually having their bonding ceremony a few moons after Ala Mhigo's liberation. There is no one he loves or trusts more then her, the two of them balance each other and keep their bad qualities in check. Anyah Kha ( ♥ ) ( PC ) - Spitfire Anyah is one of the first few that broke down Lerran's walls he put up and helped him stop acting like everyone was a threat to him. She is a steadfast and sure friend, almost family, and he will never turn down having her at his side in a fight. . . He also tends to give her rather good advice when she needs it. Alexander Rendon ( ♦) ( PC ) - Fucking dumbass Probably one of Lerrans closer guy friends, Alex respects Lerran's privacy and independence but also does his best to help. Lerran trusts Alex but also finds his brand of self sacrificing idiocy taxing. However that said Lerran will always save the dumbass. Amber Ejinn ( ♦) ( PC ) - Water lizard Lerran and Amber got along pretty well after a while. She was prone to getting hurt which irritated him but aside from that she was a good person trying really hard to make up for her mistakes, and often comes to him for help. Usually he doesn't know or understand the context of her problems, since she just seems to ask him random things until she figures out an answer. Still they get along well and he enjoys her friendship. Currently he is working to help cure her of a mysterious affliction. Tal Brook ( ♦) ( NPC ) - Seafearer While not fully friends, or at least close ones, Lerran does trust Tal and values his skills. Lerran doesn't know much about Tal over all, and honestly unless it effects him Lerran doesn't care to know. Still they have a mutual respect for each other, even though Lerran is aware that Tal dislikes Lerran's brand of magic. Lerran could care less if Tal dislikes it though.
