General Information

Put beside any other Lalafell of his clan and one would be hard pressed to tell Zazaraji apart from the rest aside from the condescending sneer that seems almost ever present on his face, but in his own mind he stands tall above his kin in just about every way. Arrogant and self assured, he views himself as the worlds greatest thaumaturge and manipulator of aether - not to mention the most intelligent and handsome man in the realm. His only aims in life are to further his power, fame and wealth, caring little for the greater good of the city-states or Eorzea at all if he stands nothing to gain personally. Though he can at times come off as bumbling or ineffective in his dealings, there's very little he won't stoop to in order to get what he wants or gain some advantage over a rival.

Appearance

Unpleasant grin aside, at first glance there's little that makes Zazaraji stand out in a crowd. He's of average height and build for a Lalafell, short black hair kept just so, with pale green eyes that sparkle with a malicious mischief more often than not. Though he can be seen in traditional Lalafellin garb (if somewhat embellished and gaudy to show off his wealth) around town, when he's working or out on the hunt for some sort of powerful relic he wears as much enchanted or aether-infused gear as he can carry. He rarely leaves home without his stave, liking to keep it on hand whether it be to help in his spellcasting or to take a swing at some poor server at an eatery he feels is moving too slowly for his tastes.

Mannerisms

Zazaraji is partial to making petty jabs against people who he feels have sleighted him whether they actually did or not. He enjoys having the last word in any exchange, and has a habit of bursting into maniacal laughter whenever he has a chance to display his prowess with thaumaturgy or the chance to lay an opponent low presents itself.

Philosophy & Ideals

The world revolves around Zazaraji, everyone else is just living in it and they exist as either tools for his use or obstacles to be disposed of. In his mind, it's a crime that he hasn't received the accolades he believes he deserves in life, and he'll stop at nothing to make the reality where he stands tall above everyone else in every perceivable way come true.

Quirks

• In the rare cases he triumphs over his oppponents, Zazaraji is prone to fits of maniacal cackling and posturing. This usually comes off as more comical than intimidating.
• Despite his lust for material gain, he's not opposed to spending his money on others if he believes it will better flaunt his wealth.
• Genuinely believes he's in the right in the way he behaves, and in his mind sees himself as being a benevolent future ruler of the realm. If only everyone else would use their brains and realize it.
