Light and well crafted armour. ∴Appearance∴ This particular Elezen has a distinguished and feral appearance to him. His raven black hair is thick and feathery in appearance, he's tied a few braids here and there but that does not seem to diminish the wild nature of his locks much. A few raven feathers also decorate his hair, giving the inherent wild nature a somewhat regal appearance. Zach's face is typically Elezen in appearance but his jaw appears a little bit stronger than most. His eyes are a vibrant jade green and his ring adorned ears are particularly expressive and almost goofy looking. Aside from being just a few inches taller than most Wildwoods, Zach is also of a larger build. This may be due to diet, exercise or genetics. No matter the reason, he does have a larger and more intimidating appearance than most. A scar extends from Zach's right cheek and over the bridge of his nose, as well if he were to take his shirt off those around would see he has his fair share of scars. • ∴Personality∴ Zach has all the potential of a great leader except for one nagging little issue; his bloodlust. He becomes so focused on the fight that often times he is unable to register the presence of his allies or even his own wounds. Often he will continue to seek more enemies until he simply runs out, considering all of the work and combat spread about Eorzea he can often be on the field of battle for days at a time. When finally shaken from the field of battle, Zach is quick to smile. Enjoying the company of all other races he is quite sociable and at times more than a little flirtatious. Being a good friend, he stands up for those he cares for and protects the weak and innocent with every fabric of his being. Besides enjoying a good laugh and a song he also enjoys food and a drink, the amount he is able to consume has in the past been compared to that of a horse. The young Elezen also isn't picky, he'll eat whatever food he is given without complaint. If the meal is enjoyable he will impart his thanks. An usual birth considering that the child looks absolutely nothing like his fair skinned parents. This lead to many rumors among Elezen and Hyur alike about the legitimacy of the child. Some considered that the baby boy had been adopted by the couple or that Amyranthea had been unfaithful to her husband. That is not the case however. It could also be latent genetics that make him appear so differently but who can be sure. Both parents were in the employ of Gridania; Amyranthea as an Arcanist and Dynlieu a high Thaumaturge. They were very talented in their crafts and served the city well and fought against the Garlean Empire. Needless to say they did not have a lot of time to raise their child so he was often left in the care of his great uncle; Cyphen. When they were around however; every moment they had with their son was spent loving and caring for him. Uncle Cyphen, when his legs were still good and his heart was strong, spent most of his time as a trader. Peddling his wares across Eorzea and using his abilities in both magic and hand to hand combat to keep his goods safe. When he was assured the journey would be safe he would often take his nephew along with him, showing him the glimmering jewels and cultures of Eorzea and educating the young Elezen of the past and present and preparing him for the future. When among children his own age, young Zach often got into fights, even challenging older children and adults. When asked why he was so angry at his peers he would seem confused. It was not rage he felt, but a love for the combat. His parents worked hard to channel this aggression into other outlets. Even attempting to teach him the art of magic but to their surprise they found the child had little talent for it. Instead he was instructed on temperament, chivalry and heroism, as well as instructed the proper form and time to engage in combat. During the seventh year of the war with the Garleans Dynlieu died heroically, and only four months later Amyranthea joined him despite her desperate attempts to return home to her son. Zachree was left in the care of his already very old great uncle, Cyphen, and was brought to live in Cyphen's cottage deep within the Black Shroud. It was around this time that the young lad became obsessed with combat, duty, and heroism. On top of that his spirit had become angry by the loss of his parents and he tried several times to go to war against the Empire but was repeatedly turned away because of his age. After several attempts to run away and join the war front his uncle decided to give him something to focus on; the raising of a young coeurl pup that Zachree named 'Gigas'. Gardening, training the pup and learning trade crafts proved to be a decent distraction for the young lad and he did not run again. When he was old enough he told his Uncle that it was time for him to do what he was meant to do, and went to Gridania to enhance his already existing skills at combat and become a 'hero'. The rest is a story waiting to be told. • ∴Training and Education∴ Error creating thumbnail: File missing - The first Guild Zachree attempted to join after setting off in pursuit of his dreams. He was readily accepted because of his already existing skill and eagerness to learn. After learning much in the care of the Lancer's guild he set off to find guilds that would train him in other forms of combat. There was a certain sense of appeal and power to the art, the ability to cast aside a lance and spear and best someone with your fists is a true test of power and endurance. Error creating thumbnail: File missing - Following the fateful meeting of a kindred spirit, Illith Lith, Zachree traveled with her to Limsa Lominsa for the culture and food. The brute strength and love of combat in the Marauder's guild drew Zach in and he was accepted on the spot. ∴Recent Events∴ • Shockingly and somewhat awkwardly, Zachree has found love in the arms of a Lalafel. With the obvious size differences this romance is a tad strange, but there is a strong connection between the two and both are happy that they realized their attraction. • Through some miss-communication the Driftwood Coast took issue with some of Zachree's friends, shunning them from the group. Having his business to run he hung up his officer title and left Driftwood Coast for good. He soon after joined a new formed company who's primary concern was treasure hunting. • As a recognition of Zachree's efforts, Driftwood Coast rewarded him with the rank Advocate. 25-10 • In a mass gathering Zach was given his pearl and brought into the fold of the freecompany Driftwood Coast 6-10 • Removes the bandage, revealing a scar along his right cheek that goes over his nose. 06-10 • A funeral and celebration was held for Cyphen Rowlaux. Neighbors and friends of the family were in attendance. Even Zach's new friends were there for the festivities. Cyphen was cremated and the house left to Zach, as well as some rather important belongings. What was left of his uncle's belongings were divided up between the neighbors and friends. The question remained; what should be done with Gigas? And thus he began training the creature how to be a proper mount so that he could take the creature with him rather than have it run wild or be killed. 05-10 • In his Uncle's honor Zachree started his own business Weavar's Armaments and Necessities. 02-10 • After leaving Limsa Lominsa on grand company business Zachree was informed of his great Uncle's death. Also at this time he was given a Chocobo by the Gridanian stables. He returned to Limsa Lominsa after dealing with more pertinent issues to inform Illith that he had to cut their adventure short. 30-09 • "I've decided to stay a few extra days in Limsa Lominsa longer than I had originally intended. There's work here and additional training. Not to mention the food has certainly piqued my interest. While their customs are a little strange I have grown to enjoy the company of the people here. Illith was right to have me visit this place, it is a worthwhile trip, though I feel as though I've been here before. Perhaps when I was younger? I can't recall. Perhaps the salty sea air will do well to clear up my muddled memories." • Offered an invite to a Grand Company and chose to join the Order of the Twin Adder out of his loyalty to Gridania even though other factions may have piqued his interest just a little bit more. While doing a part-time job at the Bismark Zach took his break with Zethie, they quickly got to talking about all manner of things and Zethie agreed to teach Zach what he knew about Magitek. • Illith lith - Zachree encountered Illith while she had taken a wrong turn in the Central Shroud. After a quick meal, Zach lead the Lalafel to New Gridania where they decided to travel Linsa Lominsa together in search of new adventures and further education. Offering to protect her on her travels it turned out that the little mage far exceeded him in talent and capabilities. He couldn't help but feel disappointed and vowed to train harder. • Zanana Zana - A surprising ally in the standoff between Zachree and Viola Seville, it seems this Lalafell wanted to bring harm to Viola, and if Zach was going to rough her up, Zanana wanted to be a part of it. • Avalea Drovuld - A friend of the Rowlaux family. Before Zachree went off to find fame and fortune he asked this Midlander to check in on his great uncle from time to time since he was quite old at this point.
