Should I be cast aside, so be it. Forgotten, is my wish--Sanctuary of eternal repose my dream..." Munkhsaran Dotharl ("Eternal Moon" from the Dotharl tribe), although she was born into the Dotharl tribe she never really sat well with their ways. She hated life within the tribe and eventually succeeded in fleeing it at the age of fifteen. From there she lived on her own for a few months with nothing but the clothes she wore and the dagger in which she used to slay her mother. In more recent times she has settled at Concordia, doing all she can in hopes to erase her 'sins'. Though time may only tell how she will end up walking her path. APPEARANCE " " W I P PERSONALITY "For the Dream...For the Future...To fight even if my will fades...To move forward until my legs give away...For them...Even if from afar..." Hateful. Cynical. Loyal. Munkhsaran is very dark, violent, and cynical in her mind. On the surface she wears "The mask they wish to see." and acts as calm, happy, and content as she can. Although typically she wavers and her friends see through this. She is very difficult to befriend and gain her trust as she sees "friends" as those who will simply abandon you when they no longer need you. She is the glass half empty type. Although she is not always stating her true feelings on things sometimes she will to those she feels close to. No matter how harsh her words, should her trust and friendship be gained she is extremely loyal and protective. Even should she feel betrayed by those she had gained her trust she will continue to fight for them, although she won't admit it. (❖✖) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: "It was not a life I wished for, I wanted to escape--but I could not...So I did the only thing I could do--I killed them...My father died slowly, I told him I was healing him and the numbness was the proof...Eventually the poisons took him...His training was strict after all and he always told my brother that I was hopeless--that I would die with my weakness." Never caring much for her father or mother whenever they are brought up she simply says her blood family is dead and that it is for the best. She does not look to him as a father but as a strict teacher and one of three shackles that held her back. Odtsetseg Dotharl, mother. (❖✖) CHARACTER's Thoughts: "I was young, foolishly thinking I could escape faith--I cursed being in this tribe, but I still bare the name to remind me...Remind me of my deeds, what I've done and how I've done it...My mother was just as brutal as my father. She, like him, said I would never last and that I will die disgracing them--that my gift was the exact opposite of what should be done. Death. Killing. Slaughter. Protecting the weak was wrong--that they should die and I should not disgrace the tribe. So I did what she instructed--I killed her, the weak one...In the chaos of that battle, the sharpened dagger slit so cleaning against her throat..." Like her father, she hated her mother and eventually did away with her. She saw her not as a mother, but a monster and second of the three shackles that held her back. Naran Dotharl, older brother. (●❖) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: ”My brother...An odd one--he had caught me many times trying to flee from the tribe during the more chaotic battles. He would become angry with me--it was written all over his face, but he said nothing and would simply drag me back by tail or leg...Being away when I had slain our parents and ran, I am unsure what has happened to him...” She has more neutral feelings for her older brother than her mother and father. Though they trained together under their father and he was typically near during skirmishes they never spoke to one another much. She felt as he was but the guard at the gate and the third shackle that ensured she did not get away. "Eventually I found a way out...Alone, cold, hungry, and full of regret...I could not turn back--what if the others discovered or know what I've done? What would the do--what would happen to me? Being taught never to fear death yet suddenly now I cannot abide. I don't know what came over me...Had nothing but my dagger I had just used to slay my mother and the clothes on my back--I did whatever it took to survive; hunt, gather, find shelter and water...After awhile I was finally found by them..." Cynebald, step father. (🔒✔♥❖) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: ”My new father seemed to hate me, the black scales, the tail, the horns...He had me hide them all--told me no one can ever know and if they found out death would follow surely after. It angered me inside, but for some reason I could not hate him--not like my real father. He was also strict and yelled at my ways a lot, but whenever I needed him he was there to comfort me.” Her step father was a strict but kind man who was always looking after his family. He was the one who was skilled in the harp and had taught Eadger the ways of harp and bow. Eventually he also started to teach her as well, but in a lighter manner. Mildoina, step mother. (🔒✔♥❖) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: ”Yes..A new family, one I can hide in--become a part of. My new mother was the first to spot me that day--she was beautiful. I was scared, a group of oddly dressed musicians with bows before me. I tried to scare her off pretending to be some kind of monster, but it only caused her to come closer. The soft look on her face as she meant no harm and the song she sung as she motioned me to come out of hiding...She was so kind--I...Did not deserve such after what I've done to my true family--abandoning my tribe...” Mildoina was a beautiful singer who often sung songs as they traveled and lulled them to sleep every night. She was kind although quick with a bow, gentle although quick to defend her family. Mildoina would eventually try to teach her to sing, although she could never grasp it and was only able to improve her humming. Eadger, step brother. (🔒✔♥❖) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: ”It was almost a mirror of what I wished from my real family...A stern, but caring father...A loving, sweet, and beautiful mother...And an older brother, who was as gentle and kind as my mother, but strong and serious when needed like my father. He was very well versed in poetry and would often share his songs with me. He played and looked out for me and even gave me my first harp...Silver and beautiful...” She was fond of her brother, he was gentle and protected her. He taught her many things, including poetry and playing the harp. They were close and she would always follow him, using her abilities learned from her tribe and fighting along with him. Though he did not like the idea, and suggested she learn to use her curative magics more so she could help others. Eventually, Eadger sat with his family and told them he would travel to Gridania and help aid those in the time of need. I just tend to only add these as necessary for those who make a real impact on Munkhsaran, and descriptions are purely based upon in character experiences and opinions! (♥) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: "I'll be here...That's what he said...Always...I could never understand his ways...Said he loved me, he'd be by my side more...Then suddenly saying it's not 'official'...I..." Known the longest and her roommate during her time in both companies Razaroic is Munkhsaran's love/hate relationship target of interest. They have been through many things, and they had saved each other many times(although him more). Being the first of the only two people she trusted, she had lost most faith in his words even though she still feels strongly for him. Akhutai Sagahl, Like a Brother. (♥) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: "So similar...To me, yet so different in some views...'Goodbye' was it..? I...Will not change my promises and oaths..." Munkhsaran sees Akhutai as a brother, having fought together and talked to him many a times. She had formed many pacts, promises and even a contract she had written and signed in her own blood with him. She sees him as family, and even opened up enough to him to say she trusts him. Saving her from many a tough situation and after various events she began to become filled with regret. Guilt that she causes those she cares for so much to suffer, and knew that staying safe would put them at ease, but she could not find herself to sit ideally. Wanting to do more, be more use to those she cared for she had upset him. With his goodbye she could no longer stand as the two she trusted so much had, to her understanding, abandoned her side. Her fears of betrayal once again consuming her, unable to understand her faults. Sionna Mizume, Like a sister. (♥) CHARACTER’s Thoughts: "We had similar struggles...And it was not long with our chats that she became like a sister to me..." One of Munkhsaran's biggest helps on regaining her memories. She cares for Sionna like a sister--best to her knowledge--and is almost always open to listen to her.
