He enjoys having people watch him which makes him a decent performer. He is fairly flirtatious with women, and easily gets along with men, having the sort of charm and charisma one would expect from someone who wishes to make a living by performance. Magic Rhyan has no magical skill that he's aware of. Crafting Rhyan is a fairly accomplished cook. But otherwise doesn't take part in much crafting. His family consisted of his mother, father, older brother and eventually his younger sister. Rhyan was a quiet middle child, not really enjoying the family's farm estate and preferring to spend his time indoors reading or playing music. At seven he got the chance to take piano lessons which he excelled at and continued to play into his teen years.. Teen Years Rhyan's teen years were uneventful, except for the Calamity and except for the ruining of the family crops, he was not much affected by the events. The Cox's lived in a fairly sheltered community, Rhyan's father making sure his children mostly interacted with other Hyur of decent reputation. As such Rhyan grew up with very little cultural knowledge of other people and this still shows sometimes in his hesitation around other races. He received schooling from scholars and other learned individuals and excelled in history and geography, and of course, music. Adulthood Error creating thumbnail: File missing Following Bex'li' completing his final trial as a healer and doing his specialty rounds in various fields, including obstetrics and midwifery, battle trauma surgery and sexual health, Bex'li decided to broaden his horizons and moved to Ul'dah part-time, to study weaving. It was at the weavers guild that he met Alaraien Eldryn, a noble Hyuran whom he would ultimately date rather seriously for two years. It was also around this time that he was recruited by the Scions as hired hand to help with odd jobs. Error creating thumbnail: File missing Following the end of their relationship, Bex'li took up training with a free-paladin, and took a side job as a bartender, and moved back to the Lavender Beds. He spent the next year and a half, working up the ranks in the Scions til he was finally named a Commander in the ground infantry, being sent to fight on the frontline in Garlean held territories. During his work as a bartender for the Drunken Moogle (a tavern his mother co-owns with fellow Keeper of the Moon and adopted auntie, Meela Jakkya), he met Azrian Thorne, an Ishgardian Hyur with whom he developed an almost instant attraction to. The two dated for about eight months and are now engaged. After a nearly fatal injury on the front line, Bex'li has been focusing his studies and training on espionage, reconnaissance and spy theory as well as becoming rather proficient with guns. Though neither of them is exactly experienced in the matters of love or sex, they hit it off and have now graduated to 'in a relationship'. Rhyan adores Ryder's silliness and finds his slight social awkwardness endearing. ●Nara Nitsah A good friend of Rhyan's who he has performed with. He's very comfortable around the Miqo'te and can often be spotted hugging, rubbing, or otherwise showing physical signs of affections toward. ●Azrian Thorne: A close friend and confidant of Rhyan's. He often visits this Hyur for advice pertaining to love and sex. ●Leif Steele: A friend Rhyan met in Ul'dah one day and fancied quite a lot for a while. Had circumstances been different, he may have entertaining dating the man but instead they've become friends. ●Meela Jakkya: Rhyan's boss at the Moogle and good friend whom he accidentally ended up going on a good number of 'dates' with due to their social nature (and timezones). He enjoys Meela's teasing and finds her a fun person to go to parties with. ●Scott Sullivan: A quiet Hyur Rhyan met in Ul'dah. He enjoys the man's seriousness and that he seems, despite his wealth, to be a good guy. ●Adham Hadad: Some kid who's followed him around and ended up living at the Moogle part-time. What I am looking for/interested in: I am always looking for new roleplaying friends. For just a one-off scene, or to plot with, even to come up with pre-established friendships. What I will NOT RP: While I do ERP, I only do it if it is natural to the story of my character, so if that is your only expectation out of the interaction, you might be disappointed. Not hugely interested in Roleplaying long drawn out fight scenes. I'd actually rather just know what the outcome of the fight is and Roleplay that. I find combat roleplaying pretty boring. In all things, if you think it might be "iffy" just ask. I'm a big fan on OOC discussion if it comes to long-lasting effects on one's characters. I will definitely consult you OOCly if I intend to do something that might affect your character seriously.
