He was a clumsy squire and altogether foolish adolescent, but somehow he found his way into adulthood. Rather than becoming a Knight, he turned to Adventuring for its freedom. As an Adventurer he could go beyond the boundaries of Knighthood to protect those he loved. He had always been a goof with an easy smile, but as he matured, he became something different on the battlefield. He was not a sword and shield Paladin with a gift for Holy magic, no; his skills had always been with the arcane. With a scythe as his weapon of choice, and greatsword at a close second, Sephirah learned well how to fight as a dark knight and his bloodthirsty approach to the battlefield surprised even his closest friends. Yet still, after every battle, his shy smile returned. The Void changed him for better or for worse. It had ripped opened in front of himself and a friend one day, dragging them into its tumultuous storm. They were spit out in Coerthas, a large red crystal arcing overhead. So it was, his introduction to Aldenard involved a fractured memory of blood and snow. It took over a year to regain that memory, much to his friend's dismay, and Sephirah by then had been changed by the experience. He was quicker to do violence, and a touch more paranoid of others. Finding his way back home helped to heal the scars of the Void, and these days he finds it easier to smile again like he used to. He still harbors a darkness that wishes to lash out at every living thing in his vicinity, but for the most part it has been smothered by a once again fierce dedication to protect his home and his friends. CURRENT Currently Seph is hard to pinpoint, as he disappears for days at a time without any notice. He comes and goes seemingly with the wind, and tracking him has proven exceedingly difficult. Most recently, he was hired on as an "expert" for the Raven's Nest, helping them to secure a facility for their use. He is often seen with a lavender-haired Miqo'te named Saiya at his side or else alone at a pub enjoying a moment of respite. LOCATIONS Locations where a wild Seph may be encountered. The two have saved each other on a number of occasions over the years, but Kersch's decision to give up the fight for a more peaceful existence has left Sephirah with mixed feelings. He calls Kersch a tree hugging coward, but always with a hint of a smile. The complexity of their interactions continues to confuse those around them, but the truth of the matter is when Sephirah calls someone friend, he would move the stars to protect them. Error creating thumbnail: File missing ● Orin Kai: A very forward Raen who often forces a blush from Sephirah simply with crude remarks or threats. Sephirah continues to call him a "puff" and threaten him physically, but he enjoys the Au Ra's company. When Sephirah was still having trouble holding back his violent urges, he came to Orin first with bits of the truth about himself and Kersch, and later he trusted Orin to protect Kersch from himself. Since Orin and Kersch officially became a couple he has mainly kept his distance from them, feeling as if he might be intruding on the fledgling relationship. Error creating thumbnail: File missing ♥ Saiya Hailene: A spunky cat a handful of years younger than Sephirah, the two met in Hito's band and formed a fast friendship. Going from one battle to the next, their friendship became something more as they learned to cherish the brief moments of respite between life threatening events. At first keeping their relationship open, neither planning on fully committing for various personal reasons, a year of uncertain separation and the possibility that either party could be dead weighed heavier on their minds than they would have expected. Sephirah let go of his reservations and now courts Saiya in truth. Error creating thumbnail: File missing ♥ Tempest Fey: A Black Mage to be feared and respected, Tempest is a spitfire, almost literally. The two were youths when Sephirah met her and she still helped her mother run the local apocathery. They would spend days together studying whatever spell scrolls came through the shop, secretly practicing elemental and dark magic. It was with Tempest that Sephirah learned he had a knack for dark magic, and to this day, if the two meet up, they easily slip into tangents about various theories of magic for hours. Sephirah would face the Void again for Tempest, and has risked more than his life for hers.
