Banli'a and Gospel met when the miqo'te was injured and near death in the Black Shroud. The masked dollmaker proved himself to be a kind and generous ally to Banli'a when he provided him a place to stay and steady work, even going as far to help educate the miqo'te. Despite Ban's elusive, secretive nature, and tendency to disappear for moons without word, Gospel doesn't seem to mind and always welcomes him back as if time hadn't passed at all.
Ban was instantly smitten the moment he met the other miqo'te on the pier one early morning. Though time has passed he struggles to express his feelings to Etani'a along with his concerns that the much younger miqo'te deserves more than an aging blacksmith. In fact, Ban doesn't even know if his feelings are returned but he is content to enjoy Etani's company and visits him regularly, though he may just be plotting to steal the bed.
Ban had the unfortunate luck of meeting Jihn'a one day at the Blacksmith's Guild in Limsa Lominsa, where the man would commission him to forge a new sword for him. Even when he delivered not one, but two swords to the other miqo'te, Jihn'a was not impressed. Though he has suffered immensely at Jihn'a's hands, their interactions have left Ban with many conflicting feelings.
Although they're unsure of what to call the feelings they have for each other, they've agreed to figure it out together.
Jihn'a's twin brother and Ban had a very odd first encounter, meeting when Ban was arriving at the Conjurer's guild for a check-up after Jihn'a had nearly killed him in a fit of rage. The irritated Smith instantly assumed it was Jihn'a in disguise come to spy on him, but much to his embarrassment that was far from the truth. Though their interactions have been few and far between, Ban finds the man's determined nature to be close to his twin a little off putting. His taste in furniture is also very perplexing to Ban.
The two have never crossed paths, much less spoken a word to one another but Ban saw the man being intimately close with Jihn'a once, and that was enough to earn the Smith's ire.

INVENTORY
These are the following items Banli'a carries with him. The information listed below should not be used to meta-game, but do feel free to use it if comes up in RP. I respectfully ask that you send a /tell first if you intend to use it for pickpocketing.
■ PIPE - A simple, hand carved wooden pipe. It's well used and stained.
■ PAPER & CHARCOAL- Several folded pieces of blank parchment and a piece of charcoal used to mark it.
■ AXE - A large axe of simple design, made for work rather than looks. It's seen plenty of use and has a few deep blood stains.
RP LIMITS
I consider myself a flexible player who tends to go with the flow of the RP as long as it's plausible. For some events I prefer to use /random and let RNG take it away, but I also like to talk about it beforehand to ensure things stay reasonable. Thank you for your interest in me!
■ DO - From dark and mature themes to the light-hearted and easy-going themes are welcomed, whether they be short or long. Conflicts, friendships, rivalries, violence, and drama are strongly encouraged. I prefer romance to happen organically and Tiergan Vashir said it best, "I do not actively search for RP romances. I really enjoy romantic tension and romantic feelings as a source of conflict for a story, but romance RP itself is not one of the main focuses of my RP."
■ DON'T - Character death is not allowed unless I feel the time is right. Absolutely nothing that prevents him from living his life independantly is allowed, nor is random ERP that isn't organic and a natural course of the RP. Please do not push this, I will ditch the RP if I feel this is being forced.
■ ASK - While I am not opposed to any disfigurement (scars, missing limbs, etc) I do ask that we discuss it beforehand as they may have a drastic change or negative impact on my enjoyment of my character. TL;DR if you aren't sure, ask.
