Edyva hails from relatively humble beginnings. Her father works as a humble merchant and her mother is a weaver, and together they run a small textile business in Limsa Lominsa. Edyva had a much older brother - Eadwin - but he enlisted in the Maelstrom and was lost in the Battle of Carteneau. Losing him and coming to terms with the destruction that can befall the people she loves, the bubbly young Edyva's personality shifted immensely at the age of 16. Where before she had a lust for life, she has grown rather blase and morbid about everything. This was spurred on due to dreams - perhaps an early manifestation of the Echo? - of the death and destruction caused by the fall of Dalamud. It became clear to her that she needed to seek power of her own, so one night - after yet another attempt by her mother to get her to help with the business failed immensely - Edyva booked passage to Vesper Bay and began the journey to Ul'dah. Appearance
Edyva is a Midlander of average height, with relatively pale skin and piercing blue-green eyes. Her dark violet hair is shaved off on one side, while the other is long, with blue highlights. She has a barely-noticable lip piercing and a small tattoo on her face. She typically wears rather dark lipstick and violet eyeshadow to accentuate her look.
She carries herself as one would expect. There is almost always a cynical or sarcastic air to her body language.

Mannerisms
As you might expect, Edyva is rather passive in her mannerisms. If there is a plan to be made, she will let someone else do it...and only really get involved if it's to point out that their plan is bad. In social conversations, she will just stand there, likely zoning out and thinking about something she actually gives a flip about. The only time she seems to take any initiative is when she is told that she CAN'T do something...and that is to do the exact thing that she is told she "can't" do.
Philosophy & Ideals
Cocovachi firmly believes that everyone deserves some love in their life, and that deep inside almost each and every person he meets, there's a little bit of light in them that just needs some nurturing and care to make it come blossoming out, and into the kindness he "knows" they can provide to those around them.
Despite his can-do attitude and willingness to put himself in harm's way for others, beneath the surface, he's come to terms with the possibility that he can't change every heart or mind. That he's just one little soldiery-man, and that he can't save all of 'em. ...But that doesn't keep him reminding himself that he's still gotta try.
Personality Tidbits
- Coco' knows how to carry a tune by himself, but others singing with him causes him to clam up...
- Coco' will spend minute upon minutes, the time between the seconds, just to make sure everything's maintained, and everyone's prepped.
- He treats Chocobos like they were people - down to asking for their name, and their story.
- The boy's never had a proper brew in his life yet, but his tolerance for pain belies his tolerance for the spirits...
- Due to his upbringing, Coco' could do menial work - the most boring, mundane crap imaginable, and somehow find a way to make it a pleasant detour.
- Coco' will never admit any affections he has openly, merely hinting at them. He's bashful about the people he like-likes, maybe even loves, very much so.
- Coco' cares for those that care about him back tenfold - maybe a bit too much to some, but his truest friends are worth more than any sum of Gil.
- Offending the farmboy usually comes with the benefit of the doubt - maybe it was just a slip-up on their part. But doubling down on that offense threatens to bring out the beast in the boy...

Preferences
RP Preferences:
I'm open to roleplaying with just about everyone - Veteran or novice RPer alike! Walkups are welcome and encouraged. My only three real requests are:
First - That you try to keep OOC and IC interactions separate when possible. I really prefer trying to keep character interactions in-character, and trying to differentiate when I'm talking to your character and *you* is difficult when someone constantly switches between the two without a warning. So trying to use "(( ))" tags when possible is greatly appreciated! :)
Second - I welcome almost all backstories and roleplays. If you'd like to do some sort of life-changing collaboration storyline involving Mikae, please clear it with me first so I can think about the story a bit ahead of time and make it an awesome experience for both of us! That being said, I almost never turn down playing a role in your character's development.
Third - Regarding character relationships, while I am okay with Mikae becoming - slowly - involved with somebody romantically, It would need to be something that would be built up upon many roleplaying sessions. I also want to stress that it would be strictly IC and would have it not bleed into the real world. Please respect that I prefer to keep the boundary in-game and will respond negatively if you try to make it go beyond that. Thank you! :)
