Gyles's eyes had always been a warm,clear blue. Sadly he lost one of his during a mishap. The patch is definitely not for looks any longer. Over that injured eye, runs a scar over most of his face. He doesn't seem to mind it though. Since the loss of his eye, a group of mages were kind enough to grant him a glass eye. Though it looks real at first glance, it doesn't work not move correctly. A tattoo like symbols over the eye seals the eye with magical properties. He keeps this eye covered till he really needs it (severe conditions)

*Side note: Gyles is actually a very panicky mage with little understanding of his gift. Though he is learning to harnish it, he would rather run.*
