General Information
Mal'valen is a performer and healer, having been taught from a young age how to sing and dance, as well as tend to injuries - mainly for himself. The eldest of the Moonspeaker (Mhunre) siblings, he currently lives in Kugane with his fiancée Rahni Kajhir.
Appearance
Mal'valen is rather tall for a Miqo'te, standing at around 5 fulms 10 ilms, long-limbed and graceful. He is dark skinned with snow white fur and hair, highlighted with purple dye. His ears and tail have dark snow leopard spots. There are some noticeable scars on his body, namely an X-shaped scar between his eyes, a pair of half-circle scars on his left hip, and a notch torn out of his left ear. He has navel, Monroe, and tongue piercings. He has a lithe, dancer's build, not too slender but not overly muscular. His face is typically decorated with violet tiger-stripe patterned war paint, dark eyeshadow, and lipstick.

Mannerisms
To those who don't know him particularly well, Mal'valen may appear aloof and distant. He speaks in a quiet, deadpan tone most times and has difficulty changing his intonation to reflect his emotions. Because of this, his dry humor and sarcasm is often mistaken as being completely serious, which has led to some rather unfortunate or even disastrous misunderstandings. Likewise, his facial expressions rarely convey what he's feeling; he often looks bored, listless, or downright Done with Everything. What emotions he does show are normally conveyed in a more catlike manner through his ears, tail, and eyes. Those who are closest to him may get to see a more expressive side, but he normally keeps those expressions well-guarded while in public settings.
Philosophy & Ideals
Mal'valen strongly believes that the most important things in life are love and compassion. He is dedicated to song and dance as a way to express himself emotionally due to having trouble properly conveying how he's feeling through speech alone. Trust in others is something that doesn't come particularly easily, but he will always lend a helping hand to those in need, even if he's not fully willing to open himself up to them. To those who earn his trust, he shows extreme devotion - almost to the point of obsession - and is very protective. To those he has given his heart, he will go out of his way to please them, showering them in gifts, affection, and words of affirmation, while asking and expecting very little in return.
