General Information

A'dehn Tia is an older male Miqo'te who, previous to the Calamity, was once part of a small party of adventurers who sold their swords to the Immortal Flames. The four of them, being life long friends, worked well together and make a great sum of Gil in their small expeditions. A'dehn lead a relatively happy life until the Calamity struck. He and his party were called to serve in the battle against the VIIth Legion and serve they did. Bahamut was released from his prison and the other adventurers were teleported away. All save A'dehn, who somehow remained and woke upon the burning battlefield among the bodies of friends and foes alike. Stumbling from the wreckage of the fight, he soon found that he could not die. He certainly experienced the pain of his injuries but each time he fell he would only come right back.

Now, A'dehn seeks out a cure for his condition. After suffering with it for 5 years he has sought out every solution that he can, save one. Currently A'dehn works alongside the Ascians as they have promised him the end he so desires.

Appearance

A'dehn Tia is a male Seeker of the Sun miqo'te baring a general resemblance to others of his people and clan with a tan complexion. His normal eye color is almost amber like, however, he lost vision in one eye during the Calamity and it has since went a milky white. He stands at approximately 5 fulms, 6 ilms (5 fulms 8 ilms including ears) and is athletically built, with a slim but toned body.

He has light brown hair shaved into an undercut. Due to the loss of is eye he tends to wear a patch over it. His taste in clothes is usually well maintained shirts, pants, and boots.

Mannerisms

A'dehn tends to play his hand close to his chest and is willing to steal and kill to achieve his goals. However, he is cunning enough not to do so immediately but will if his hand is forced in any way.

Unfortunately he is not very social as being sociable when you're helping ancient beings destroy the world seems to be a bit hypocritical. That being said no one in the world can go without forming relationships and A'dehn might be in for a very big surprise.

He struggles with intimacy and relationships. He used to be very good at making friends but those skills went out the window a long time ago. Because of this he might not get a joke or understand that someone is just trying to be friendly and instead assume that they are being aggressive.

Philosophy & Ideals

A'dehn's philosophy lets nothing get in the way of his true goal. If he dies he'll be happy but his greatest fear in all the world is to be the last sentient being in existence. Doing or saying anything to achieve his one true goal is what drives him. Nothing and no one has been able to coax he away from his all driving purpose. Whether someone even can is up for debate.

• Obsessed: A'dehn has one goal and one goal only. He's literally killed and even died for it multiple times.
• Hates Antelope Meat: Growing up in the A tribe, when food was scarce, they tended to eat Antelope. And only Antelope. Antelope jerky. Antelope stew. Antelope filet. So much did he have to partake in that meat that he can't stand it at all and will get nausea if he has to eat it.
• Morbid Humor: Tends to make jokes that are on the darker side especially about his own mortality or actions.

Nothing will stop it. Not even his own conscience. Cold: A'dehn does not tend to talk about his feelings or needs to other beings, instead choosing to bottle things up. Obsessed: Everything in his life revolves around dying and that one singular thought is why he's not buried himself in a hole somewhere.

Early Life

Childhood

A'dehn grew up among the warm sands that made up the A tribe's territories. He was raised with the utmost care and beloved by his mother and older sisters. His sire was more distant but that was mainly due to his stressors as a Nuhn and leader. He took up healing early in life, being taught how to heal with the power of the stars. His life was pretty standard until he hit his adolescent years.

Adolescence

When he was thirteen the A tribe split into several parts due to a schism between a Tia and the Nuhn, his father. He and his mother followed after a different Tia who took them closer to Ul'dah's territory. It was during this transitional period that A'dehn hit his eighteenth name day and left the tribe due to the growing animosity between he and the new Nuhn.

He began his new life in Ul'dah and met three other friends there while doing so. The four of them became adventurers, making coin on bounties, hunts, and quests that others assigned them. For over a decade he lived this way until the Calamity came.

Recent Times

Immediately after the Calamity A'dehn knew that something was wrong, as he woke up on the field of battle surrounded by the dead. For some reason he was not one of them. Attempting to return to Ul'dah proved harder than expected as those who had come, in their desperation, to loot the bodies saw him as an easy target. He is killed in the resulting scuffle and while the thieves run off with his equipment he returns to life unscathed. Over the course of the next two years A'dehn tries to cure his new condition in every way possible. While he is hunting down a witch who he heard might be able to help him, he instead runs into an Ascian who offers him an end to his suffering if only he would do their dirty work. Without a second thought, he agrees.

Since then he has spied, lied, cheated, and stolen all in the name of his true goal, a quick death.

  Mature Themed Rps are fine as long as they are planned out ahead of time. Things involving murder, suicide, or deceit should probably be brought up before hand otherwise confusion may occur for not only me but my partner.

• E-RP

  Erotic Rp is fine as long as the other person/character is 18 or older I will ask you before anything happens if you are 18 or older if the answer is no we will skip the smutty scenes. If I find out you've lied about your age I will block you/blacklist you.. Please do not attempt erotic rp if you are underage.

  I will also only do e-rp in party chat or tell and in a non public area. I'm not here to make anyone uncomfortable.

• RP Reminders

  It is okay to remind me about ongoing threads/situations every once in a while but please note that I have a home and work life that I have to take care of before this game. Constant reminders will result in me just not wanting to rp with you anymore.

• Character/Mun

  The mun and the muse are two very different people and it should stay that way. Please, I'm in a committed relationship and I'm not interested in dating you just because you cannot separate your feelings for my character from your feelings for me. Likewise, just because A'dehn does something shady doesn't mean I'm out to get you.
