True Neutral AppearancePersonalityRelationshipsRumorsOOCCredit Ashenne, or Ashe, is a tall, Duskwight Elezen, originally hailing from the forest of the Twelveswood. Her childhood was fairly typical to a nomadic Duskwight family, with Ashe's parents training her as a hunter and gatherer. As such, Ashe is a talented hunter and tracker of man and beast, and excellent at disguising her presence within the bounds of the Twelveswood. However, she did eventually leave her parents' traditional way of life. At the age of eighteen, Ashe was engaged to another Duskwight of her parents' choosing, Dochax Riesibeur. Although Ashe did not agree with the match, she chose to go through with it in order to please her parents. Unfortunately, the marriage did not work out. Dochax proved to be both cruel and a traitor – acting as a spy and scout for Garlean forces in exchange for money and the promise of power and eventual imperial citizenship. Ashe ended up pregnant by Dochax out of wedlock and fled the Twelveswood. In the process of her escape, she was badly wounded and miscarried the child she was carrying – nearly dying as a result. Her life was saved by a Mi'qote by the name of Arikane Kurogane, an adopted Doman living in the Twelveswood and member of the Conjurer's Guild. Subsequently, Ashe left the Twelveswood for nearly ten years. She spent that decade wandering Eorzea as an adventurer, taking up mercenary work whenever funds were short. Given her background and skillset, she also took work as a hunter and tracker, looking into the disappearances of people and hunting down dangerous beasts. It was during her wanderings as an adventurer and mercenary, Ashe began a relationship with a Garlean defector. The relationship did not last, however, with Ashe being abandoned shortly before she gave birth to twin sons, whom she named Cassian and Valens. Although the relationship ended on a sour note, Ashe does not hold this against her children and loves them fiercely; she would gladly give her life to protect them. At present, her focus is on raising her two children as best she can – hoping to give them a better life than her own, with the chance to make their own choices. Scars & Markings: She has no unusual scars or markings, save for a small beauty mark below her right eye, which is hidden by her hair at present. Voice: Ashe is very calm, with a relatively deep voice, and rarely prone to swearing; she comes across as being somewhat aloof, and maybe a little uncaring at times. Clothing: Ashe favours practical clothes that allow her to hunt and work her crafts with ease. That being said, she also detests the cold and prefers warmer, heavier fabrics the majority of the time; though she isn't adverse to dressing the part of a young lady, should the occasion call for it. Ashe is a calm, cool individual, who comes across as not being particularly interested in the problems of others. She is fiercely devoted to both of her sons. Given that they are both still infants, much of her time is devoted to caring for them. Dochax Riesibeur ♠ - Former Fiancé Before Ashe left her family, they arranged for her marriage to Dochax. Though Ashe had her reservations and suspicions about the man, she went through with the arrangment to keep the peace with her family. Her suspicions proved to be true, as Dochax was revealed as a traitor: acting as a spy and scout for the Garlean Empire in exchange for money and the promise of imperial citizenship. He impregnated Ashe before she left both him and the Twelveswood – though they were never married. Eaulette ♥ - Mother Ashe's mother, Eaulette, was never particularly close to her daughter. Ashe has not seen her, nor any other member of her family, since she fled the Twelveswood some ten years ago. PC Arikane Kurogane ♥ - Closest Friend Ashe encountered Arikane at an incredibly dark time in her life. He saved her life and helped her recover, and the two have been incredibly close ever since. While Ashe doesn't agree with some of Arikane's decisions and beliefs, she would still help him if he asked – even going so far as to return to the Twelveswood, a place that she has sworn she would never return to.
