General Information

Cocovachi is a young lad from humble beginnings, growing up on a Chocobo farm with his mixed family and knowing not much else of the world outside of what his family allowed him to experience. Few were the travellers that he was allowed to interact with or learn from, and despite his parent's best efforts at rearing an innocent child that would become a homebody like them, he had different aspirations. Dreams of seeing the world beyond the farm, of doing great things, meeting interesting people, and forging new bonds! When he came of age, he bade farewell to his slow-and-easy life on the farm with a weathered blade in hand, and bought a cart-trip to a city that would show him the way of an Adventurer's life. Unaware was the man, however, in what destiny held in store for him...
Appearance
Cocovachi is a short, stout young man with a dark skin tone and smooth complexion, a jagged mop of snow-white hair that spikes out in various directions, and a pair of Amethyst eyes that shine a vibrant purple when the light catches them. Despite his lack of height at a meager 2' 10", his bodily strength in such a small form makes up in spades.
Born and raised on a farm, his motions are practiced, and methodical, if a tad meticulous at times, what with his teachings of doing something right by pacing himself, or keeping matters simple, stupid. This results in motions that utilize the weight of his body moreso than energetic efforts - a single beckoning swing towards himself to call others close, rather than rapid side-to-side hand motions, or spending time shadowing his movements before executing them...

Mannerisms
Mikae is eager to see and do it all - the whole world holds so much promise! While she seldom stays in one place for too long, she has a great appreciation for the mannerisms and customs of the places she does go. She makes a strong effort to learn and apply the local etiquette with what she says and does.
She is headstrong and impulsive - often picking fights with stronger opponents that are bullying others. She has a flair for the dramatic and would rather fail trying to make a big impression rather than simply be boring with a simple introduction. She is an extrovert and will willingly try to engage in conversation with anybody willing to give her any time.
She loves most forms of self-expression, and enjoys singing and dancing. Mikae is adventurous, often willing to try things that on the surface appear to be too off-putting or beyond the normal for others.
Philosophy & Ideals
Mikae loves to show up naysayers who underestimate the young girl. Though her successes vary, she takes great pleasure in being able to tell somebody she 'told them so'. Still, she doesn't actively go around looking for fights and would much rather spend her time making a new friend than an enemy.
Despite her energetic nature, she is capable of patience and concentration when the time calls for it, as evidenced by her growing expertise with a bow. Quite comfortable in most wilderness settings, she can often provide dinner through her skilled use of hunting.
Personality Tidbits
- Mikae loves to sing - and will gladly showcase her voice for you!
- Mikae often spends her time at the campfire writing down the sights and stories of the day. She keeps several journals of the most interesting things she's seen.
- She will enter virtually any contest... whether or not she has any chance of winning. She just likes to be a part of it!
- Alcohol and Mikae are a bad combination. She gets drunk quickly and makes a scene by speaking her mind without a filter with both positive and negative consequences.
- Surprising absolutely no-one, Mikae is capable of exercise that would tire-out nearly anybody else. Furthermore, she takes a surprising amount of punishment before throwing in the towel.
- Sudden and unexpected things scare her. She's no coward when she knows whats coming, but sudden surprises like loud noises can trigger her phonophobia.
- Hell hath no fury like Mikae ignored. Ignoring her is likely to drive her absolutely bananas.

Preferences
RP Preferences:
I'm open to roleplaying with just about everyone - Veteran or novice RPer alike! Walkups are welcome and encouraged. My only three real requests are:
First - That you try to keep OOC and IC interactions separate when possible. I really prefer trying to keep character interactions in-character, and trying to differentiate when I'm talking to your character and *you* is difficult when someone constantly switches between the two without a warning. So trying to use "(( ))" tags when possible is greatly appreciated! :)
Second - I welcome almost all backstories and roleplays. If you'd like to do some sort of life-changing collaboration storyline involving Mikae, please clear it with me first so I can think about the story a bit ahead of time and make it an awesome experience for both of us! That being said, I almost never turn down playing a role in your character's development.
Third - Regarding character relationships, while I am okay with Mikae becoming - slowly - involved with somebody romantically, It would need to be something that would be built up upon many roleplaying sessions. I also want to stress that it would be strictly IC and would have it not bleed into the real world. Please respect that I prefer to keep the boundary in-game and will respond negatively if you try to make it go beyond that. Thank you! :)
