He was abandoned by his father who had no interest in caring for a child and his mother who could only afford to take care of herself. Struggling to survive every single day, he was alone in Kugane for a very long time, before he stowed away on a travelling merchant's cart headed towards the Azim Steppe. It is here he stumbled upon Union, and more specifically, the Malaguld, who he approached and explained his situation. They took him in as one of their own, and he finally found family. Despite having finally found a family, Karna yearned for more, he yearned for a purpose for his existence, and with permission from the Malaguld, left for Kugane to find work which he found often times as a bodyguard or mercenary. Some years later, Karna grew very bored of his life. He simply worked, ate, and went home to sleep with some in-between activities, though it was not enough to satisfy him. His boredom and lack of purpose continued to grow - until he eventually broke, and left for Eorzea all on his own. His journey was quite lonely, often filled with misfortunes and plights, but he met many people on his way to the west, many of which he helped either by giving them money or assisting them with whatever troubles they had. It took him quite some time, but he eventually landed in Eorzea, where he now seeks a reason for his existence. Seye is easily seen as childish, hyperactive, and at times questionable with how she tries to communicate with the use of Charades. The woman doesn't mind writing down what she wants to converse but finds it more enjoyable to confuse people during conversations. She is kind, gentle, and is prone to being sleepy most of the time due to doing her best to get away from Moon Keeper Tradition and refusing to be nocturnal. She only seems reserved or closed off when encountering something that makes her feel uncomfortable.
