A midlander of five fulm one ilm, Laurel is easily overlooked in a crowd. A choppy cut of brunette hair is tousled above keen yellow eyes and a set of thin brows. A pair of thick-lensed glasses rests on the smallness of her nose. Sun-flushed cheeks hold a bit of youthful cushion and both are marked with sigils near her eyes. She has a feminine silhouette that’s offset by a lack of jewelry, makeup, and perfume. She holds a constitution that hints at light but consistent exercise, her waist tapered and her arms vaguely toned. Her choice of attire is often uniform like, a few outfits classed as her fallbacks and ones she seems to consistently lean on.
At her core, Laurel is governed by her curiosity. It manifests as a penchant for enquiry, regardless of the subject’s appropriateness or perceived intimacy. This trait can be perceived as somewhat of a contrast to her soft-spoken demeanor and has a tendency to catch those she interacts with off guard. She harbors a belief in a bigger picture. Within her peers, she seems to analyze shifts in sentiments, changes in habits, and variances in ideals as if they are all interwoven - even if they aren’t. This leads her to take time in social situations to observe and sometimes arrive at vastly incorrect conclusions, piecing the interactions of those around her together like a puzzle. Without an understanding of the relationships surrounding her, Laurel doesn’t seem to have the capacity to fully relax. Perhaps just as important, she strives to be understood herself. Though it takes her a while to warm to individuals, once Laurel gains a friend she holds them in high favor. Her empathetic disposition seems to grow exponentially, and does so regardless of differing viewpoints or traits she might otherwise view as unfavorable. With groups, she’s a bit quicker on the uptake, more than willing to commit fully to a team and cooperate towards a shared goal. Despite her insistence otherwise if the topic arises, Laurel is secretly impressed by traditional forms of success, including wealth, status, and popularity. She longs to be viewed as a role model for her mental acuity and is overtly aware of others perception of her. Linked to this trait, she can become frazzled easily when she draws attention beyond her comfort level. Her concern of other’s perceptions of her can sometimes manifest as neediness.

CHANGING THE COLOR SCHEME
To change the color scheme of this wiki, copy the wiki code into a document. Using the find and replace feature, exchange each of these color keywords (i.e. ‘PRIMARY COLOR’, ‘SECONDARY COLOR’, etc.) with a six digit/letter hex code for the color of your choice (i.e. ‘FFFFFF’, ‘000000’, etc.). A good place to find hex codes is www.color-hex.com.
COLOR KEYWORDS:
PRIMARY COLOR: Changes the primary banner background color (i.e. personality, appearance, inventory, etc.)
SECONDARY COLOR: Changes the secondary banner background color (i.e. likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, etc.)
LEGEND COLOR: Changes the color of the background for the character relationship legend, ‘list of family members’, and ‘list of non-family relations’.

RANDOM TIPS
Remember that when you are writing blocks of text and wish to break them into a new paragraph, use new
tags. Otherwise, the text will tender as one paragraph or break.
If you wish to create a new tab, all you have to do is add =TAB NAME=, followed by whatever code / text / information you want to put inside of that tab. Likewise, if you wish to remove a tab, remove the =TAB NAME= and the information below it until you get to the next =TAB NAME= that you wish to keep.
URLs work a little funky on wikis. The typical HTML <a href=’www.url.com’>Link Text</a> doesn’t work. To link to another character’s wiki page, type Character Name. To link to an external site, type www.url.com Link Text.
When your wiki is complete and no longer a WIP, you can remove the second line of code (
) from the wiki to remove the huge ‘PAGE IS MASSIVELY WIP!’ message.
