Leah Carsen is a young, shy, and studious woman with an amazingly high interest of aetheric manipulations and other forms of magickial knowledge. She was born and raised in Hyrstmill, a village in the northren area of the Black Shroud close to the capitial city, Gridania. Leah shy nature was an outcome due to her sheltered upbringing. As a young girl she prefered the company of books over the other children, finding the world of magic far more welcoming that the realities of child.

She was trained at the Conjurers Guild at a young age at the behest of her mother, and became skilled in their healing arts at age 16. She then left Gridania and the Black Shroud, filled with wanderlust and yearned to see the World. She recently taken a position as the Chieftain of Magic of the Lynxfang Pride.

Appearance

Leah is a young, thin woman with snow-white skin. She had dark long hair, but was convinced by Reina to allow her to dye her hair auburn, to which she surprisingly likes. She bares the heterochomia gene, having two different colored eyes; A left blue eye and a right green eye.

Leah is very shy and is usually seen in very modest clothing, anything that covers her entire body in public and shows very little skin aside her head or hands. Only among those she consider friends would they see her in a bathing suit were they to swim, but that would be to that extent.

Personality

Leah is a very shy but sweet, caring girl. Her timid nature was most likely a product of her very sheltered upbringing. With little to no experience dealing with others as a child, Leah tends to stutter when speaking and always cowers or retreats back a little when speaking to a single stranger. If more than one stranger approaches her and she is not among friends, she more than likely will flee from the unknown group.

Deborah Carsen - [Mother]

A loving Mother, but great worrywart. Leah's mother was the one whom preferred her young daughter to stay in the house and help her with baking or just read in her room. She would always be comforted knowing her daughter was home. Her desire to keep Leah away from the outside world maybe due to her first husband dying of illness, er second husband up and leaving her and Leah with out a word, and that her son, Leon, was recruited as a Woodwailer, but was missing in action in the North Shroud over 15 years ago.

Leah's father and Deborah's second Husband. Deborah shared little to her daughter about him, but spoke of him fondly, regardless of his sudden leaving. She told Leah of his power and talents as a mage, which may have influenced Leah into pursuing the scholarly path of a magic user.

Tahni'sae Farreihm - [Mate]

Tahni'sae was one of the few first people Leah had met outside of her homeland. She encountered the mysterious keeper when she was hired to heal for a small group of adventurers through Copperbell Mines, to which he offered to guide them. She saw the keeper at first a kindred spirit, a shy soul, wary of unknown faces. The two developed a close friendship almost instantly. Soon, their friendship slowly coerced into love and the two became mates.

K'washi Amada - [Close Friend]

A mischievious young mute, she enjoys the seeker's company when it does not involve her being pranked. Leah met the silent seeker through Tahni'sae and played truth or dare with him. The two also fought side by side when dealing with Tahni'sae crazed mother. She considers K'washi a good friend and trusts him on the battlefield.... anywhere else she needs to be alert for any mischief.

Reina Dancer - [Best Friend]

The two met with Reina stealing from Leah. While that event sparked a sore note, the two surprisingly reconcile and became great friends. Leah finds Reina to be fun and well-meaning, if not a bit off. Most times she could not tell if the woman was lying to her or not. Yet, she could not help but to view Reina as a big sister.

Laen Ruefal - [Old Friend]

This woman was the first person Leah met outside of Gridania and was the catalyst and guide towards offering Leah the social life she has now, even if it is a tad small. Leah finds the woman sweet, honest, and caring, if not a tad odd and somewhat pushy. She will always thank her for taking Leah (or dragging her) into the world of friends and will always assist her however she can.

X'khai Tia - [Dear Friend]

Leah the Daring Seeker through a mutual friend. Their interactions were friendly, despite Leah's instant reflexes to show extreme shyness. Yet, the man was patient and considerate, thus a friendship bloomed instantly.

M'sato Tia - [Friend]

A friend of Reina's. They met when Reina invited Leah over to M'sato's home. The two talked very little and Leah was overly shy to him,as was expected of her. Yet, M'sato invites her to browse his library, which made her open up to him a lot. He even shared a tome of Nymian knowledge and research to her, to which she find unbelievably fascinating. Needless to say, Leah likes the man.

Leah knew Velenn when he was called Evenn at the time and got lost in Ul'dah. She responded to the man fearfully, for he was a stranger and she was still new to Ul'dah. However, after much patient convincing on his end, she relaxed and became friends with the polite Keeper. Alas their friendship, as well as certain feelings towards him, had ended abruptly when Evenn disappeared, leaving only a note to confirm his absence in her life. Months had passed, and she ran into him and instantly recognized him... by appearance... but she is still remained in the dark of why he had left.

Tahni Farreihm - [Hated]

Tahni'sae's mother, and crazed lunatic. Leah met the disturbed female keeper on the outskirts of Ul'dah, badly wounded. She tended and mended her wounds, but her kind act was rewarded with brutality. Leah would've died, were it not for an intervention of a old friend. She escaped with a scarred neck, a reminder of her mortality, as well as to cringe in fear when she hears 'My Pretty'.

Younne Imbertain - [Great Distrust]

Younne was an odd Duskwright that had been caught stalking Leah and has had hinted watching her friends and loved ones from an uncomfortable distance. When Leah first confronted her, Younne only responded in a stoic expression, "We shall reclaim what they forefather took from us." And disappeared. It goes without saying that this woman makes Leah VERY uncomfortable.
