Merlgeim Barazirnwyn (3rd Sun of the Second Astral Moon) is a longtime customs officer who works at Mealvaan's Gate. She genuinely loves to assist people, smiling often and even as she puts up with oh so much bullshite on the daily. Her younger sister is the navigator of the Grymgohta.

Looks & Mannerisms

Merlgeim is a Roegadyn Sea Wolf woman of average height, around seven fulms tall. She has a healthy, voluptuous frame that doesn't sport a lot of muscle. Her skin is dark gray in color, and her face is delicately featured. Violet eyes shine from behind her small spectacles, and seem to smile almost as often as her dark, full lips. She keeps her long, purple-black hair brushed smooth, usually letting it drape over her shoulders.

Biography

1551-1577

Merlgeim was born to a scholarly pair of Roegadyn in 1551. Predictably, she was bright, and her parents saw this and spent much of their time nurturing her and her education. When she was nine her younger sister Dyrstswys was born. Though they loved both of their children equally, Merlgeim maintained most of her parents' focus and attention. When the sisters were eleven and two, respectively, their parents found employment in the newly-founded arcanist's guild of Mealvaan's Gate was founded in 1556. The two sisters grew up surrounded by books, arcanists, scholars, and maritime law, and it was from an early age that Merlgeim decided that she wanted to become a customs officer at Mealvaan's Gate.
