General Information

Miko Shiroi is a melting pot of contradictions. He is the lovechild of a Keeper and a Seeker, as well as both a courtesan and a priest. He is often engaged in the pursuit of pleasure. He seeks out lively conversation, fine wines, and other such luxuries. Some may call him spoiled, but he would call it "appreciating his resources."

Appearance

Miko is an exotic beauty of a Miqo'te. The way he carries himself is elegant and full of confidence. He bears key features of both Keeper and Seeker, but seems to take after his Keeper mother more-so. His skin is peach-toned and bears a clear complexion free of blemishes or scars. He has no freckles and no discoloration. Miko's eyes are a medium-violet hue that lighten or darken with expressiveness. They're delicately framed by thick, white eyelashes. Slit pupils are a decidedly Seeker trait that he has inherited from his estranged father. The eyelids are always adorned with a vibrant, red-orange eye-shadow. Miko's ears are wide at the base, coming to a cupped shape near the end. The tips angle upwards, not unlike devil horns. The insides are rather furry. Possibly his most proud feature, Miko's tail is large and imposing for his race. It is fluffy like a fox's and curls slightly at the tips.

There is a puncture wound scar upon his upper right lip; it is hardly visible at most times due to a generous amount of makeup. Deep mahogany racial markings curl above and below his eyes. Temporary Henna tattoos cover his skin (from neck to toe) and are changed/re-applied daily, most often upon his arms.

Mannerisms

As charming as he is beautiful, Miko always does his best to sweep people off of their feet. He is observant and always on the lookout for what makes a person tick. He has a daily care routine for his hair and tail that he follows rigorously. He has many an aquaintance and few friends; it's a touch difficult to break past his public facade and get to what's hidden underneath.

Philosophy & Ideals

Anything to satisfy a desire. Miko is drawn to the most lavish events and tasteful venues. He is a staunch pacifist and looks down on needless fighting. As such, he's never present at events like The Grindstone or Spellstone or any other such battle tournaments.

Hello, hi! My name is Kyle and I'm the person behind the miqo'te. I'm a 26 year-old transgender male who lives on the East Coast of the United States. I've been roleplaying for about about 12 years. I started off passing rp papers back-and-forth with friends in 8th grade or so and then began roleplaying within online games a few years later when I started playing Tera Online. Fast forward several more years and I found ffxiv. Ever since, I've enjoyed the abundant rp community in what is a wonderfully rp-friendly game.

My Policies

• Availability

  I'm going to be honest on this one. My availability is spotty and has no rhyme or reason as far as a schedule goes. I work for an animal hospital in real life, so my schedules fluctuate a bit and I get my schedules finalized a month or so in advance. The best way to rp with me is to plan in advance or try messaging me if you see me online. If I'm afk-ing in the Quicksand, chances are I've got time.

• RP Style

  I personally tend to paragraph rp. Especially with Miko. Miko is a character that I like to paint a vivid image of. As such, I can get a bit wordy when I respond. I don't expect other to match my paragraph rp unless they just want to. Any kind of rp style you have is fine with me. I just ask that you please be patient if it takes me a hot minute to reply.

• Lore

  I try to be lore-abiding. I really do. Sometimes there's just so much of it, though, that it makes my head spin! If I screw up and say something that breaks lore or doesn't make sense, feel free to correct me. I'll probably be super embarrassed for a bit, but at least I'll have learned! Please try to be lore-abiding when rping with me! I'm not a total stickler for it, though. A little bending is fine. :)
