  Sae is not motivated to act by much. In general, he is only sure to respond when it involves the direct request of someone he feels truly loyal to—and even then sometimes he won't. Sae is most motivated by his wish to survive and his desire to become a part of society again.

Romantic Interest

♥♥ Sekha Saialdhe – Sae met Sekha on his first week of overseeing the Runestone. She was a combatant and instantly caught his attention—to the point that he stared at her overmuch and she confronted him. Over the course of the next few weeks she became increasingly frustrated with him as he refused to tell her his full name, but eventually they came to a sort of understanding and mutual respect. Now she’s displaying several signs of affection, which is confusing the hell out of Sae.

♥♥ Little Shark – An old flame of Sae’s and one of the ones he never truly got over, Little Shark was always a firecracker who amused Sae greatly. The two spent a short, passionate time together before both of their natures burned out the relationship. But now after two years, Sae bumped into Shark again and spent an evening speaking and catching up with him. The evening ended with a kiss, and more than a bit of confusion for them both.

Platonic Love

♥ Leah Carsen – Also known as Leah Leyweaver. Leah is Sae’s oldest friend, greatest love, and closest ally. He will forever be loyal to her just as he will forever love her. But he knows that in light of recent discoveries of who he is, he can never be with her again. So he is settling into the friendship, a deep and fulfilling relationship that gives him the strength to endure the rest of the world.
