Tira Nophi is a bubbly, enlivening and spirited young girl hailing from within the Twelveswood with a (sometimes reckless)spark for adventure, mystery and discovery. They say she may even win the hearts of the most hardiest giants with just one of her sincere, endearing smiles.
Although still young and naive at times which often causes some to hesitate when deliberating whether to take the little green haired girl on board and alongside their adventures; she has been known to be one character true of great loyalty, courage and kindness.
A deinty and petite young midlander with green coloured hair with some light teal strands, tan skin, dark brown eyes with purple tattoos on either side of her face. Tira likes to express her love for nature and devotion to The Matron in various ways whether it be deity inspired embroidered attire, new facepaint patterns or flowers and grass woven into the braids of her hair. She even paints her lips green!
Facial features are soft and her doe-eyed innocent gaze emanates a soothing and almost heart-warming feeling were she to stare into the eyes of one presently experiencing fear or anguish. Her usual hairstyle can be seen often tied into a high ponytail with a braid crowning around the front of her head with some fairly heavy bangs either side.
A distinctive scar lies in the middle of her forehead from just below the hairline to above the right eyebrow.
She likes to wear her sailor shirt and britches when she is to travel by airship alot for long periods of time but when home or in general, she is often in loose and comfortable clothing and some practical leathers for when she returns to the Shroud.
Her main outfit consists of a leathered halterneck top style dress and hotpants with various fastenings securing whatever inventory she carries at the time.
A wooden talisman is kept on her person with an engraving on the back that reads "My Little Leaf". It is sometimes hanging from her neck but she likes to keep it safe from harm and wear inside a satchel.
Voice: Tira's voice resonates softly and sweet with a slight husk beneath her base tone.

Described as a sweet, fun and bubbly little sprite. Tira is a young, loyal and ever-questioning Hyur of Gridania. Her youthful spirit has a yearn for adventure but is sometimes held back by her sense of responsibility to protect the Twelveswood. She is a lover and ardent protector of nature and animals and has a little pet panda that was gifted to her by L'Rinhi Kett that she released into the forest and regularly visits them in an unknown location.
Although she usually seems hesitant to trust unfamiliar faces at first sight she can be naive and is quick to cast aside her doubts in order to see the good in people at the best and worst of times. She has great respect for those who are able to see beyond tragedy and trialing times and tends to have moments to take it upon herself to try and broaden her own mind and abilities.
Raised and taught primarily in the field of archery and bardship. Aquired skills in close quarters combat but her strengths lay in the covert and supportive fields of battle.
Most of Tira's training and work took place in Shroud/Gridanian terrain thus has come to obtain good skills in botany, leatherworking and weaving.
It is said that her focus is seemingly heightened when in her homeland of the great Shroud thus her agile, sharp and proficient skills to navigate and climb the forest are noticably more evident whereas her clumsiness becomes more apparent when in a particular land/terrain that she is not very well accustomed to. E.g Thanalan
This is likely where most of those who associate her clumsiness as a prominent trait of hers may have only met and/or spent time with Tira anywhere else but the Shroud. Nevertheless and either way, those closest to her see it as a running joke and often playfully tease her about it.
Often evades the subject of her background should it ever be addressed by others in conversation. The little we do know about Tira is usually tiny bits of information she may give depending on the situation and environment.
Born in a remote area of the Twelveswood and raised by two very loving parents. Her father a hunter for produce and her mother an astrology enthusiast and fortune teller.
They often travelled and camped all throughout the great Shroud and so they were on the move quite a lot of the time. They lived happily for a short couple of years until a tragic wildfire spread through their encampment and allegedly claimed both Tira's parents as well as other campers nearby.
How Tira survived is unknown as of yet but she was found and taken in by a compassionate Wood Wailer and placed the little leaf haired girl into a small orphanage ran by a kind Elezen matron.
Tira has no known living relatives thus far.
The only thing from her past that remains in her possession that she treasures dearly is the talisman pendant engraved "My Little Leaf" which she rarely removes from her neck.
It is known that she calls herself Tira 'Nophi' [pronounced: no-fee] in honour of the earth deity Nophica.

Her name Tira is a play on a mixture of words and meanings originating from the Hindi name meaning "Arrow" and the Scottish name meaning "Land" alongside the word Terra (meaning "Of the Earth") and a nod to Terra of previous Final Fantasy games VI and IX.
The name Nophi derived from Nophica the Earth deity was used by Tira until she was able to successfully rediscover her family name however she continues to go by the name as a result of growing used to it and becoming apart of her identity.
