Favorite Things
Greatest Achievement: When he was still young, A-Yasa saved a young boy from being attacked by a boar while communing with the Elementals in the South Shroud. Without his intervention, the boy would have likely been gored to death. He has kept abreast of the boy’s development over the years and finds great pride in knowing that the man he grew into rescued dozens of people during the Calamity decades later rather than hiding from the destruction.
Favorite Memory: His arrival at the Sharlayan motherland for the first time.
Favorite Dream: He once dreamed that he was a hawk riding the warm currents far above the canopy of the Twelveswood, able to see to the ends of Eorzea and beyond in every direction. The beauty of it still affects him when he recalls the sensation. A-Yasa is not sure if the dream is prophetic or not.

Least-Favorite Things
Greatest Failure: When he went to war 108 years ago against the Ala Mhigan forces with the rest of Gridania, he left behind his mother and younger sisters. Thinking them safest at home, he spent two years entrenched in the Autumn War’s conflicts only to discover upon his return that Saewynn, his youngest sister, had contracted a respiratory disease that was incurable and has passed away with much pain only two days prior to his arrival. He berates himself silently for having spent so little time with her that he can no longer recall her face from any other child’s.
Most Painful Memory: His mother’s dementia grew untenable in her dotage to the point that she would regularly speak with both of her late children while A-Yasa cared for her. Seeing her in such obvious pain even after sixty years without their companionship drew him to tears.
Worst Nightmare: Much like those gifted with the Echo after the Battle of Silvertear Skies, A-Yasa dreamed of a sky filled with falling pink stars that was a portent of the Calamity to come.
