Aloyv Riordan is a Bard from Ul'dah with nobel status. His mother comes from long line of textile and apparel merchants, currently running the family business with his step father acting as both a co-owner as well as legal counsel. Despite being born into a life of privilege, Aloyv himself is a bit of an anomaly. While his Hyur mother was still young, she managed to fall for an Elezen sell sword, who hadn't even stayed around long enough to find out she was with child with him as the father. Despite being a bastard child as well as carrying the blood of Hyur and Elezen, his mother still raised him with genuine love and care like any good mother should. While Aloyv was still a child, his mother had married another noble, who eventually treated Aloyv like he were his own. This however did not protect him from the scorn of the Ul'dah elite. He was often the victim of ridicule and treated with disdain by many of his social class, seeing him as a mistake. Because of this, Aloyv found himself feeling very distant amongst the social circles of his parents, leading him to find more interest in mingling with folk on the lower class streets of Ul'dah. However here too he found himself a foreigner. Many saw him as just another obnoxious noble, tone deaf and apathetic to the plight of the the common folk. As he grew older, he began to understand his place, walking on a thin line between both sides of the city, and saw it as an opportunity to try and make his home a better place for everyone who lived behind its walls. With a natural talent for music as well as adept diplomatic insight, he desires to bring people together and spark a movement of positive change, both at home and in all the realm.

Personal RP Limits
■ I will play Anything from friendships, to romance, to rivalry. Perfectly fine with mature content. I'm especially fond of anything relating to the arts, politics, philosophy, and things relating to "the mysteries of the universe". More involved plot is always welcome as long as it allows interaction on my part.
■ Ask about Things of romance. Being that I'm gay, I find it more comfortable to RP out situations that align with that idea (though cis/trans/and non-binary folk are always welcome). E-RP is probably gonna be a nope, but only because I feel there needs to be some level of depth for that. Controversial and political things regarding discrimination (racial, gender, etc) I'm open to, but it must be considered and written VERY carefully. More long term complications (injury, being captured, etc) will have to be discussed in detail.
■ I won't play Not keen on killing off this character. Also anything remotely close to non-consensual interactions is gonna be a huge NOPE.
