An Ala Mhigan Keeper of the Moon who is a former prostitute turned Adventurer who is seeking to reunite with his estranged older sister. A Miqo'te who is slightly taller than your average one, he gives off a rather intimidating aura, brimming with masculinity. Although he may seem confident, cocky, proud & believes he can sweep any woman or man off their feets with his charms, he is actually an extremely insecure man. The flaunting of his masculinity and sexuality is merely his only shield to defend the true, fragile man he really is due to his own troubled past.

His attitude combines well with his appearance; if he were a Seeker of the Sun, one would surely assume he would be a Nunh due to his aura brimming with masculinity & intimidation. These traits are perhaps formed through his slightly taller than average height for a Miqo'te, standing at 5'11 and his overall muscular physique which he has no problem flaunting at through his occasionally revealing choice of attire. Although the occasional scars on his his chest, hips & backs were from inflicted wounds during his days as a slave, he doesn't care about them; seeing that some scars can be a charm to his potential one-stand partners.
His hair is jet black like the night skies, combined with sky blue streaks which gives him a blue tip for his long, restless tail. Like any typical dweller under the darkness, his pupils are dilated, giving minimal view of his irises. On both sides of his face is adorned with aqua blue traditional Keeper of the Moon tattoos. Cain'a's skintone is best described as olive; neither light nor tan, but has green undertones which best fit the name. His left ear is usually adorned with an earring, which is a memento of his family, given to him by his older sister, once originally held by his mother.
Being an adventurer, he usually dresses in full gear with some personal touch to it. He is usually clad in an entirely black attire, with his top tightly forming around his abs to highlight his muscles. However, the material is thick, therefore it doesn't explicitly highlight the lines of his body. The only parts of his attire which isn't black are his gloves & belt which has many utilities & tools for his travels, made out of brown leather.

Cain'a's voice is equally as intimidating as his overall aura; he has a loud, booming voice which is rather deep. Yet, when one is able to surpass his usual attitude to his calmer side, his voice would soften, speaking slightly more deeper than usual. Voice ref. Jun Fukuyama.
The all around piece of shit; immature, aggressive, foul-mouthed, promiscuous and vulgar. He does everything to make himself look like the strongest, toughest and the baddest in his group as a way to impress everyone. However, this exterior of shit is only a facade to hide his true self; an insecure, low-esteemed and confidence lacked man whose self worth has been ruined by the years of abuse. Within the shit lies a strong heart of gold; protective and passionate for things and those he truly loves.
Likes
Having sex. During his time as a sex slave, sex was basically the only thing he knew to relieve all of his stress. Although he is freed from the chains of slavery, he still has problems controlling his carnal impulses, thus giving into lustful seductions easily to relieve himself and boost his ego.
Cooking. As a child growing up in Little Ala Mhigo, some of the residents liked to call him their town cook, as he had quite a knowledge of what tastes good and bad thanks to his sensitive tongue and nose, which makes him gifted in the culinary arts. Many residents enjoyed the little Miqo'te's meals while he was there. He knows many recipies by memory and can master them within a few attempts. Cain'a especially enjoys baking his family's original bread recipe.
Shooting with his Musket. He enjoys the adrenaline of shooting down and hunting. Often he would sometimes bring bloody dead creatures to his home to butcher and cook into meats for food.
Smoking. The nicotine shooting across his bloodstream is something he enjoys having. Therefore, he would never adventure without a pack of cigarettes.
Drinking. Although he usually down cheap ales and beers, due to Cain'a's rather refined tongue for cooking, he does enjoy the occasional expensive wines and spirits when he has the chance to.
Dislikes
Garleans. As they were the people responsible for taking over his homeland, he does have a natural dislike against the Imperials. If there is a mission for an adventurer to take down the Garlean soldiers, he would gladly accept them to avenge what was taken from him.
Nosy people. He finds them annoying, especially those who try to peep past his masculine exterior into the vulnerable man he really is, and why he is like that.
Slavers. He knows all too well what it is like to have no freedom, be chained literally & metaphorically for at least five summers till the calamity struck. He will never forgive the people who enslaved him, as well as those who rented him out for a night and did whatever they want with his body.
Fears
Losing his sister forever. Being the last surviving member of his family (aside his biological father whom he has never met.) & the only person who truly cared about him deeply growing up, this is one thing which can break him down easily.
Spiders, Yarzons or any arachnid-like creatures. He especially hates these eight-legged creatures. The bigger, the further he will run away.
Having his masculinity compromised. The fragile masculinity is the only shield he has to boost his own ego, which is why he often gets into alpha dog fights.

Cain'a's name is slightly derived from the traditional Keeper of the Moon naming conventions for males. When his mother was pregnant with him, she was rescued by a highlander man from an imperial soldier, who offered her a room in his inn to stay at as she was heavily pregnant at the time. Letting her pride down slightly, she accepted the man's kind offer, where she got the rest she needed to deliver her child safely. Thanks to the highlander man, Cain, who became the namesake for her son.
Cain'a has a traditional Keeper of the Moon seal on his forehead which acts like a protective seal against evil in his tribe. However, he gets rather flustered when people catches a glimpse of it as he always hides it under his bangs.

Cain'a Olga was born to an Ala Mhigan family of Keepers who hailed from the East End, near the borders of Gridania three years after the Garlemald took over the Gyr Abanian lands. Although he does not remember much about his own homeland, he remembers his older sister Anna telling him the struggles his mother went through to keep her children alive and safe while attempting to preserve their traditions as much as they could from the oppressive grip. When Cain'a was two summers old, his mother made up her mind to escape to Gridania and find sanctuary for herself and her children, therefore she made the daring attempt to escape. However, during the process, his mother was killed, leaving only his sister carrying her little baby brother in her arms towards safety. Although Anna tried to blend in with the Keepers of Gridania, she realized the laws against poaching made it difficult to sustain their traditional lifestyle, thus heading to Thanalan where she briefly settled in Ul'dah. Lead by the promises of gold, Anna realized that the Capitalist mentality of Ul'dah also made it impossible to make a proper living there, thus migrating again through the hot, arid desert, eventually settling in Little Ala Mhigo, where the other miserable refugees are, unable to find a new life for themselves.
Although the hot, arid deserts of Southern Thanalan alongside the dangers of the faunas and the Amal'jaas made it difficult to keep the hyper little Miqo'te to not get himself into trouble, Cain'a nontheless had a happy childhood life growing up. When he was approximately five summers old, the adults in the settlement were astonished to see the young Miqo'te boy manifesting a talented gift in the arts of cooking. Hearing from the traditional Keeper of the Moon recipes his sister has told him about, Cain'a made his own twists to the food using the limited food sources. The refugees were introduced to new food such as Sabotender Miqa'bob, Peistetail Miqa'bob and the beloved Sabotender drinks to quench from the hot air.
His life changed when he was twelve summers old, when Anna promised her little brother that she will leave for a while to find a new job and life for the two. Many days, then moons passed. His sister never came home. Cain'a was devastated when he realized that something has befallen onto his beloved older sister which perhaps caused her disappearance. Yearning to return at her side, Cain'a left Little Ala Mhigo, throwing himself into the various perils from the faunas to the Amal'jaas. As he searched and searched, crying out for his older sister, and the other residents of Little Ala Mhigo when he realized he strayed too far, not knowing how to go home, he heard a voice from the distance. As he approached, a group of men promised they would take him to his older sister. Relieved, he followed these men...Only to be bound and blindfolded, then shipped off on a chocobo carriage to gods knows where.
When the blinds were taken off, he realized he was in Ul'dah, at a slave market he once saw. That was when the realization dawned upon him that he was caught and enslaved, ready to be sold off. When Cain'a was bought, he was stripped off his clothes, then sent into a room with an noblelady where the unimaginable nightmares started for him. For five summers, Cain'a's mind and body was violated and abused to the whims of the slavers and their clients. At first, he prayed to Rhalgr that his sister would eventually find him and take him home, but it was apparent that it was never going to happen and he will be bound until he was sold again or if his pimp was dead.
Five summers later, when Cain'a was seventeen summers old, the Calamity which devastated most of Eorzea struck. The events killed off his slaver, thus taking this chance to free himself and leave the hellhole he was in for the last five years. Although he was free, Cain'a's many traumas made it difficult for him to find a long lasting labor to sustain himself some money, which eventually lead him to becoming an independent prostitute, selling his body to lustful dirty men and women. Another five summers past, seeing that the city of Ul'dah was being rebuilt, while Cain'a was still essentially in the same place he was at before the Calamity struck. He wanted a change, badly. He wanted to be free from the constant humiliation he has been facing for many summers.
The change finally dawned upon him when rumors matching Anna were spread around in the Adventurer's guild, the QUicksand. Finally finding some lead to where his sister could be, Cain'a pledged himself to become an adventurer, finally able to grab the reins of his own life.

Personal RP Limits
■ I will play mature content and themes (violence, sexuality, drug / alcohol use) as long as they're logical in a plot-driven encounter. Coarse and excessive language. Temporary injury and incapacitation. Temporary imprisonment. Most walk-up encounters. I am generally very open with most ideas. However, erotic roleplay will be practiced upon a highly selective basis; usually if I feel there is some sort of plot or connection between our characters. Although Cain'a is very sexual and may up and make sexual remarks or suggestive thoughts, I will ultimately be selective with ERPs.
■ Ask about long-term and/or permanent injury and disfigurement. Long-term captivity or imprisonment.
■ I won't play permanent character death or rape plots. Although I am comfortable writing about Cain'a's past during his time as a slave, I am not comfortable acting out non consensual or rape scenes.

■ An important note to know is that Cain'a is a FFXIV AU for a canon character I roleplay, specifically Cain from the webcomic Starfighter. If you are not comfortable writing with crossover AU characters like Cain'a, I do have other characters you can interact with.
■ I am 22 years old, therefore I am more than legal to write ERP. However, all I will ask is that you DO NOT lie about your age to me for obvious safety and legal reasons. I had problems with minors lying about their age in their past, therefore if I find you are lying about your age, whether you admit it to me or I find out myself, I will drop all interactions.
■ I can do one-liners, paragraphs and encounters. I consider myself flexible so I am more than happy to do roleplay mediums off FFXIV, such as on tumblr or discord!
