Chaotic Good-ish General Information A young Seeker of the Sun who lives at the Carline Canopy with an unusual story- she remembers none of her life before the Calamity, when she was brought to the Carline Canopy to recover from serious wounds suffered during the battle. Lancer and odd-job-doer by day, traveler by night, Caleria works hard to save up for trips all over Eorzea to try and jump-start her lost memory- a task proving to be much, much harder than imagined. Right now, it seems the smell of Ishgardian-style braised pipira has caught her attention, but a trip to Ishgard has not gained her any new clues. What will she do now...? ❝ C'mon, let's go! What are you waiting for? ❞ Appearance Eyes Hair Skin Build Voice Green Black Lightly Tanned Lithe Cheerful Bearing Laterality Scars Markings Style Purposeful Right-handed None visible Facial decorations Comfortable yet effective Hair & Eyes Caleria tends to tie her hair up when she's out in combat- after one too many snags and losing hunks of hair in her helmets, she simply tends to braid it when she goes out into the field so she can tuck them up into the top of her helmet. When she's just lounging around town, she leaves it down- save for a hairband that keeps it out of her eyes. Her hair- black as a moonless night- contrasts her eyes, which are green as sun-dappled leaves, to hear one drunken patron say it, yet the same as the other Miqo'te- slit pupils and everything. Physique & Markings The only markings that Caleria seems to have visible are the stripes upon her face- she keeps these in top condition, and even keeps a small tin of color to keep them perfect. It might be a way that someone recognizes her, after all... but as far as her physique, all that lancing and training and running around has kept her in remarkably good shape- it turns out that no matter what you eat, or how much of it, as long as you put in the hours, you manage to gain a pretty toned body- though she's more toned and lithe than completely muscular. Hygiene & Attire Rule 1: Never get between Caleria and a hot bath. She absolutely cannot stand the feeling of greasy, grimy hair or greasy, grimy her- and if it's been a couple of days, she's liable to pull out a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo and go looking for a creature-free pond she can wash in. She seems to love fruit-or-flower based shampoos, and the fragrance has given her away a few times (some batches are just more potent than others...). As far as attire, Caleria prefers to just keep wearing her armor, but has been known to dig out a casual outfit a few times if she gets confident enough. She wore a swimsuit once, out to the beach- at night, to try to keep people from seeing her in it. While she may not have the confidence to wear them out by herself, she does have the curves in the right places to make the clothes look good. Personality Psychological Profile The big thing here is that while on the outside, Caleria may seem awfully happy-go-lucky, the amnesia is playing a big role in that. Beyond several small nuggets and threads, she has no memory of life before the Calamity- and if those memories should ever come back, well... what would it do to her? For the moment, though, she seems happy and balanced enough. However, late at night, there are times when she will lie awake in her bed, unable to banish the worries from her mind... Voice Her voice is rather sweet, and somewhat pleasant to listen to- as long as she doesn't sing. She's completely tone-deaf. Philosophy & Mannerisms "You can smile, or you can frown. And smiling is a heck of a lot more fun than frowning- unless you have a good reason." Caleria tends to just wear her heart on her sleeve- if she's mad, it's easy to tell. If not, more than likely she's happy. Life is a goft from the Light, she believes, so each day ought to be as packed as possible. History All Caleria can remember is waking up at the Carline Canopy, all bandaged and bruised and bashed-up. Ever since then, she's been making a living battling the beast tribes, gathering things from the forest, and taking on other odd jobs such as levequests, leatherworking, construction and cooking. Somehow, im between all that, she's managed to make a stable life for herself. She's lived in Gridania for the last few years, but has taken extended trips to Ishgard and Limsa Lominsa to chase nuggets of memories. Disclaimer: Everything here might change on a moment, depending on what Caleria learns about herself, but I'll try to keep it all straight. Watch this space! Sixth Astral Era Childhood Unknown. Pesky pain-in-the-tail amnesia. Seventh Umbral Era Adulthood Training, learning as many jobs as she can, taking extended trips to try and trigger some memories. In Recent Times Moving Forward Returned to the Carline Canopy from a fruitless trip to Ishgard. Settling back into a routine of guildhests and odd jobs to save up more money.
