Remarkably tall and brilliantly smart, Cele can often been found reading, cooking, or generally watching people as they pass. He is, at times, quiet, seeming almost shy, but can likewise appear outrageously flirty and confident. When alone and under the impression no one is watching him, most would describe him as beautiful and sad looking. Cele spends some Sundays filling in as bartender at the Drunken Moogle Pub. Free company is Drunken Moogle <DM-RP> on Balmung. Your Character's Inventory Cele doesn't carry much with him. Gil, lube, and a staff or wand. Hair: Very light blond which becomes even lighter if he spends a lot of time in the sun. Eyes: Icy blue Cele has a very chiselled facial structure with full lips and high cheekbones. He is built like a fashion model. Well-defined muscle but not bulky. He has a pleasant voice and always smells pleasant, usually of something faintly citrusy. At first glance, most people will simply notice how tall he is for a Miqo'te. Depending on Cele's interest in a person he may appear either aloof or confidently flirtatious. In either case, however, he is usually polite unless someone gives him reason not to be. He often makes self-deprecating jokes and tends to shy away from conversations about love, relationships, Cartenau, and his past. After spending some time getting to know Cele one would realize that he puts up a facade. To those he knows, he is sensitive and one soon starts to see those self-deprecating jokes aren't really jokes to him. Though seeming sad and lonely at times he will outright resist any offers of "help" unless you are someone he is very close to. He would argue that his most powerful weapon is his mind, though. Magic Cele's job is magical and aetherical research for the Maelstrom. He is sent to various places to learn about various types of magic, including ones officially forbidden by the Eorzean Alliance. The aim of his research is to enable the Maelstrom to have people knowledgeable in all types of magic should the city ever come under threat from them. It is therefore, Cele's job to learn all types of magic. Crafting Though he doesn't do it as a profession he is very fond of sewing and cooking. Birth and childhood (0-10) Cele was born in Southern Thanalan into the Jaguar tribe. His father, an ageing Nunh was offered a very young woman from a neighbouring clan as somewhat of a peace offering between the two tribes. Soon after arriving in her new clan, the woman was pregnant and gave birth to Cele. Cele was unlike most of the children sired by the Nunh. He was tall and blond with little affinity in archery or lances and showing even at the tender age of four, an adeptness at arcane magic. It was soon revealed that Cele was not the son of the Nunh, but a Tia and outcast of his mother's old tribe. Though tribal law gave the Nunh the right to kill the kit who was not his, he had developed a special fondness for Cele and had even been accused of spoiling the boy and giving him special treatment because of his fair skin and hair. Instead of harming the boy, he banished him and his mother from the tribe. Cele and his mother then travelled to Vylbrand to live with Cele's biological father when Cele was eight. The man who had actually sired him was the source of his looks and also his affinity for arcane magic. As time went on, however, the man exhibited more and more signs of a broken mind, ignoring Cele's mother (who by then spent most of her time in Limsa Lominsa, abandoning her son and former lover) and Cele. Teen Years Cele decided at eleven to run away back to his old tribe. He made it to Thanalan but his banishment still stood with the Nunh he had originally thought was his father. Sent back to Vylbrand, he came to the conclusion that he had no other option but to make it on his own (by then his biological father had stopped speaking altogether). Selling what few belongings the boy had managed to gather together, he made his way back to Thanalan and to Ul'dah where he would attempt to take jobs as a retainer or errand boy. Though that was his plan, a young vulnerable teen was soon taken advantage of in the city, and soon he was employed mainly in selling his body. Though he despised the work and it affected him deeply, he was able to make enough gil to eat and was at times, 'kept' by wealthy people where he had quite a few luxuries. It was during this time he met his first boyfriend, a young noble called Evan who hired him to cook and clean for him. Having been offered the chance to work keeping his clothes on, Cele jumped at the chance. Over the course of a year, Cele and Evan grew very close and eventually formed a very happy, strong relationship. An archer for the Twin Adders, Evan was sent to fight at Cartenau. Cele who was young and stupid followed. He had been training as an arcanist for some time and felt he was prepared. It was on that battlefield that he witnessed Evan being killed as well as the deaths of countless others. Still affected by the sights he saw, he rarely speaks of what he witnessed. Adulthood Though Cele was still not even legally an adult yet, after Cartenau, he had begun feeling the effects of what he had been through, both as a banished then abandoned child, a teenager forced into the flesh trade, and a firsthand witness to the Battle of Cartenau. He struggled with his mental state and moved to Gridania where he befriended a group of struggling young women and girls who were being terrorised by their abusive Nunh. When the Nunh found out that Cele had been hanging around these women (in a strictly platonic friendship way), the Nunh beat the women senselessly, threatened them with death and traumatized them even further. Recognizing these women were broken to the point that they were too frightened to even leave, he challenged the Nunh and bested him in battle. Looking back, he would wonder if his victory was simply the build-up of years of anguish and pain coming out in a single fight. The women, decided instead of leaving tribal life, would consider Cele their Nunh, then, even though Cele's sexual preference meant he has not fathered any kits. After years if wandering aimless from one-night-stand to the next, he met his next long term partner, Aethelir Isnbeau. Though his first love was Evan, if pressed, he'd name Aeth as his true love. The two got along famously and for the first time since before he was kicked from his tribe, he felt safe, wanted, and truly happy. Though many years his senior, Cele and Aeth's bond was strong and healthy. However, as time went on, Aeth began to exhibit a certain amount of distance. When Cele had met the man, he'd told the young Seeker that he was a self-proclaimed hermit and though Cele didn't see him as too reclusive, he gradually grew more and more introverted. In the last few weeks of their relationship, Aeth took to locking himself in his study or secluding himself in his garden. Feeling the familiar feelings of abandonment that he did when his biological father went mad, Cele ended the relationship though he does often return to the Elezen's estate to make sure he is physically well. He spent the next year, meeting new people and trying to get over his fear of growing close to people. Spending time with several people, namely Thurius Emberdawn, Hali'a Evlo and Barnabaix Lothaire, Cele was able to somewhat recover from having to leave a man he considered the great love of his life. Though coping he's had a few dark periods that he's had issues working through. He's recently become involved with Aronil Reneux, a Gridanian Elezen who, despite trying, can't deny he's developed feelings for. Please feel free to add your own rumors under PC! Cele particularly likes the man since he makes the Miqo'te actually like himself when he's around him. ♥●Barnabaix Lothaire: An Ishgardian empathic Elezen that Cele can't help but find attractive. Were it just down to personality and looks, Cele would be all over the man, however, Barnabaix's empathic abilities make Cele wary of him as Cele is someone who feels he needs to hide his feelings sometimes. ●Thurius Emberdawn: A lovely Ishgardian Hyuran man Cele has been on dates with. He enjoys his company very much though feels perhaps the man is a little too submissive for Cele's tastes sexually and romantically speaking. He enjoys spending time with the man though and particularly finds happiness in their shared love of old books. ●Hali'a Evlo: Though not normally attracted to Miqo'te, Cele couldn't help but find this man fascinating. Sharing a love of fashion with him, he immediately found a bond with him. Coupled with Hali'a's insistance of 'taking care' of the Seeker, he was immediately drawn to him, though reluctant given the Keeper man's marital status. ●Etienne Clairemont: An Ishgardian Elezen Cele had the pleasure of meeting in a bar one morning. He finds the man charming and attractive though realizes he 'missed his chance' with the Elezen now in a relationship. Despite this, he still enjoys their chats, especially as they seem to have similar backgrounds. ♥●Meela Jakyya: His boss at the Drunken Moogle, and just someone he admires greatly both because he finds her incredibly sexy, and also because of her skill in thaumaturgy. ●Bexli Nelhah: His personal healer and good friend, Bex'li is one of the few people he confides in honestly and without fear of judgement. What I am looking for/interested in: Always on the lookout for new people to plot with, RP with, play established friendships with. Doesn't matter if it's a one off scene or a long storyline. What I will NOT RP: While I do ERP it must be in the context of my character's feelings. If my character develops a sexual interest in a character then sure it might happen.
