Basic Info
Grish'a "Silver Cat" Zolnerowich is a foreign Miqo'te from a snowy land someplace now under Garlean control. Little is known about this place other than it is cold, harsh, and full of bears. Grish'a acts as both a mechanic and teacher at a free company dedicated to the improvement of less fortunate individuals through training and education. Grish'a has a few lines to his face and despite his advanced age (for a miqo'te) he is still quite active. Grish'a is known for his horrible accent, his tendency to wrestle bears, and his odd stories from way back when.

Appearance & Personality
Grish'a is tall for a miqo'te. Built as well. Standing around 5'10 he has rakish features and flared fur on his ears and tail. Often times he does not keep his hair and beard up, giving off a wilder look than he actually wants to present. A few lines are present on his face and his features a tad sunken from age. Most notable is his size. A tad more muscular than typical miqo'te. What he lacks in speed in his old age he makes up for in strength. Not well known, but he his right leg was lost in his travels from Garlean controlled territory during the war and as a result he has a mechanical leg of his own design. He prefers leather clothing, though he sometimes enjoys a nice fluffy coat.
Grish'a is picky from person to person. Sometimes he can be sweet and sometimes he can be stern. With younger people under his care he often seems unfair, even cruel in his actions but more often than not he simply wants them to toughen up so they can survive. He has never known what it is like to raise a child mostly because of the nature of Keeper tribes. Despite this Grish'a has developed an adoration of children, often going out of his way to help and support them, even with something as little as food or giving away wind-up toys of his own creation.
Despite his friendliness toward others Grish'a understands the harshness of the world and will do whatever it takes to survive. When he wants to make a point very clear he will slow down his speech, being careful to make sure what he is saying is understood. When it comes to the law and being wronged Grish'a would prefer lesser punishments for people and is not quick to put someone down if they have wronged him.
Biography
Childhood
- Grish'a grew up under the Mountain, an affectionate nickname for his mother who, when he didn't eat his soup one day, was thrown off the side of a cliff and told to survive. This would start the downward hate spiral that was Grish'a and his initiation into adulthood. His mother taught him always to make peace with the fact he wasn't going to live with them beyond his teenage years and that he needed to learn to survive on his own. This harsh love would follow Grish'a for the rest of his life and eventually result in his pushing his blind son down the stairs while yelling "SURPRISE ATTACKING!" It was during this time in his life that he enjoyed ice fishing, dog sledding, and hunting. Even at a young age Grish had an interest in how things work. When merchants and wanderers came in with wagons and the like Grish'a would always watch how they worked on things. This would eventually lead him to start trying to build his own projects at home and a young miqo'tes attempts at reinventing the wheel.
Teenage
- It was in his teen years that the Garleans would come. His home was small, not worth mentioning, and felt like a pit stop of conquest on the Garlean War Machine's path toward bigger better targets. Grish'a would prove a most annoying fly to swat. Using gorilla tactics and his ingenuity he would escape, helping others of his tribe along the process. From this time until his young adult years Grish'a would travel through Garlean controlled territory, sabotaging equipment and being a menace. When the heat became too much the foreign miqo'te would find himself in Eorzea where others like him had fled to find shelter and attempt to rebuild their lives. It would be here that Grish'a would adventure. Building toys, putting on a mask and wrestling in the arena, fighting lizard people and befriending them, and any other number of strange or unusual tales he may tell when prompted.
Present
- Grish'a currently works with an Eorzean free company that specializes in education and rehabilitation. While he is not a direct teacher or leader in the institution that doesn't stop him from bellyaching and speaking his mind on matters pertaining to the school. His primary role is transportation and maintenance, keeping up repairs on equipment while he works on building the company's airship. When he isn't working for the company he does freelance work, travels around looking for scrap from the myriad of conflicts that dot the land, and sometimes goes on an adventure for nostalgic purposes.
