General Information
Janira is a proud Xaela of the steppes, and carries herself as such. Having been born to a tribe that shuns worded communication, Janira is often seen as skeptical of most, and rude to others when they try to speak to her. Though having spent some time in Eorzea and traversing the Star, she is learning that others will sometimes prove their words true.

Psychological Profile
Janira is a reserved and calculated woman. Often choosing to observe those around her rather than attempting to mingle. While not against cordiality or company, Janira will often appear judgmental when being spoken too, finding words to be lies, there is ever keen disbelief upon her face until show otherwise. She is also known to be a determined and competitive person, striving to better herself at any moment, often going out of her way to find more difficult trials. Janira is proud to the point of arrogance at times, and often leads herself to trouble, 'biting off more than she can chew'. Despite this, Janira is often seen as calm and collected, never truly rushing off recklessly, unless she believes it a necessary risk.
Voice
Born to the Qestir tribe, Janira was never taught speech, nor has ever concerned herself with the matter. Her silence is only ever broken should an involuntary chuckle resound deftly from her lips.
Philosophy & Mannerisms
Janira, like all Qestir believes that words are lies, and conducts her everyday life influenced by this fact. While remaining cordial, and attentive to others around her, the xaela often reserves her interactions with others, and can often be seen as unsociable. This however isn't wholly true, as she will commonly accept others company, and is at times a host to her friends. Hailing from Reunion, the village that was founded on the belief of the one Xaela tribe, Janira attempts to maintain a neutral relation to all Xaela regardless of tribes, an idea which as carried over to the peoples of Eorzea. Never seeking to make enemies or cause conflict, Janira will most often seek the most peaceable solution to a problem, but will not hesitate to fight should she deem it necessary. Janira also refuses to kill those whom she fights.

Steppe Born : Having been raised on the Steppes the majority of her life, Janira is not ignorant of hardships. She is extremely proficient at providing for herself, and has no qualms with being left to the wilds.
Combat Abilities
Rapid strikes : Janira is an urelenting fighter, and nigh merciless, often pressing her opponents with quick, yet powerful burst.
Mudra : Having been taught Doman ninjutsu, Janira has the ability to cast various 'spells' by forming symbols with her hands. (Rarely used)
Martial Arts : Janira's fighting form is a varient of Doman martial arts, mixed with Xaelaian wrestling. Her strikes are fluid, and precise but she is not a stranger to throwing, or slamming her oppoents.

Sixth Astral Era
Childhood
Born in the village of Reunion to herders Temujin, and Yutah, Janira's life started out quite simple. Her early years were peaceful, and blissful. It wasn't until the Garlean Empire invaded Othard did her life truly change. At the age of seven, Janira met a Doman refugee whom would begin to train the silent yet curious girl in various forms of combat, beginning with hand to hand, and eventually working her way to various weapons. All the while, the young xaela would practice wrestling with her father and the other children of the tribe, a fact that would lead to her strong competitiveness. As Janira grew, her martial studies became the most prominent thing to her, often leaving the village for days or weeks to train afar with her master, and learn of the Garlean tyrants that plagued the continent of Othard. Yet, as her master insisted she join the fight along side her, Janira would withdraw. Finding no need to engage in a conflict already lost, despite the atrocities committed. Believing the fight not against her people, Janira would refuse to join the resistance and would withdraw to her village for the remainder of her youth.

Seventh Umbral Era
Adulthood
It wasn't until her mid twenties did Janira again recieve news of her master, the Doman woman had returned to the steppes. As Janira sought her location, it would be revealed that she had came to seek Janira to carry on her mantle. Reluctantly, the Xaela would accept if only to find and train a successor of her own for the task. Alas, one night as she searched a local village in the neighboring region of Yanxia, Janira would bear witness to immense atrocities, as the Garlean occupation rounded up young men and women, taking them from their homes. It angered the xaela, and she vowed to herself to see those people, and all people like them free. She would begin to work against the empire, separate the Resistance, often sneaking into Garleans Castrums to free prisoners and escort them to safety. At times, simply ambushing patrols and incapacitating them to hinder their movements across the counrtyside. After learning of a new occupation preparing in a foreign realm, Janira made preperations to leave othard. She would arrive on the continent of Aldernard some years later, at the age of 30, where she once more began to operate against Garlean forces until the Eorzean Alliance pushed them back.

In Recent Times

As conflict between the Empire and it's enemies has come to an end, Janira happily finds herself traveling the world with her companion.

RP Limits
I find myself a rather varied player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios. Albeit I will admit, far-fetched stories, or overly powerful/mary sue type characters do not keep my attention. It is not fun if you're nigh god-like/unhurtable. I will not ERP with you! If such intimacy should rise between our characters, I will fade to black the scene. It is uncessary for story progression to detail such scenes out, imo.
I will play Fighting, dark/mature, casual/short-term, long-term.
Ask about long-term.
I won't play Character death or severe injury(ex; loss of limb),Erotic.
RP Hooks
While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for walk-up RP. ■ Members of the Qestir tribe could know Janira rather easily. Members of other Xaela tribes could also be acquainted with her, or have interactions with her in Reunion, maybe she mediated a conflict betwixt you and another, perhaps she "escorted" you out of Reunion for law breaking..
