Gridania is earth tones, dark browns and luscious greens. She is a fawn white mottled with dirt brown and would look more at home in Thanalan than the Shroud. As she itches her face, you realize the splotches are not dirt, but a variation on her skin tone. Strange, and rare. It makes the almost violently magenta tattoo near her right eye stand out all the more. She sweeps a stray soft pink bit of her hair out of her eyes, tucking it back into her bun. There is a bluish-pink hue to some of it, but at this distance it is impossible to say whether or not it is natural. It was made to be practical more than stylish anyway. She reaches up and adjusts her glasses. Jeweler's glasses, by the looks of them, though she carries no tools on her person. Behind the purple frames peek out blue, almost white eyes. They glance from side to side as she begins to idly dance around the aetheryte. Waiting, watching, intent on each person. Whatever she is waiting for, you find yourself hoping she finds it soon. Scars & Markings: Small minor burns on her hands. Voice: Second soprano. Clothing: Practical style in flashy colors, generally blue or purple. Jelili is an affable, friendly Lalafell. This emotional consistency tends to calm others, as they are drawn to her enthusiasm. Her expressions are easily readable and she tends to show them with her whole body, rather than just her face. You see, Jelili never really stops moving. When she is happy, she sings, dances, and generally wiggles about. When she is depressed, she tends to sway back and forth. When angry, she can stomp her feet and pace about. To her, the highest goal is to help the weak and the vulnerable. Her martial prowess goes towards defending settlements, or other targets given to her by her Grand Company, the Order of the Twin Adders. Jelili lives not for the thrill, but for the accomplishment, the knowledge that one more person can rest easy. As such, she takes the death of people particularly hard. Her religion is one of life. In her daily life, she is determined, decisive, and imaginative - everything you would expect of a Bard. However, this can cause her to ignore risks and not be able to see the small details, if she’s not careful. Especially on the battlefield, she can be swept up in the excitement.
