Kallisto is blessed with a sweet, attractive face which often seems at odds with her bad temper. She has softly tanned skin and a spattering of freckles across her nose. She has long golden hair, which she wears loose around her face. She's wise enough to know that the more attractive she looks, the easier it is to find someone to provide food and a bed for the night. She's happiest in leather and rough cloth, favouring quick movement over heavy protection.
Sharp-tongued and short-tempered, Kallisto relies on her pretty face and natural charm to get her out of trouble. Her quick wit and genuine enjoyment of life mean she's never short of company, but she finds it hard to form lasting bonds. Surviving on the backstreets of Ul'dah with no parents has led to her being naturally wary of strangers, and unknowingly selfish. She's a survivor at heart, and will do anything it takes to get by even if that means being lawfully or morally in the grey area. She's rough around the edges, but is fiercely loyal and generous to the few people she lets in.

Kallisto was born to a single mother, who entrusted her to the care of the residents of Pearl Lane in Ul'dah, returning only to deliver a new sibling every now and then. She grew up quickly, learning to pickpocket and scrape by enough to care for her family. She has particularly strong bonds with her twin brother Kass and her younger sister Kantrip to whom she feels a duty of protection towards.
As a young woman, aching to explore the world and better her position, she fell in love with Freya Deerheart. The highland woman utilised Kalli’s pickpocketing skills and trained her to work as a ‘treasure hunter’. A specialised type of thief who takes on contracts to acquire desired objects, and uses any means possible to procure them – even if that means breaking laws. She travelled with Freya for a while, with the two parting when Kallisto decided to return to Ul’dah.
Upon her return to Ul’dah, Kallisto found her family had left to pursue their own fortunes and she was now alone in a once familiar city. She put her trust in her quick wits and thievery to survive, scraping by a living by spending her time in the Quicksand using her charm to acquire bed and board for a night.
During this time she met people who would change the course of her life, both for better and worse. She struck up a peculiar friendship with a miqo’te named Yuuki Ayazawi and a love affair with a highlander male named Bear. She also found herself becoming attached to a miqo’te female named Ne’tura Mehd. The foursome spent many pleasurable evenings in the streets of Ul’dah, and Kalli once again found herself in amongst family.
Her lover provided her with a constant roof over her head and a steady supply of food. While her friends offered constant companionship and allowed her savage nature to calm a little.
However, it wasn’t long before Kalli was betrayed by those she had come to love, leading her into a spiral of self-doubt and distrust. She once again found herself alone and homeless. This coincided with the return of Freya into her life. The highlander woman, upon hearing news of a large treasure, decided to recruit her former partner. Kallisto, finding herself in a vulnerable position decided to go with her previous lover in search of the fabled treasure.
The job paid off, and Kalli once again feeling secure in her future let her guard down. She spent the evening celebrating with Freya. However, her former loved betrayed her, deciding she wanted to keep the treasure for herself. Freya stole away with the treasure and wounded Kallisto with a poisoned arrow, leaving the jaded Miqo'te weak and alone in the Black Shroud.
She was taken in by an herbalist and botanist living in the forest by the name of Thea Amariyo. Thea tended Kallisto's wounds, and began to feel hopeful for Kalli’s recovery. However, fate intervened and Thea was reassigned to the city of Ul'dah, leaving Kalli’s care in the hands of other healers.
Slowly, Kallisto regained her strength, and upon her recovery decided to return to her home city to seek out the woman that saved her life.

Kantrip is Kallisto's younger sister, she feels a great degree of responsibility for her. The two get on with an easy, natural friendship, being best friends as well as sisters.
Thea was responsible for nursing Kallisto back to health following her injury. She has a great respect for the woman and wishes one day to repay her kindness.
Bear was once Kallisto's lover, at his side she found a comfort and protection she had never felt with anyone else. However, their relationship ended badly and Kalli felt hurt by their split so she is in no hurry to see him again.
During Kallisto's first stay in Ul'dah, she formed a strong bond with the miqo'te woman. The two were nearly inseperable. However Ne'tura betrayed Kallisto's friendship leaving Kalli wary of trusting anyone trying to get close to her. She's still damaged from the encounter and will avoid forming deep friendships with others.
Yuuki and Kallisto began their relationship on bad terms, with the two constantly striving to fight and argue. However, between them a strange type of friendship blossomed. Yuuki is now one of the few people that Kallisto will let close to her.
