Biography- Kazial Anatia is the first born of her family, born into the world in Gridania. Kazial as a child was very quick to learn and had a very strong affinity for magic, something not seen commonly among the long lineage of Anatias. At the age of six, she was asked by a higher power within a dream, "Do you wish for power to uphold the balance of a crumbling world?" Two years later, the Calamity occured and she answered the dream with, "Yes." She awoke the next morning to find herself floating above her bed only to fall back down to her bed shortly after waking up. Her father trained Kazial to do what every first born Anatia before her did, to become a knight among the Dawnsblade. So Kazial was trained by her father, the current leader of the Dawnsblade at the time, since she was seven summers old. Her mother was once the leader of the Dawnsblade until she was bested in a non-lethal duel by her soon-to-be husband. Kazial's mother would keep a close eye on Kazial to be absolutely certain that Kazial was not born with the Unbending Will of the Anatias, a trance-like state during battle that turns any Anatia borne with such a trait into a ruthless fighter giving them fighting abilities beyond what normal fighters would be capable of. Much to her mother's dismay, Kazial was born with the original trait known only in stories as, the Unbending Fury of the Anatias, a trait only known to appear in females of the Anatia lineage. Very few are known in the lineage to possess this trait as it has only appeared in large historical battles and many of them died shortly after in the same battles. The trait manifested when Kazial was twelve summers old during a time when a group of bandits attempted to take the lives of the slowly growing family. The last thing Kazial remembers from that time is waking up and hearing from her father that she broke the intruders' legs. When she was thirteen, her magical prowess started to solidify itself. Kazial had figured out how to completely change her aetherial element whenever she wanted. Later that same day, she was attacked by a bear. Scared and afraid she cried out, but nothing happened. The scared Miqo'te opened her eyes to find that her own aether had killed the bear before it could even touch her.
- Kazial continued her training with her father into her late teenage years. At fifteen, she was able to defeat one of the elite knights among the Dawnsblade. This promptly sparked rumors that her father, Raju'a, was training her to be next in line to lead the Dawnsblade. Raju'a had intentions of honoring the Anatia tradition, but never thought about letting her lead them. At seventeen summers, Kazial learned that Raju'a had been injured and was no longer able to fight. Having completed her training with him the year prior, she asked him to let her take his place. Raju'a consulted with his wife and they both allowed Kazial to do so. She was given her father's Paladin soulstone at the age of eighteen and was leader of the Dawnsblade. Her first operation was to investigate a Void tear out in Thanalan. Upon entering the tear, the squad of eight knights with herself included were ambushed by an extremely powerful Void lord. Kazial killed the demon by herself after her squad was incapacitated. However upon leaving the tear, her right eye was forever stained with a Void magic that granted her the ability to see aether. This caused her right eye to turn from light purple to blue. In later encounters, she acquired a Dark Knight soulstone and a Black Mage soulstone. Able to use both, she quickly realized that she would need to siphon off her aether reserves to prevent herself from overloading with aether. She told the seventy-two knights under the Dawnsblade Elite and they all agreed to help. Following this, the Dawnsblade Elite Division was called to assist in a large battle known as, The Battle between Borders, which earned them the nickname, The Immortal Legion. The Dawnsblade Elites were completely outnumbered and were losing men and women slowly but surely until Kazial was the last one standing among the Dawnsblade Elite. The battle seemingly ending, until one by one, all seventy-two knights rose up from the dead and kept fighting until they won. These knights are still alive and well, all of them recall hearing Kazial's voice commanding them to rise up and fight once more.
- Not long after the Battle between Borders, the Conjurer's guild sent Rakaso Haurtafert to investigate Kazial for suspicions of black magic. Kazial didn't particularly enjoy being investigated at first until she started striking up conversation with Rakaso. She slowly started realizing after many months of conversing with Rakaso that she had fallen in love with her. Kazial confessed her feelings to Rakaso and shortly after they began dating. After three years, they both decided to get married.
