Everyone's waiting for me... ❞ Appearance Hair & Eyes Kou's hair contrasts with her copper colored eyes, being a darker shade of ash blonde; she is meticulously groomed, her hair neatly styled into a ponytail with brooch clip, layered hair creating fans at the sides of her jawline that dip to her neckline. . Physique & Markings Lithe and slender, Kou has long limbs and long fingers. Her only marking is a slight darker tone against her nose. . Hygiene & Attire Well kept. Her common hunting attire is a black one piece with tulip sleeves and a square-cut neckline, with white cuffs folded over the sleeves and buttoned into place. The upper area connects into shorts, with flaps of fabric covering the front and adorned in black bags for her materials and belts, with other adornments. Black thigh highs are worn, with black dress shoes with a bronze chunky heel. Despite being from a nomadic clan, due to her family's trade, they spent a great deal of time in Limsan territories and adapted to the style of dress there. . History . Disclaimer: . Sixth Astral Era Childhood Long before Kou or her relatives, a small clan of Keepers of the Moon were tasked with protection of a cursed relic, an object of the void brimming with power. It would taint the mind and body of all who came near it, so the clan deviated from nomadic tradition, and settled down near the coastal caves of Limsa, secluded on one of it's many islands. The clan, because of their proximity to the object, studied the darker magicks and void rigorously, attempting to one day gain enough strength to subdue the demon supressed by the relic. After many generations of stalwart guardianship, a curious kitten would stumble upon the secret directly protected by her mother, the current clan head. And that kitten would bring disaster upon her family and neighbors: the relic would be disturbed by the girl, and the seal unbroken and the demon awakened --- catching wind of her missing daughter, her mother rushed to recraft the seal, but arrived too late. The demon cursed the village with it's magick before the seal could be replaced, turning all but the naive fool to stone before becoming trapped in a cage of aetheryte and gold. And so, the girl, all alone in the world, set sail for Limsa Lominsa with her mother's mask in search of help. Seeking the aid of scholars to no avail, and with no money, Kou found herself surviving on treasure hunts, finding and bringing back materials to sell in exchange for knowledge and coin.
