Appearance & Personality
- Very much the dancer, the woman's appearance has a svelte quality. However, with her height being oddly tall for a Miqo'te female, one could be forgiven for describing her as having a waif-like figure, if being draped in fine quality clothing did not oppose such a description. With long, pale pink hair, bordering on white, and eyes a similar hue, it would appear that she fits the stereotype of a fairytale princess; however, she has lately been forgoing her glamours and letting the viper mint shine through, looking moreso like her brother - and feint traces of scars can be seen underneath her face powder, if one was allowed such a close look. Her appearance is also littered with an assortment of piercings and inked tattoos, most likely her brother's doing.
- Her personality is one that appears scatter-brained, however, upon closer inspection during a conversation, she can be seen to be quietly observing under the guise of air-headed blankness. With those she feels comfortable comes sarcasm and a devil-may-care outlook that Mother does not approve of, one little bit. She has been described as flighty in nature, but is loyal to those she deems worthy of her time; considering how select this aforementioned group is, it is of little wonder why melancholy strikes often - the recent business leading her brother to be distant does not seem to be helping the situation, especially in regards to having something resembling a healthy sleep schedule, as she relies on him to calm the nightmares that have plagued her since childhood.
Biography
The daughter of a courtesan and an unknown Keeper. Full-time fairytale Princess.
- Said image would be unheard of if her Mother had not married into money through her step-Father who, being a wealthy merchant that he is, enabled such a lifestyle. Despite this, the children not belonging to said merchant, herself and her elder brother, are just as spoiled as the one who was.
- However, that did not stop their step-Father praying to the twelve regarding how the odd children were not his; only the sweet youngest daughter held that claim.
- Unlike some of her cohorts, money is no issue. A reason for this may be perhaps the day their step-Father took them down to the docks and asked them to pick out which ship belonged to him. The children enjoyed the game, choosing the largest, most dazzling ships at the port. They were only half right; turned out the entire fleet belonged to him.
- Father laughed. Everyone else laughed. Her brother pushed Father off the dock.
- Laughter continued.
- L'Vivae ran for his life.
Childhood
- Hours upon hours were spent playing in the gigantic library contained within the house. One minute it was a castle, then a dungeon, then a pirate ship. It was not only once that their Mother had to convince both Vanelle and Vivae to get down from atop the tall bookshelves.
- For the most part, the siblings were inseparable. Incredibly possessive in regards to one another.
- Then the youngest sibling came along.
- Vanelle would be lying if she said she even accepted, let alone doted, on the newest arrival. Many plots to ship the infant to another part of the continent were conceived, but in vain. Thankfully, this attitude seems to have waned as the years have gone by and Vanelle spends more time out with the home. The relationship between she and her brother is also different as to how he is with the youngest. For if he treated them the same, the girl would most likely turn the house upside down.
Teenage
- With a height rivaling that of most Miqo'te males, and the waiflike figure of a dancer, Vanelle was an awkward, gangly teenager. It was not odd for her to be mistaken for her brother from the back in their younger years. Thankfully, as :they grew older, they were able to be told apart due to obvious reasons.
- These teenage years seemed to spark the rebellious personality trait in the girl. As her brother took on more responsibility :in the family, he began to become overprotective, especially in regards to his younger sisters. Not one to be :controlled, Vanelle was quick to learn how to climb out the window and escape the estate grounds undetected.
Present
- The woman can usually be found in Limsa Lominsa or the market of Ul'Dah; Gardania is unlikely given the sickly humidity of its climate. The only valid reason to visit Girdania, in her mind, is to bother Romanaux Aubel in his shrub. If in Ul'Dah, she is normally found sharing company with a questionable cohort of individuals. However, the caution that should be taken seems to escape the female as she happily sits on the laps, and braids the hair, of mercenaries, murderers, and pirates.
- She has taken to not covering the scars that litter her face and body through advice given by one of these individuals; however, if it were not for the excellent quality of clothing, poisons and arrows littered upon her person, one would think she was just one of them. She has lately been forgoing the glamours that masked the tell-tale green eyes of the Viper tribe, resembling her elder brother more and more as of late.
