Leon Raines (pronounced /ˈLeon Rain-es/) (23rd Sun of the 5th Umbral Moon (Oct 23)) is a Eorzean Midlander Hyur, born and raised on the outskirts of Ul'dah he and his family owned a Chocobo farm where Leon would grow up learning different skills along with basic swordplay from his father Jeger. at the young age of 18, he was encouraged to leave the homestead to go out and explore the world to live a life he wanted to live. Thus he did, however it's in this moment of his life that becomes very unclear to Leon, during this time he joined the Immortal flames and followed them into battle with the rest of the adventures near the calamity, yet his memory doesn't register nor remember any of this and bares a mark of the calamity on his upper back just below the connection to his neck.

Appearance & Personality
- Standing tall with broad shoulders, light brunette hair with bangs, and slightly babyfaced features, Leon cuts an athletic figure to go with his many talents he has gained in his life. Leon has learnt to be kind to others and to express selflessness in turn he chooses to lead by example than to lead directly. He is rarely see without a smile on his face and doesn't hesitate to help someone in need. His personality helps him try to see the hope when there is none, he always tries to find the good in things that are bad. As a Chocobo trainer he has an affinity with Chocobo's and enjoys training them. along side that, Leon is rather intelligent, usually can be found in a quiet spot with a book, or sat reflecting on certain things near a fountain rather than inside the Quicksand with a drink. Over the years Leon has learnt how to read and write due to his background as a farmer to look after the ledgers and having to learn how to read when accepting contracts from people.
Biography
Childhood
- Leon was born in the outskirts of Ul'dah on the farm that he grew up on. Which would become his home for all of his childhood and nearly all of his teenage years. Being a quiet boy, Leon would always accompany his ma and pa to work on the farm, he became adept at chocobo training at a young age and would often play with the Chocobo's and their chicks. It was during his childhood stages that Leon would learn how to read and write from his ma. Due to his work on the farm, Leon learn discipline and the reward of hard work very early on, and also the gratefulness of their donations of food and provisions to the refugees would later inspire Leon to want to help others.
Teenage
- Nothing much really happened to Leon Raines as a Teenager, he would play with his friends after working at the farm but eventually they would all move away from the outskirts and leave to go on their own adventures. at 18 Leon would be encouraged by his Pa and Ma to leave the village and explore the world, to see the world with his own eyes and make a difference. A choice he would go on to accept but not to leave without a parting gift. A chocobo that he was raising who would become his very loyal and trusted friend, Choco, who to this day still carries Leon into battle and to new lands.
- After leaving the farm things become blurry for Leon as he was one of the warriors at the Calamity. Alas when he awoke he had no recollection of what had happened yet he knew where he was and who he was, so he decided to wave it off as simple illness, yet from time to time. it would still bother him. But before all that, he would join different caravans and different groups to learn the ways of fighting with sword and shield, and to enhance his blacksmithing and carpentering skills, also learning how to cook on the move and in the wild, along side this he was taught the basic's of hunting and respecting the dead of those he has killed. It was then he joined the Immortal flames when the call was given.
Present
After the calamity, Leon was found by a male Miqo'te named Y'ahna Tia, the two would eventually form a bond so deep that Leon would call him his only brother and the two would be inseparable.
At time of writing, Leon had recently just joined the Kindred mercenary group and started his work there with his closest friend, Y'hana Tia.
