Loronus was born and raised to be an adventurer it seemed like. He grew up raised only by his father traveling along the roads as wanderers. His father seen as a master swordsman would train him and local militias in their travels in the way of the blade helping to hone their skills.
This odd lifestyle growing up has left him ignorant to the culture of his people. What might be common sense to others of his kind is lost to him. Though through these travels he learned the Mannerisms and Etiquettes of many other cultures. Giving him insight and knowledge into many forms of Swordplay.
' Loronus doesn't tend to divulge about his background unless asked about it. Even then Loronus himself does not know much about certain details. So unless stated in character to you this knowledge is unknown.

Appearance
Loronus stands at about average height with a slightly muscular but lean stature. His hair is naturally a light purple but he has since developed red highlights into it turning sometimes pinkish in hue. He usually stands in a loose stance keeping himself looking calm and composed but observing for trouble depending on the circumstances.
Behavior and Personality
Loronus is usually an outgoing individual easy to talk to and greet people unless accompanied by large groups of people he does not know. Always trying to put on a smile and make people feel at ease he does tend to let his emotions show. Slightly flirtatious with females because of his father's influence he has no problem speaking and complimenting them but isn't quite that good at receiving them tending to blush and stutter upon compliments at times but it happens less as of late.
Loronus is an honest person but knows how to lie when the time calls for it. Feeling that it is for the greater good at the time he will walk that gray line especially for friends and who he considers family. Tending to listen in on people's conversations though not out of maliciousness but concern for them. Though he is more than willing to give the benefit of the doubt he does so only when he feels something is amiss. Willing to work with the devil as some put it he will walk the path he feels will do the most good for others.
Combat
Loronus was trained by his father from a young age in his swordstyle. Only recently has Loronus started to incorporate the shield into his fighting due to the encounters of larger monsters in the realm of eorzea. Normally using only a sword and incorporating Pugilism fighting as well as grappling into his style. One moment he could be slashing at you with a sword next you could be having him mounted on top of you landing hard blows to your face. Known to be reckless at times he enjoys the fight throwing himself into a blow to give his opponent an even more devastating attack.

Family
Loronus only really knows his father Nekaro Deatro having never met his mother and not knowing much about her. He looks up and is inspired by his father looking to be like him as both a masterful swordsman and person. He has at least 5 half siblings from his father's lovers during his travels. He doesn't think much about this and feels it is completely normal for people to have multiple lovers though he himself has never had any. He has never met any of his siblings though and hopes one day he may be able too.

Skratti Bowens : Skratti was the first member of Eclipsis to join after Loronus. Haven given her a tour of the House he hopes to get to know more about her and form a better relationship with her.
X'kohu Tia : One of the few friends he had before joining Eclipsis Kohu had shown him the ropes of dungeon delving as his healer. Close friends they tend to tease and insult each other but mean it in good fun.
Ennara Calian : Loronus has met Ennara briefly on many occasions. Not quite sure what to think about her at times he has come to know her as reliable back up on the field with her bow. Though she seems quick to anger at times Loronus feels he can stick it out to make a good friendship with her work.
Jilyan Sakura : Jilyan has helped Loronus a lot with settling into Eclipsis. Helping him with clothes and furniture he appreciates her friendship and hopes that he can be of as much a help to her as she has been to him.
Orpheus Arkouda : Loronus has met Orpheus once and seemed to click with him. But that could have been the alcohol they were both drinking. He hopes to get to know him better and become better friends but only time can tell.

Background
Early Years
“Vereor Nox” The name of a Mysterious organizations working secretly for their own gains. Rumors state that they are a group of scholars studying the Voidsent looking to be able to control and utilize them. Other rumors state that they fight against Voidsent and banish them from this world before they see the light of day. But the most disturbing is that this group works alongside the voidsent in their endeavours.
While these may not be completely false the real truth is that “Vereor Nox” is a cult of followers looking to meld themselves with Voidsent to become something more. They act from day to day as if they are no different than the people they walk next to. But they look down upon them feeling themselves to be something more wielding the powers of the Voidsent they have melded with. Each member of this group was either recruited or given birth into the cult. Each member joins with only the base knowledge of what they are coming into. Most have dabbled in the dark arts and show promise to the people who bring them into the fold. Though this is not always the case and some bring in complete innocents and break their minds making them lust for the power that the voidsent can give them.
When one initially joins they are seen as nothing more than an acolyte. They are traded from master to master used and abused with any deed or task their masters think of until they are deemed worthy to handle the task of melding with a voidsent. The task of melding with a voidsent is an arduous one as each voidsent is different in their willingness to become merged permanently with a host. The task can take a couple of hours to a few days as they wrestle each other to gain control of the combined consciousness. Those who fail minds are destroyed and taken over by the voidsent. Few have escaped but those that do are hunted down by the cult to rid of any evidence. Those that suceed though their minds become corrupted and warped they see themselves no longer human but as those wearing the mask of one. In every case they develop at least one unique new ability or power that they instinctively know how to use. This is unique to the individual and the power they gain can never be guessed. Once they have gone through the process of “Becoming one with the Void” they become a full member of the cult learning the rituals and practices and full goals of “Vereor Nox”.
Loronus Deatro's Mother was a member of the Cult as well as leader of the family “Otread” his father Nekaro not knowing of her allegiance to “Vereor Nox” at the time of giving her child. Though he did find out eventually finding odd circumstances of his Lover and Child disappearing at odd times of the night and returning before the dawn. Following her one day he found out about “Vereor Nox” though late to stop them from branding the child with the dark magic of the void. This mark is magical and tainted with the darkness of the void marking the wearer to be a future host of Voidsent and part of the cult. Not wishing his child to be part of such an atrocious heresy he stole him away from the vial place slaughtering many of the cultists but when coming face to face with his wife was unable to strike her down. He ran away with the child changing his family name and wandering as any Keeper of the moon Male would do. He decided though his son must never know of this travesty and raised his son outside of the ways of the Keepers to protect him.
Loronus grew up strong though the mark never fading. When he was old enough to walk he seemed old enough to wield a weapon. Mimicking his father while he practiced swordplay amused his father. Seeing the need and the interest he raised his son in the ways of sword fighting training him in his style as he grew. Nekaro would try to settle down multiple times and give his son the life he felt he deserved. Falling in love with many women over the years he would try to settle down with each of them and raise Loronus with them as a family. But eventually “Vereor Nox” would find them and he was forced to leave his new lover behind and bring his son somewhere new to protect him.
This repeated for many years learning as much as he can to protect his son he trained him in his sword style and tried to teach him also in the ways of conjury. This though was found to be difficult the brand on his back with its Dark energies messed with the ever needed Aether for Loronus to cast more than the basic spells of Conjury. Not skilled in the arts of Magic he focused on teaching Loronus the art of the sword so that he may one day be able to protect himself when his father no longer could.
When Loronus turned the age of 15 he told his son to head out into the world and be free. He no longer had anything he could teach him and that to grow stronger he must train on his own. Loronus with tears in his eyes accepted the sword his father offered him and headed out into the world on his own. A year later the Calamity happened. Loronus was nowhere near the battle of Carteneau but like many others he felt the changes it wrought upon the world. He became and adventurer training his skills and learning new ones along the way. Taking odd jobs he could find he managed to learn much about the world but not much about himself. He kept in touch with his father by letters though never knowing where he may be. The years passed as he wandered around slowly picking up the art of using a shield as well he made his way to Uldah joining the Gladiator's guild and eventually the order of Paladins.
Present Day
Loronus is currently in the Employ of the Free Company Eclipsis. Recently promoted to the head of the Tankard Division of the Company he is the Bar Manager of Eclipsis's Bar 'The Solaris Pub'. Spending a majority of his time recently renovating and hiring a set of staff he welcomes any and all to come visit and try out any of their drinks and enjoy themselves.
He has also been looking into his past trying to find out more about his mother and the strange marking upon the base of his neck. Only being able to find out very little but knowing he can find out more he has started asking questionable people for help. This may come back to bite him but he can hold his own.
